When I picked up Sandy, she was brushed and kept “white” as nicely as when we dropped her off. Suzanne is also nice and friendly. She is organized and calm. That’s why I think her place is ideal for pets who can be uncomfortable when owners leave them for a days.”

About: I’ve always loved animals, for their big hearts and one of a kind personality traits. My family had a Rottweiler when I was a child and she always felt like the little sister I never had. I love being outdoors, so if your pet is active then i can take them to some of my favorite hiking trails that are near your home. If they're homebodies then I'll typically play some tug-o-war, or fetch with their favorite toys until they're tired. Then i'll feed them and chill out.

We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 4 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, currently $150/night or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet- & -greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. Belle and I spend at least 1 hour outside everyday, weather permitting, and would love some company on our daily adventures. I can't take her out on hikes daily so some days consist of multiple walks with many potty breaks throughout the day. Belle is a very sweet and easy-going dog; she can be anti-social or shy at first and needs time to warm up to other dogs. Don't be offended if Belle shows no interest in your dog! Dogs have supervised access to the yard for bio breaks and are free to explore the home. Mental games and toys are available to keep dogs entertained if I am busy in the kitchen or running errands. I also like to train dogs basic cues (sit, down, stay, here/come, etc.) so if you are okay with that, I'm happy to do so! Belle and I completed beginners and intermediate training with Bravo Pup, and I like to continue to reinforce our training every day.
About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have an 8 year old that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. About: My pug mix Lulu will LOVE to go on walks with your dog in the Oakland hills. Lulu loves all friends and has made so many furry friends in the neighborhood in Piedmont Pines. We are very active together and go on lots of walks, hikes and I take Lulu to Joaquin Miller dog park and Fairy Land dog meet up. I'd love to take your dog along on our adventures and host your dog at my house, or go for a drop in visit with Lulu at your house. We'll have so much fun together, especially with Lulu wanting to play constantly! Your dog's comfort and safety is my priority, and I also give them so many hugs and snuggles. Since I have my 2 year old Pug mix Lulu, we have a great routine together that includes morning and afternoon walks and taking her to dog parks in the evening. She also has her best friends up the street on Ascot and we go play with them a bunch of times in the week. Lulu's happiness and joy is my priority, and we prioritize being outside for playtime and hikes as much as possible. About: I’ve pet sit dogs of every kind since childhood. I’ve had the pleasure of owning my dog Basco, for the last 10 years, since he was a pup, so I know how much love and responsibility is involved in pet care. He is my best friend, and when your pet is with me they will feel like part of my pack. I owned and cared for nearly every type of pet including, reptiles, small animals and exotics. I volunteer on a horse ranch and my very first job was at a pet store. My neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for over 2 decades. And I am the go-to phone call for pet needs of all my community. I love pets more than people most times and always say hi to every passing pup on the street. Feel free to reach out for any questions you may have, I can’t wait to meet you and your pet family. I am currently working from home, so I have tons of time for pet care. I have a dog of my own and frequently take him out for breaks throughout the day. I have a small patio and live in a secure building. I can easily crate you pup as needed as well in my spacious condo.

About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
