I have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets through both professional work and private pet-sitting. I currently work part-time for a pet boarding company where I walk dogs, supervise playtime, and help with daily care like feeding and cleaning. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also completed many overnight pet-sitting and house-sitting stays in clients’ homes. I focus on keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, and I always treat clients’ homes with the same care and respect as my own. I’m experienced caring for pets with special needs, from senior dogs on oral medications to administering insulin injections for diabetic cats. I also send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m an animal lover and I have two kitties of my own. I’ve been volunteering with animals at the Oakland Zoo and the East Bay SPCA.

I care for pets in clients’ homes usually by staying overnight and sleeping with them. I play and hang out with the pups or kitties while i’m there to give them attention and keep em happy while their parents are gone. I take dogs on walks couple times a day and clean litter boxes for cats too if the client doesn’t need live in overnight sitting. I can also always play with the dogs outside in backyards during short potty breaks if the client prefers not to have the dogs taken on walks. I always make sure to leave the house just as clean as it was when beginning the job.

Thomas was great with our boy Hercules! We booked him super last minute so we really appreciated his flexibility in navigating that and showing up when we needed him. Hercules had a blast with him too! We will be rebooking with Thomas - highly recommend!
Thomas was amazing with our big lab! They went to the dog park which was above my expectation. Our pup came back happy and tuckered out. Will definitely book with Thomas again.

Honestly there’s nothing I can say to convey how wonderful and at ease our dog was with him. He was attentive to our fur baby and treated him like we would. It was nice to enjoy our night out and not have to worry about our dog because we knew that Thomas was everything and more than we can ask for in a dog sitter. Our fur baby was truly in good hands.

Schedule
Pet care is a large part of my day. I have two cats at home who need lots of love and attention. I also work part time at a boarding business with dogs and cats about three days a week. I love animals and love to hang out with them in my free time daily. O’ always excited to be there for sad fur babies who miss their parents. It’s super rewarding!
