“Lee is the absolute best! Firstly she is so communicative and responsive, she makes all of the logistics so easy. Our dog is very anxious and typically very apprehensive of new environments, people and dogs - he can’t just be left with just any dog sitter - and Lee was so understanding of him and made him feel right at home. She truly understands small dogs!!”

“Baxter has stayed Andrea and her pups twice for daycare, with hopefully more days to come! Andrea has a gentle, kind spirit and seems very attuned to a dog's needs. At our meet & greet, she asked great questions about Baxter and his routines. She provided fun updates with pics a few times a day -- much appreciated!”

About: We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Alameda, and we’d be so happy to care for your pup! Whether your dog is playful, laid-back, or needs a little extra TLC, we work together to make sure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. One of the best parts about working as a team is that your pup will get round-the-clock attention. We both have flexible schedules, and I work from home, which means your dog will enjoy regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and snuggles throughout the day. We can provide consistent companionship and meet your dog’s needs, no matter their routine. We live in a quiet Alameda neighborhood. Our home is calm, clean, and dog-friendly, and your pup is welcome to make themselves comfortable. We’re happy to follow your pet’s routine and provide updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.

About: I’ve had medium to large dogs most of my life and I’m the go-to dog sitter in my friend group. I currently have a large Malinois named Maze. With my experience, I can work with reactive dogs and high energy breeds. I work from home and I’m usually walking my dog 4-5 times a day. I can do drop ins or walks anytime in my surrounding area. I live in an apartment with a large dog. The living area is always clean of any dog hazards. I have a large patio and I take my dog out for multiple walks throughout the day to tire her out.

About: Hi I’m Damian 👋🏻 I love walking dogs of all sizes and breeds. I walk dogs because it’s fun and fulfilling for me. I have flexibility to be available when it is best for you and your pup. I’ll be consistent and very easy to work with! I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I work remotely. I’m happy to flex my work schedule based on you and your dogs needs! Let me know what works best for you! I will walk your dog and treat your dog as if it were mine! Please share you and your dog’s needs and safety concerns and we can put together a plan. :)

About: Dogs have always been a central part of my life, from growing up with a beloved family dog to raising my own puppy into a happy, well-trained adult dog. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including my parents’ high maintenance senior dog, so I understand the full spectrum of a dog’s needs at every life stage. Over the years, I’ve provided pet sitting and dog walking for family, friends, and neighbors, and I genuinely love creating joyful, safe experiences for every dog in my care. What makes me different is my deep empathy, for both dogs and their owners. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I’m here to make that process feel easy, transparent, and reassuring. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playful companionship, or just a calm presence, I’m dedicated to making them feel loved and secure. To me, no request is too small when it comes to your dog’s comfort and happiness. Right now, I’m in between full-time jobs, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can build my days around your dog’s specific needs. Whether your pup needs midday walks, extended care, or last-minute help, I’m able to accommodate a variety of routines. I’m especially hoping to find consistent, recurring gigs, but I’m also more than happy to help with short-term or one-time bookings. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for—on your schedule. I live in a secure 8th-floor apartment just a block from Lake Merritt, an ideal location for dogs who enjoy outdoor time, socialization, and variety. For pups who love to play, there’s a lively, friendly dog area near Fairyland from about 5–7 PM daily that I’m happy to take them to, as well as a nearby fenced-in park for safe games of fetch. If your dog prefers solo walks or isn’t as social, I’m just as happy to take them on calm, leash-only walks around the neighborhood or along the lake. I always prioritize your dog’s comfort, boundaries, and safety. At home, your dog will be spending time with Homer, my sweet 60 lb Goldendoodle who’s incredibly friendly and used to living with and around other dogs. He loves having a buddy around! For boarding requests, I always recommend a meet & greet first to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. For dog walking or drop-in visits, I’m happy to accommodate any extra care needs, whether that’s refilling water, feeding, or giving meds. My goal is to create a calm, caring environment where your dog feels safe, happy, and loved, whether they’re with me or in their own home.

About: Since 2022 I’ve had 2 dogs and 3 cats. Never did I think I’d be an animal mom. My babies have helped me tremendously with my mental health. I’m so grateful to be able to open my home and heart for more furry friends. I’m a stay at home wife. I left my job in April to focus on myself & my health. School starts in August (online courses), so working on my permit so I can continue to teach. My days look the same, lots of snuggles with my babies, walks along the marina, snacking together. I’m very much a homebody, now that I have a dog Im trying to get out more and be “social” lol. My babies have free range in our home. They are allowed anywhere in the apartment. Most of the time we are in bed watching the office or friends. There is an abundance of snacks and toys, dad spoils them the most. For the most part it’s pretty quiet and cozy and we have an abundance of space for more fur babes.

About: ***IMMEDIATE JACK LONDON SQ ONLY FOR WALKS/DROP-INS PLEASE *** Trust is everything, especially when it comes to caring for our pups! I believe ALL dogs are stars with their own unique "genre" (Punk, EDM, R&B, Rock, Pop, easy listening) and let's face it, this is how they crack us up on a daily basis! I believe positive reinforcement, but also Cesar's Way (exercise, discipline, affection) and include lots of playfulness in the process (solo or with my pup - your preference). I enjoy assisting in ongoing training (how to improve walking on a leash, how to look good for their "Dogs playing poker" portrait, etc) while in my care. Whether it be for a brief stay or a brisk walk (A tired dog is a happy dog!) I can't wait to meet your fluffy family member and help ease your mind while you are away from them. I have worked with dogs that may be fearful or have anxiety (many often confuse with being "aggressive" when this is not the case). Being attentive on our walks at all times is paramount...I'm not one who focuses on looking at my phone constantly (unless I'm taking pics of our walk to send to you!) while letting your pup pick up or eat something they shouldn't. Many thanks! I currently work from home and have flexibility to work with local dogs for walks/drop-ins in the Jack London Square area and boarding (near or far). I have a large fenced patio and is easy to monitor the fur monsters if they want to enjoy the outdoors a bit during their day.

