I have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and routines, and I consider myself well-prepared to handle a variety of situations. I’m highly communicative, proactive, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I always strive to go the extra mile for my clients, making sure both pets and their people feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. This work brings me a great deal of joy, and I genuinely love getting to know and care for each animal.

Maia was wonderful with Mishka. I can tell she is very thorough and took great care of him. She also sent me updates and lots of pics everyday without me asking for them first. I know Mishka was in good hands with her and will def use her again. She’s also very flexible with drop off and pick up and has great communication.
Maia was great! She made time to meet Stella beforehand, learn about her quirks, and introduce her slowly to her doc. She walked stella multiple times a day and was very responsive to questions and sent pictures. we'd definitely have stella stay with Maia again!
Maia was a wonderful sitter - super communicative and caring! She sent multiple updates and photos while we were away and went way above and beyond in making sure Lula had enough exercise and playtime! I highly recommend her!

I can't recommend Maia enough! She’s a wonderful communicator who keeps you in the loop and isn’t afraid to ask questions. She’s always punctual, reliable, and can handle dogs of any size with ease. She truly goes the extra mile! She has watched my 2 dogs many times when I was out of town and I always feel at ease knowing my boys are in good hands! Not only is she great with my pets, but also very respectful of my home. Maia always leaves my house as clean or cleaner than when she arrived. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!
Maia took wonderful care of our house and our two golden retrievers, Nova and Rue, while we were traveling in Europe for two weeks. She walked them every day without fail and kept them right on their feeding schedule, which gave us so much peace of mind being so far away. She sent regular updates and photos, so we always knew the dogs were happy and well cared for. She was also great about keeping the house tidy and handling everything responsibly while we were gone. We came home to two happy, healthy dogs and a house exactly as we left it. I'd trust Maia with our pets again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to any pet parent.

Schedule
I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week and travel across the Bay Area for in-home sits. Pets are also welcome to stay with me at my Emeryville loft. I have an 8-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix who is friendly with most animals and mostly keeps to himself.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize regular walks, play, enrichment, and plenty of affection throughout the day. When caring for dogs in their home, I aim for 2–3 walks daily on safe, familiar routes; there is also a dog park directly across from my loft if that’s a good fit for the dog. I follow each client’s care instructions closely, communicate proactively if questions come up, and keep clients updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
