I have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets through both professional work and private pet-sitting. I currently work part-time for a pet boarding company where I walk dogs, supervise playtime, and help with daily care like feeding and cleaning. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve completed many house-sitting stays in clients’ homes but have been transitioning to boarding more now that I have a bigger place. I focus on keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, and I always treat clients’ homes with the same care and respect as my own. I’m experienced caring for pets with special needs, from senior dogs on oral medications to administering insulin injections for diabetic cats. I also send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m an animal lover and I have two kitties of my own. I’ve been volunteering with animals at the Oakland Zoo and the East Bay SPCA.

Tommy is a great dog sitter, I've rebooked with him many times. He's easy to work with, very responsive, and takes great care of my dog. Bruce always comes home tuckered out from a fun day with Uncle Tommy. 10/10 highly recommended trusting him for all your pet care needs, he's the best.

We are so grateful we found Tommy! He stayed overnight to take care of our 2 kitties and pup. One of our cats has a lot of health conditions, and it's a bit of a complicated routine. Tommy was able to give insulin and multiple medications during the stay. He was an excellent communicator and we felt safe knowing he was with our babies.
Extremely fast responses, and took really good care of Taco. I got a lot of photos and videos through the day which was amazing, and Taco was happy to see him the next time which is always a good sign. 10/10 would recommend.
Thomas was amazing with my girls! Fast response, flexible with drop-off and pick-up, and my favorite part, lots of updates, pictures, and videos! They went on tons of trips and walks and had a blast. I got back two tired, happy puppies! I would trust Thomas with my pups anytime and will definitely be booking for my next vacation!
Thomas sent great pics of my dog and I could tell she was so happy and having a blast! Will be using him again!

Schedule
Pet care is a large part of my day. I have two cats at home who need lots of love and attention. I also work part time at a boarding business with dogs and cats about three days a week. I love animals and love to hang out with them in my free time daily. O’ always excited to be there for sad fur babies who miss their parents. It’s super rewarding!

I care for pets usually by staying overnight in clients’ homes as well as by boarding at my place. I play and hang out with the pups or kitties to give them attention and keep em happy while their parents are gone. I take dogs on walks couple times a day and clean litter boxes for cats too if the client doesn’t need live in overnight sitting. I can also always play with the dogs outside in backyards during short potty breaks if the client prefers not to have the dogs taken on walks. I always make sure to leave the house just as clean as it was when beginning the job.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks around the town to see the people and other pups walking by. I like playing tug of war or fetch with dogs; in my experience every dog loves at least one of those activities. With the owner’s permission, I love taking dogs to enclosed dog parks where they can run around off leash and socialize with other dogs. For kitties i’ll play with them with wand toys to keep em stimulated and give em lots of love.

I’m experienced in insulin injections on cats as well as oral medication. I’ve worked with many tripods as well as one eyed pups who love to play fetch.
