🐾 I’m Sara (she/her), a full-time dog walker + sitter in West Alameda specializing in shy + senior littles. 🦄 As a neurodivergent and highly sensitive being, my approach with dogs is intuitive, gentle, patient, and compassionate. I live a quiet lifestyle in an apartment and neighborhood that cater beautifully to shy + older canines. I provide individualized care and work with just a few dogs at a time to maintain a calm, peaceful vibe. 🐶 Soba, my own chihuahua/jack russell boy, is sensitive and bashful like most of my pack. He’s a funny, confident, and playful dude when he feels safe. He makes a great co-host and enjoys being around other little buddies his size, as well as a few larger friends who are gentle.

Sara is an amazing small dog whisperer! Bo has her own vacation when going to Sara's. She's great with communication and so kind. I will definitely use Sara in the future when I have pet sitting needs. She's always my #1 go to pet sitter :)

- WALKS & DROP-INS: flexible hours, please just ask 🙂 - DAYCARE: up to 8 consecutive hours of care between 8 AM & 6 PM - BOARDING: drop-off + pick-up take place between 8 AM & 6 PM

🏝️ I live in a quiet, dog-friendly apartment complex just a few blocks from the water. I run my business with transparency, integrity, experience, and SO MUCH LOVE! Dog sitting is not a side hustle for me, it's my dream, my joy, and my livelihood. It is an honor to build trust with clients, providing safety and peace of mind for both dogs and humans. Parents receive quick responses and regular updates from me, including lots of great photos. 👉🏾 Please note that I do NOT have a car because driving overstimulates my nervous system. I work around this by having emergency plans in place. ⭐️ Here are some key safety precautions I take: - having pet first aid + CPR training - carefully assessing and vetting all dogs in my care - being fully insured with Pet Sitters Associates - closely monitoring dogs’ energy and body language - being an ongoing student of dog psychology - using properly fitting gear + non-retractable leashes - being an alert, vigilant, and proactive guardian - separating dogs during meal time

A typical day
☀️ Whether you're leaving home for several days or just a few hours, your little family member deserves to have a peaceful time while you’re away! All of my dogs are well cared for with individualized care, including walks along the bay, enrichment, affection, gentle socialization, play, grooming, and a variety of other love languages. Outdoor excursions are mellow and inclusive. Special needs and senior littles get to hitch a ride around in my cozy sling. I also have a sunny balcony where Soba and his friends like to hang out - it's a sweet, quiet place to relax, smell the breeze, sunbathe, nap, and just enjoy being a dog.
