1. Kelly L.
“Kelly has been a great caregiver for our dog, Cali! We have been using Kelly twice a week for the last few weeks and hope to continue. Our dog is super excited to be dropped off there. Our active puppy gets lots of love and attention, playtime and walks and comes home all tuckered out. Kelly is also very responsive to messages and flexible when we have had schedule changes. I strongly recommend Kelly!”
2. Chad A.
“Excellent care ! Chad is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a big house with a huge backyard. When I arrived for pick up, my dog was sleeping on the couch. Comfortable and safe. Thank you.”
3. Danielle M.
“Danielle took great care of my dog! Usually my dog is very sad when I leave but she was running to meet Danielle and to get inside. She played all day with Danielle’s dog and they became fast friends. I loved all the photos and updates I received throughout the day! My dog was in safe hands, I couldn’t recommend Danielle more! I will definitely have her babysit again”

“Kim and Jeff were great with Andy, he adjusted to them very easily and loved their back yard to explore. They were very easy to communicate with and sent pictures all day to keep me in touch with Andy’s day.”
6. Eiko S.
“Eiko is a great dog caregiver. She kept me informed with how Hinahina was doing so I don’t worry any bit. Drop off and pickup were both smooth. She also offered “meet and greet” before the day of daycare so we were both comfortable. Highly recommended!”
7. Jeff & Beth K.
“Jeff and Beth were great! They helped us out by scheduling a meet and greet on short notice and subsequently took excellent care of our new pup. They communicated clearly and frequently; shared a ton of photos; and provided our pup with plenty of time outside and on the trails. We will certainly have Jeff and Beth take care of our dog again and highly recommend them.”
8. Neia P.
“From Neia’s convenience being in the local Oakland community, to providing Rhonda & me with education, love, understanding and support in a last minute need of a sitter, we are so glad to have found a regular sitter in Neia giving us a GREAT first Rover experience.”
9. Winnie C.
“Winnie was very quick to respond to my last minute request for day care and was great with my dog Fred, who seemed happy when we picked him up. She even accommodated a drop off time earlier than I originally requested and late pickup time, so we were grateful to have found Winnie on Rover!”
10. MaryCatherine C.
“MaryCatherine is AMAZING! This was my first time taking my dog a sitter so I was bit nervous, but once Buddy got there I knew he would be in great hands. She shared videos through the day to share how his day was going (which also gave me comfort). I would HIGHLY recommend her.”
11. Lee J.
“Lee was GREAT with Carter! Made him feel at home, kept him safe and happy. She also sent videos and pics without me asking which was super nice. Her home is spacious, clean and has an open backyard for the dogs to play in. Her dogs also got along well with my little Carter. I’ll definitely be booking her again.”

14. Elizabeth G.
About: I've lived with animals my whole life and have cared for my own high-energy dogs for 14 years. I work from my Montclair home, where I currently have a malamute, cat, and chickens and a large fenced yard. I have done obedience training with my dogs and have a strong understanding of their needs and where I can safely take them for fun. I work from home and already have a consistent dog care schedule for my malamute. He has full access to my large, fenced, backyard (and inside my house) until mid-day, when I let the chickens out in the backyard and take my dog on some sort of outing - either an off-leash hike in a park or beach romp, or a leashed neighborhood walk. Then, he stays inside with me for a few hours while the chickens finish up their ranging, before I put them back in the coop. Any additional dog I care for would have this same schedule. I have a big fenced backyard and a very friendly, playful, malamute. I have a dog door that stays open, except when the chickens are out in the afternoon. My house is cozy, with a mini-split heat pump providing cool or warm air. I do some sort of outing with my dog each day. I have a cat and chickens, so any dog I host will have to be good with cats and not overly obsessed with the chickens. I know to keep my own dog separated from them (bad past experiences), and would do the same with your dog, but some dogs are so obsessed they may try to get out to harass or attack them, so we'd need to assess that ahead of time.
15. Cassandra L.
“Cassandre obviously loves dogs! She took the time to work with me on my doggy daycare first timer. My dog had a great time under cassandre’s care.”
16. Emma V.
“Emma is an exceptional pet caregiver! Her genuine love for animals shines through in every interaction. With a keen eye for detail and a nurturing nature, she ensures each pet’s unique needs are met. Trust Emma to provide a safe, loving environment or time together for your furry friends. Highly recommended!”
17. Osaze R.
“Tansy was so so sweet! Livvy came home exhausted and happy. She had such a good time she was barely happy to see me! I would have preferred to get more actual info about how she was adjusting, eating, doing her business, etc. but the videos were great.”
18. Ares S.
“Ares has always been the one who has taken care of my two dogs. He has always helped me through difficult seasons and on my vacations.”
19. Joseph T.
About: I have owned 2 large dogs for 8 years now and have lived around dogs my whole life. I have an excellent understanding of dog temperament across many different breeds and love to walk and care for dogs of all sizes and ages. I consider dogs to be my children and treat them as such, so they will never be in a situation where they are uncomfortable, agitated, or scared. I also have tons of experience grooming both short hair and long hair dogs and can offer that as a service as well. I look forward to walking or boarding your fur babies! I currently work from home part-time and have a lot of flexibility during the day to care for dogs. I can offer multiple walks during the day and plenty of playtime while boarding! I have a large fenced yard and 2 friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. My house has ample toys and treats, and I am always home to keep an eye out and play with the dogs as well. On walks, I keep the dogs on leash at all times and will not take them to dog parks unless the owner permits AND until they see me as the pack leader. I don't feel safe with other dogs in that environment unless I am in 100% control of the dogs under my supervision.
20. Dan G.
“I had to leave town for business and heard how good Dan is with dogs from an aquaintence. So I decided to call him up and give him a shot. Dan is very nice in person and seems to love being with dogs. Knowing how I am with my pup (Aussie Shepard) whom is a spoiled boy seemed to get the same treatment. I knew it was going to be a good fit when Finn took a liking to him the moment they met. He seems very confident with any breed or dog and I would highly recommend him to all I know and most definitely use Dan again when I'm in my travels. Phil V.”
