1. Juliana & Katherine Q.
About: Our pets are family. My approach is a balance of attention and simple structure that makes for happy socialization. My partner and I have always had cats and dogs and I have experience with everything from puppyhood to the special healthcare challenges of senior pets (including administration of oral meds and injected insulin) I used to walk dogs back in college as a part-time job. Now, I am excited to make some new 4-legged friends and get out for some exercise together. I work from home part-time and with a very flexible schedule. I do long walks in the morning and afternoon and, if staying with us, in addition to walks, your doggie will have full access to the yard during the day to sunbathe and play. If house sitting at yours, I will be on hand with your pet at a minimum in the morning, for a few hours mid-day, and then all evening and night. We have a large fenced yard and two small, friendly pups (9lb young female yorkie and 12lb female coton de tulear) to play with. "The girls" are not crated at night, but I am happy to set up your pup's normal sleeping area if staying with us. For dog walking, I do 30-45 minute adventures with priority given to clients located in Oakland's Laurel, Dimond, Maxwell Park, and Redwood Heights neighborhoods. Ideally, your dog loves walking with some friends, but we can customize for personal pup needs.

4. Celeste C.

“Celeste was great! She arrived quickly after a last min request and was upbeat even in 80+ degree weather. Would definitely request Celeste again!”

5. Zsa-Zsa R.

“Zsa-Zsa is Lucky’s favorite walker and sitter and for good reason. Zsa-Zsa is very loving and I trust her completely with Lucky - whether is for a short walk or for an overnight.”

6. Zihir T.

7. Bailey N.

“Bailey did a wonderful job taking care of our girl Raya for the day and keeping us updated on each visit and walk. This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter and are so grateful that we found Bailey. Raya was certainly happy to have a new friend to go on walks with.”

8. Summer S.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young, including my own pup of 7 years. Friends often rely on me to walk their dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and I always make sure each pet feels safe and loved in my care. My years of hands-on experience, plus a genuine love for animals, help me build trust with both pets and their owners. I just graduated from UCLA and recently moved back to the Bay Area, where I plan on working part-time. This gives me a flexible schedule with plenty of time to focus on your pet’s needs. I’m most weekdays which is perfect for playtime, walks, or extended care! I always maintain a clean, pet-friendly space and follow any instructions or routines the owner provides to ensure your pet feels right at home and safe.

9. Korin M.

“Korin does a great job. We have a senior dog and a reactive 3yo dog. She comes to our house, takes them both on a walk at the same time (challenging to do) and sends photos and updates throughout. We are so lucky to have connected with her!”

10. Gary P.

“Gary is very aware, considerate and caring for our pups! Accommodating for their needs and pays attention with changes in their behavior during hot weather. He’s been great with walking our pups!”

11. Elizabeth M.

“Elizabeth was fantastic - came over the night before our first walk to meet our dog which I think was super helpful for everyone! Took extra care to check our dog’s water bowls after each walk and sent cute pictures!”

12. Kit Jon S.
“Kit did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Derby! She was a loving caregiver and very responsible. I felt safe knowing that my pet was in good and capable hands”

13. kaiya s.

“Kaiya is an excellent communicator! Kaiya is responsible and I really appreciate the photos she sends of the walks. Rilo looks like she is having a great time.”

14. Nikki S.
“Awesome and amazing.”

15. Christine M.

“We have used Christine as a dog walker on several occasions, and she is great! Christine does a good job of communicating with us when she takes Linus for his walks, and she takes great pictures! She is punctual, trustworthy, and our dog loves her. Highly recommend!!”

16. Alberto S.

“Alberto is really caring with my pets and my pets loved him! His attention to detail is great and he kept me updated on my babies. I will definitely return for more of his services. Thanks again!”

17. Mary L.
“Mary has been a dog lover all of her life. She has vast experience both fostering dogs in her home and pet sitting dogs and cats in someone else's home. After her own dog passed away she connected with Brother Wolf Animal Shelter in Asheville, NC and fostered several dogs and all of them found forever homes. I have seen her provide such loving and responsible care for these dogs as if they were her own. Several came to her terrified, withdrawn, and traumatized and with her love and care they blossomed into calm social pets. She comes highly recommended.”

18. Emma H.

“Emma was amazing! From the moment she picked up Churro, you could see that she absolutely LOVES dogs and takes her task seriously. She was on time, took time to ask all the necessary questions to build trust and had an amazing attitude towards our Churro. Churro came back exhausted and happy. She sent pictures during the walk and gave updates the entire time. 5 stars is not enough”

19. Kate N.

“Thank you Kate! Kate was great and showed up on time to walk Frank. Frank was very happy with Kate!”

20. Ainsley C.

“Great guy! Felt really confident having him walk my dog and my dog came back tuckered out and happy! Will be using him again.”