About: I've been caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 7years. With over 5 years of hands-on experience, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide loving companionship for their pets. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality, and I always ensure they feel safe, stimulated, and happy in my care. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra TLC, I tailor my approach to meet their needs. You can count on me for reliable, responsive, and compassionate care every time. I'm currently working part-time and fully remote, which gives me lots of flexibility and time to care for your pets throughout the day. Your pup will never be short on attention, playtime, or cuddles! I keep a clean, calm environment where your fur baby can feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. I always supervise all outdoor time to ensure safe play, and I can easily crate your dog if needed or if that’s your preference.

About: My family’s had 2 Havanese dogs a little over 3 years now and I take care of them regularly when they go out for the night or leave town. In addition I occasionally sit for family friends who have a Yorkie and used to watch a neighbor’s cat when she was still with us. Most animals find me agreeable and I try to be consistent and loving with any younger ones so that they’re shaped into the best possible pets. I’ve recently left my long-term job to focus on watching/walking pets. I do some gig work to make ends meet but my main passion right now is animal care. I have a spacious loft apartment in Chinatown Oakland in a very safe neighborhood just a few minutes walk from Lake Merritt. Crating (with one provided for me) in the apartment is an option as well as my sectional couch or rug depending on your animal’s preferences.

“Kaitlyn was great- responsive, flexible in scheduling a meet and greet and our dog seemed to take to her right away. She walked our dog several time throughout the day and gave several updates, including pictures. I would definitely recommend Kaitlyn and hope to book her for doggy day care again.”

About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. My best friend lives on my floor and we take walks with his dog every morning and evening so it’s very well incorporated in my schedule I make my place conducive for pets since I have one visit often. No cords laying around, vacuumed floors and room temperature thermostat. This also applies to client apartments

“Azar was great with the coqui! She’s so nice and easy to coordinate with. We met beforehand and it was clear she loves dogs, so I was comfortable with her caring for coqui. She sent some pics of him couch lounging and took him on a bunch of walks. I would definitely have him hang with her again.”

Damian W.
“Damian couldn’t be a better dog watcher. Our dog probably likes him more than us! He makes sure to get a ton of outdoor activities, keeps him in line and takes good care of him. Damian is super easy to communicate with - thoroughly recommend.”

Sofia W.
“Sofia has been fantastic all the way around with both of our dogs. She spent a lot of time with our older dog, Libby, before she passed. She was so patient with her, as by that time Libby was walking pretty slowly. She's equally great with our younger, more energetic Cora! She has great instincts with animals, and just seems to know how to handle both of our dogs. She is prompt and reliable. I wholeheartedly recommend her!”

Monica G.
“I met Monica during a walk with one of my timid and anxious foster dogs. My foster was usually fearful of strangers, but to my surprise, she immediately warmed up to Monica, something I had never seen before. Monica’s gentle presence and calm energy clearly made my dog feel safe, and it showed me that animals can truly sense when someone is a good person. Since then, I’ve confidently referred clients to Monica whenever I’m unavailable, and the feedback is always overwhelmingly positive. She’s incredibly responsible, attentive, and loving with animals. On top of that, she’s clear and transparent in her communication, always asking great questions to make sure nothing gets missed or misunderstood. I trust her completely with any pet, and I know others will too.”

Gregory R.
“I relied on Greg to provide a safe and affectionate environment for almost two years before I moved to Southern California. My pup, Frankie, came from the shelter with a fear of men which made finding a pet sitter a challenge. I once asked my male neighbor to walk my dog as a favor, and he was afraid that my nutty little Spaniel was going to bite him! In contrast, Frankie never ever feared Greg, and that gave me peace of mind when I dropped him off. Greg was also cognizant of Frankie's sensitivities and took care to not expose him to fearful situations unnecessarily. Frankie loved going to Greg's -- even saying Greg's name around the house elicited ear perking and head tilting. Greg's dog, Theo, is a big lovebug and played well with Frankie, too. Greg is a dog lover of all sizes and will care for your fur baby like family. I never had to worry that my fur baby was going to miss his meals, his medication, or come home dirty or traumatized. If you are looking for a reliable and caring dog caregiver, I highly recommend Greg without any reservations.”

Hank S.
“Hank has always had a special bond with animals. As a family member, I've seen firsthand how loving, patient, and responsible he is with pets. He treats every animal with kindness and respect, making sure they feel safe and cared for. Whether it's walking, feeding, or just spending time with them, Hank gives his full attention. Any pet in his care is truly lucky. I fully trust him with my own pets and highly recommend him to others”

Stephan M.
“Stephan is a dog lover at heart. He is an attentive, reliable and compassionate dog-sitter who puts our pet's needs first. The love and attention goes both ways as our dog adores him as well. I know that with Stephan I do not need to worry about a thing!”

Kaitlyn C.

“Kaitlyn was great- responsive, flexible in scheduling a meet and greet and our dog seemed to take to her right away. She walked our dog several time throughout the day and gave several updates, including pictures. I would definitely recommend Kaitlyn and hope to book her for doggy day care again.”

Chukwuebuka E.
“I have known Chukwuebula for over a decade, and in all that time, he has always been amazing with pets. I have known him to volunteer to walk dogs from pet shelters and to pet-sit for friends. If there is anyone to trust with my pets, he would be the first one I turn to.”
