I always want to set eyes on them at least once a drop by, but I make sure they don't feel like they need to come out of hiding spots into "unsafe environments".

I am very physically active and if needed, can push your four legged friend to keep them happy and in shape! Leisurely walks are also lovely. I do not have any pets of my own right now so I really cherish any animal time I get. I can accommodate your scheduling needs as I work part time for a nonprofit and have flexibility in my schedule. I prefer to schedule further in advance for repeat walks, but am able to do last minute arrangements as well! I am responsive and in tune to the needs of your pet whether that be frequent time outside, variation in play or rest time and making sure they are comfortable at bedtime. I know that animals respond to energy and vice versa so I keep a calm energy around animals. It's really important to me to learn as much about your pet from you so I can be prepared to care for them.

About: I’ve always had a natural connection with dogs, and something I hear a lot is I somehow bond with every pup I meet. I’m really good at picking up on how dogs are feeling, which helps me create a relaxed and comfortable vibe for them. About: *I only board pets from one home at a time and do not own any pets myself!* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

He was a three legged trip that was my ride pr die for 8 years. Since his passing I have leaned into dog walking and dog sitting for others while the grief moves in waves. Point Isabel is one of my favorite places if your pup is an off leasher! Otherwise I love neighborhood walks where we can explore and smell and admire the flowers and discover birds of your area. I have experience with basic training, administering meds, and observing your pup to see what they are telling me they need. I work from home and can be somewhat of a house cat myself if I'm not out for walks with pepperonis. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet's needs. I can accommodate last minute booking so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I know what it’s like to be a pet parent so I will treat your pet and home as my own. I will make sure to check all the boxes like refilling water, feedings, sharing snacks and giving medications, or cleaning/refreshing the litter box for kitties.

This is the longest I have been out of town in a while and I wanted Solo to be in a comfortable and secure place and with people that will look after her as if she was their own. “I’m so glad to have found Hy and Arlo! My dog Neko can be shy with new people and reactive toward other dogs, so I was nervous about leaving her with a dog sitter. Hy met with us in advance and was extremely patient and understanding of Neko’s issues. She understood the need to keep Neko away from other dogs and was so gentle and sweet with her. She was great at communicating and sent plenty of pictures and updates during Neko’s stay. I’m planning to leave Neko with them again this summer and know she will be in good hands!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and kittens my whole life and continued adopting them as an adult — animals have always been at the heart of my home! I’ve raised and trained a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for up to 3 medium-sized dogs at a time, and have experience housing and caring for rabbits, birds, and reptiles too. 🐶🐱🐰🦜🐸🦎 Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll be treated like family! I’m also a pet parent myself — my 1-year-old pup and 9-year-old cat are both incredibly friendly with people and other animals and absolutely love making new friends. About: Grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, old and young and love to hang out and care for them, I also have a spacious yard and time to walk with them I am a mma fighter and a wrestling coach I’m free all day Sundays and weekdays after 12, Saturdays I’m normally busy but this isn’t always the case I have a safe home all food is locked up so they can’t get into anything they shouldn’t, my yard is fenced and secure so they shouldn’t be able to run off

“We have only left Koba with family or one other sitter so when she told me she would be out of town I was worried about finding another sitter but we got lucky with Mike! We liked that he seemed to understand bully breeds and instantly felt at ease after the meet and greet. Mike kept us updated throughout the day with lots of videos and photos of all their little adventures around scenic SF areas. Koba definitely looked like he was having a blast. He was a little anxious/restless the first night but Mike was super understanding.
