“Jennifer was lovely, attentive, and a great communicator. We just adopted our dog and he has little bursts of aggression and Jennifer was kind enough to come by before their first walk to test the waters. Everything turned out great and Jennifer sent updates and pictures throughout his walks. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Agnes is great! The meet and greet went really well and she asked good questions to be as prepared as possible. She wrote detailed notes for the rover cards and took many photos during every walk. She took the time to play with my pup and engage with with. I highly recommend Agnes!”

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

About: I have had dogs in my life from the very beginning. I teach 3rd grade and love dog sittng/walking during the summer. I have had Shih Tzus, Chocolate Labs, Golden Retrievers, Pomeranians, and a beautiful Great Dane. I am responsible, loving, and detail oriented. I am also the ultimate play mate for any kind of pup personality. I have 9 years of experience within canine care. I am also able to meet any special needs your furry friends may need. Teacher during the Summer so I am pretty open. Also, I do work during the school year as well. I need pups year round. :) I am an experienced pet owner and dog walker. I have owned multiple dogs, guinea pigs, dwarf hamsters. I’ve been taking care of pets professionally for over a decade.

About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. My best friend lives on my floor and we take walks with his dog every morning and evening so it’s very well incorporated in my schedule I make my place conducive for pets since I have one visit often. No cords laying around, vacuumed floors and room temperature thermostat. This also applies to client apartments

About: Im a dog lover, it was this or continue to bother my friends for time with their dogs 🐕 so here I am! Can’t wait to hang out with your dogs I have a hybrid ft job and looking to fill my free time with lots of walks and doggie hang outs. Not oppose to long stays either. I care for pets in the way that they are accustomed to, I will go off of the routine they are used to and go from there.

About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.

“Jaqueline has been walking our dog regularly for the last six months. Our dog is stubborn and doesn't warm up to people quickly but he loves his walks with Jaqueline! She's reliable, flexible, and easy to communicate with. You can tell she really loves animals and cares for our dog like her own, including accommodating special considerations due to his health issues. We highly recommend Jaqueline!”

“Tea has been an amazing dog sitter for us! She’s always punctual, sends great photos and detailed updates, and truly cares for our pups. Today, she went above and beyond by accommodating a last-minute request.”

About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes since I was 12, including long-term stays while owners were away on extended trips. During college, I regularly walked and looked after dogs in my community. I truly love being around dogs — they bring joy and energy to every day! I bring a gentle, attentive, and caring approach to every dog I meet, treating each pet like my own. I'm always focused on making dogs feel safe, happy, and loved — whether it's a short walk or an extended stay. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and communicate clearly, so you can feel confident that your dog is in good hands. I just graduated from college, and I won't be starting my job until late Spring. I'm currently not working and am typically available every day between 7am and 7pm. Early afternoon is ideal for me (between 12pm and 3pm), but I'm available before and after. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to follow their routine as closely as possible — whether that means specific feeding times, walking schedules, playtime habits, or any special instructions. I respect the space by keeping things clean and tidy, and I’m very mindful of the pet’s comfort in their own environment. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and adjust my approach to what makes them feel safe and happy. I also send regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing!

“Viola is amazing with Pochi. She sends the best pictures during the walks and it's great to know your baby is in good hands. Definitely will (already have) request again! ??”

“Great dog walker! Good with dog and reliable!”

About: Since 2022 I’ve had 2 dogs and 3 cats. Never did I think I’d be an animal mom. My babies have helped me tremendously with my mental health. I’m so grateful to be able to open my home and heart for more furry friends. I’m a stay at home wife. I left my job in April to focus on myself & my health. School starts in August (online courses), so working on my permit so I can continue to teach. My days look the same, lots of snuggles with my babies, walks along the marina, snacking together. I’m very much a homebody, now that I have a dog Im trying to get out more and be “social” lol. My babies have free range in our home. They are allowed anywhere in the apartment. Most of the time we are in bed watching the office or friends. There is an abundance of snacks and toys, dad spoils them the most. For the most part it’s pretty quiet and cozy and we have an abundance of space for more fur babes.

“Lilly did a great job walking my jumpy, nervous, skidding dog. It took a while to warm up to her, but by the end, she was eating treats off her hand. So proud of my dog! And Lilly too for being so patient. Looking forward to using Lilly again!”

“Wes and Margot had a lovely evening walk with Charlii. Thanks so much!!”

“Jay is great with my little guy and he just loves the special attention he receives. Jay has been walking Chipper for a few months and he looks forward to his daily walks! Knowing that he is well cared for and spoiled while I am at work is such a relief.”

About: My family’s had 2 Havanese dogs a little over 3 years now and I take care of them regularly when they go out for the night or leave town. In addition I occasionally sit for family friends who have a Yorkie and used to watch a neighbor’s cat when she was still with us. Most animals find me agreeable and I try to be consistent and loving with any younger ones so that they’re shaped into the best possible pets. I’ve recently left my long-term job to focus on watching/walking pets. I do some gig work to make ends meet but my main passion right now is animal care. I have a spacious loft apartment in Chinatown Oakland in a very safe neighborhood just a few minutes walk from Lake Merritt. Crating (with one provided for me) in the apartment is an option as well as my sectional couch or rug depending on your animal’s preferences.

“Great dog walker! Good with dog and reliable!”

Monica G.
“I met Monica during a walk with one of my timid and anxious foster dogs. My foster was usually fearful of strangers, but to my surprise, she immediately warmed up to Monica, something I had never seen before. Monica’s gentle presence and calm energy clearly made my dog feel safe, and it showed me that animals can truly sense when someone is a good person. Since then, I’ve confidently referred clients to Monica whenever I’m unavailable, and the feedback is always overwhelmingly positive. She’s incredibly responsible, attentive, and loving with animals. On top of that, she’s clear and transparent in her communication, always asking great questions to make sure nothing gets missed or misunderstood. I trust her completely with any pet, and I know others will too.”

“Stephan is a dog lover at heart. He is an attentive, reliable and compassionate dog-sitter who puts our pet's needs first. The love and attention goes both ways as our dog adores him as well. I know that with Stephan I do not need to worry about a thing!”
