We are cat-friendly and highly experienced with large breeds (up to 80lbs). From cozy naps to gourmet treats, we provide a safe, fun, and delicious home away from home! • Morning: A refreshing walk around Oakland followed by breakfast. • Mid-day: High energy fun at the dog park with plenty of fetch and ball play. • Afternoon: Nap time! We both grew up in households our whole lives caring for pups of all sizes from energetic German Shepherds, playful Shitzus, and sweet Golden Retrievers! Edelis works downtown Tuesday through Friday from 9–5 as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and I work from home a standard 9–5 schedule at a tech company as a Monetization Strategy Manager. Your pup’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We live in a clean, non-smoking, dog-friendly one-bedroom apartment with a private outdoor patio. Our home is very tidy, pet-safe, and stays comfortable year round with AC and heating. We’re right across from Patricia’s Green dog park and just a 10-minute walk to Alamo Square Park, so daily walks and park time are part of the routine. We also have a car for transportation including any pet emergencies or vet visits if ever needed. Whether we’re caring for dogs in our home or yours, we follow your pup’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep things consistent. About: My family’s had 2 Havanese dogs a little over 3 years now and I take care of them regularly when they go out for the night or leave town. In addition I occasionally sit for family friends who have a Yorkie and used to watch a neighbor’s cat when she was still with us. Most animals find me agreeable and I try to be consistent and loving with any younger ones so that they’re shaped into the best possible pets. I’ve recently left my long-term job to focus on watching/walking pets. I do some gig work to make ends meet but my main passion right now is animal care. I have a spacious loft apartment in Chinatown Oakland in a very safe neighborhood just a few minutes walk from Lake Merritt. Crating (with one provided for me) in the apartment is an option as well as my sectional couch or rug depending on your animal’s preferences.

Courtney's experience with all kinds of dogs, plus being kind and firm at the same time worked wonders for my high energy beagle pup. Taylor is an absolute godsend! As well as her husband Kevin. She takes care of Kahlo weekly when I go to work and I am able to relax knowing Kahlo is in the best hands. I went on my first trip recently and Kahlo stayed with Taylor and Kevin for several days. Being a new dog mom, meant I had overwhelming anxiety leaving on my first trip and was so worried about leaving my dog convinced she would have serious separation anxiety. Well, I was totally wrong. LOL. I am honestly not sure that Kahlo wanted to leave. She had the best time and enjoyed all the attention she was spoiled with during her stay. Taylor was so sweet and sent me so many updates and pictures throughout her stay. She even printed a keepsake of pictures from her stay that I now have in my home. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away. It has been a true blessing finding Taylor. She is kind, communicative, and treats your dog as her own. Thank you Taylor and Kevin for being so awesome ❤️! Truly Grateful.
Julia was a lifesaver! Requested her on short notice. Late at night, with technical issues delaying the booking and no backup options. She was super patient. Walked me through the process, asked insightful questions about our dog, and was so kind. Our pup loved her time with Julia and we will Definitely book her again, and recommend her to everyone we know. So lucky to have found someone who loves pets so much, wirh an awesome location and willingness to help!
She was amazing! Very responsive and kind. I can tell that she is calm and gentle with animals. My dog Lilo had an amazing time spending the day with her and came home exhausted both times. They had a lot of fun together, and Lilo was very well taken care of. I highly recommend her!

Jeremy gave so much focused attention to my Beagle Simon! Jeremy went above and beyond to take him on potty breaks and find the best toys for Simon to play with. After pickup, when we got into the car and all the way home Simon was smiling way more than normal—says it all, 5 stars!
