About: Hi There! I have 25 years of animal care experience, as well as dog training and behavior knowledge. I’ve just returned from living in Thailand for a year, where I worked as a supervisor for Lanta Animal Welfare, a dog and cat rescue. Prior to that, I volunteered at Rocket Dog Rescue. I had been working as a dog walker for 2 years leading up to my move. To make things even more interesting and weird, I also have have 15 years of experience in gorilla, chimpanzee and other primate care through volunteering with Oakland Zoo, Ape Action Africa and formerly The Gorilla Foundation with Koko! I know how much the animals in my life (domestic and otherwise) mean to me. That said, I promise to treat your pet(s) with the same love and attention I would hope for if I were hiring someone to do the same for my animal family. I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. Our home has two lush green lawns where our pets love to play. Because I work from home, I’m available to nurture and care for my pets all day long. Having pets of my own I am very well aware of the responsibilities that come with a dog. I know just exactly what is required of me, and what is expected. After a long hard day at work, you will be able to come home to a cuddle bug just waiting for your arrival. Or even while you are away on vacation, you can be rest assured knowing that your pet is in good hands! What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents. And let me know of any problem behaviors so I can best understand your dog's needs and how to approach it.

“Golda was a great caretaker for our hyper-active labradoodle! She worked to tire Ginger out with endless ball-throwing (what she lives for). My dog just went through major hip surgery, and is on a strict medication schedule along with PT range of motion exercises and a strict bed rest. Beatryx took the time to meet me and ask exactly what I wanted during Pepe’s boarding. They asked all the right questions and assured me that Pepe would be in great care. The day when I had to leave Pepe, I ran into some complications at work and had to reschedule the drop off time. Beatryx was so understanding and flexible about everything. They sent me pictures every hour because they knew how anxious I was. Pepe was so happy that when we went to leave he had to go back and give Beatryx extra kisses. I would definitely leave Pepe with Beatryx again and again!”
