Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Certified | Aversive Free | Insured Pet Care Professional New to the app but I’ve been caring for friends’ pets for the last 15 years. I am a full time pet care provider with around the clock availability. I am able to provide overnight supervision of your pet(s) via housesitting bookings or up to three drop-ins/walks per client throughout the day. First time clients, please provide your pet’s vaccination records. I must receive vaccine confirmation prior to any physical contact with your pet. Additionally, all introductions to dogs must take place outside of the home to allow for decompression/emotional regulation time and to gauge comfort/trust levels before entering their home. If you employ aversive methods and/or equipment against your pet I cannot accept your request for pet care services. I kindly ask that you seek services from an alternate care provider, thank you. For the time being I only offer services based in clients’ homes as I have two large dogs in my home. In the future for long term dog care clients, we can explore day care or play dates once trust is established for everyone involved. Until then, I am happy to provide one on one time and undivided attention for your cats and dogs while you are away.

About: I've been a cat owner for most of my life. For my cat's final years, I dutifully managed her medications and special dietary needs to ensure she stayed healthy as long as possible. As such, I have great empathy for older and sick pets and am comfortable administering oral meds or even IV fluids for cats and small dogs. I am a software dev and work from home usually, so I can easily move locations especially for long term pet or house sitting. Happy to accommodate overnight and weekend stays. As mentioned, I cared for a sick cat for several years; I also help take care of a roommate's cat by ensuring he has clean water at all times, playing with him frequently, and feeding him his dinner when my roommate is away. I always have one ear open for keeping track of pets nearby, even when not on the clock. I am a strong communicator and prefer to keep in touch or ask questions rather than let something go misunderstood.

About: I have a flexible schedule and am booking dog walks and drop-ins! I can accommodate for whether your dog likes more activity or needs a quiet and calm environment. I have experience dealing with dogs and other animals with anxiety and other medical or physical needs. I work from home at my own pace so I can accommodate different needs! Ideally, pet guests can be left at home alone for about an hour for errands and other events that come up. Please provide a crate if your dog cannot be left alone for over an hour. My home is responsible and dog safe with gates to prevent access to the kitchen. My yard is not fenced but I always keep dogs leashed.

About: I have my doctorate in clinical psychology and love animals. I am not allowed to have my own pet so I love to pet sit! I am currently transitioning from internship to post doc and have a lot of time on my hands. Flexible in scheduling and happy to help when needed! About: *I only board pets from one home at a time and do not own any pets myself!* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

About: I've had the privilege of taking care of many pets growing up; fish, a hamster, guinea pigs, and now my cat. If an animal is staying in my home during the day, I have a fenced-in, locked yard (though I generally wouldn't have an animal outside without me) and there is also a dog-friendly park less than two blocks from my home.
