“Fuliang did a great job. I felt my cat Alba was well cared for. I got a nice detailed report on the last day. Could have used a picture of my cat everyday but otherwise I am a very satisfied customer and will use this sitter again for my pet sitting needs.”

About: Choosing a pet sitter can be stressful, but with my background, you can finally relax. I offer more than just walks and playtime—I provide veterinary-level peace of mind. For over 15 years, I worked as a Veterinary Technician, honing my skills at some of the most respected animal hospitals throughout San Francisco. My clinical experience is vast, and I am proficient in everything from medication administration to monitoring post-operative patients. On top of that, I have unique hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of species gained during my time at the San Francisco Zoo. What this means for you: Safety First: I am highly trained to recognize and respond to potential medical issues quickly. Specialized Experience: Need someone comfortable with insulin injections, sub-Q fluids, or complicated medication schedules? I’ve got it covered. All Creatures Welcome: While I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, my love doesn't stop there. I am highly comfortable and experienced in caring for your pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters) and even snakes and fish. My mission is simple: to provide reliable, compassionate, and expert care so your pets feel secure and happy while you are away. I currently work from home part-time doing administrative work for a leading veterinary company as I transition from in clinic work to pet-care full time. I'm available most of the day to assist with your pet's care. Whether in your home or my home, your pet will be cared for like they're my own. I will give each pet the chance to get to know me, as well to get to know them, so our bond will become as close as it is with you.

I adjust to each dog’s energy level, whether they prefer an active outing or a more relaxed pace. I’m organized, communicative, and reliable. You can expect clear updates and photos so you feel informed and at ease. I treat every pet with patience, love and respect, and I’m committed to providing dependable care you can trust.

I am able to play with and walk them regularly and can accommodate to whatever special care they need. I work a hybrid 9-5 job and am usually available on the weekends for pet care. Mid-week arrangements may be accepted if discussed in advance so I can schedule my “work from home” days to accommodate. I live in condo complex that has a closed off large courtyard. My home has animal friendly plants, and unfriendly plants kept out of reach.
“Stephanie was very kind and attentive to our cat needs despite him being quite shy, he still managed to show furr. Communication was great and house and cat in good condition upon return!”

Currently a dog dad to an 11-year-old cattle dog mix named Mia who brings joy to my life! Will treat your dog with the care I give my own. About: I grew up with a dog, bird, and rabbit and this has always made me comfortable around animals while being patient when they make lots of messes (no need to go into detail here). I have experience with dogs with special needs (grew up with a handicapped daschund. I'm gentle and loving towards animals of all kinds. I have a Pup named Denali and been raising her for 4 years. She's my joy each and every day! I work from home with flexible hours so I'm available for pet-sitting, drop-ins walks, runs, and health checks. I also enjoy walks during all parts of the day (definitely need it when WFH). In client's and my own home, I always ensure there's food and water, good air circulation and clean floors to avoid pets getting injured or accidentally eating inedibles. I make sure pets are kept on a leash when in open spaces outdoors and have a safe and comfortable environment (no loud music, no sudden movements, lots of petting). I can accommodate to nearly any specific or special requests!
About: Hi! I’m Alejandra! I’m a WFH dog mom based in downtown Oakland who treats every dog as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone else, so I care for each pup the same way I’d want my own dog cared for: with love, patience, and attention. Because I work from home, your dog will get plenty of supervision, cuddles, and a calm, home-style environment. I love staying in touch with pet parents and regularly send photo and video updates so you always know how your dog is doing. While I don’t have a private yard, I live in a dog-friendly building with a secure, fenced dog park, and I take dogs out frequently for walks and supervised play (with owner approval). My goal is for both you and your dog to feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away, and I’m always happy to schedule a meet & greet 🐾 **For house-sitting/dog walking/check in bookings, I come alone — I do not bring my dog with me. This allows your pup to stay in their own familiar space with my full attention and care I’m home most of the day and already structure my routine around caring for my own dog. Pet care fits naturally into my day with regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of supervision and attention I provide a calm, loving home environment and follow each dog’s routine closely. I focus on safety, supervision, positive reinforcement, and making every dog feel comfortable and cared for. My apartment building has it's own private dog park we can safely enjoy as well, I have my own dog at home, so I’m careful about slow introductions and only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs.
“Jesse was so kind to accommodate for my last minute booking. He made sure my pup was taken care of and is a very considerate sitter! Appreciate the regular updates and flexibility. Will definitely recommend him for any future bookings.”

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).
“Jessica went above and beyond in caring for my rambunctious cat while I was out of town. My cat doesn’t always like people but he loved her right away and Jessica did such a wonderful job sending photos and updates. When I came home I could tell that my baby was well taken care of. I cannot recommend Jessica enough!”

About: I have experience in providing care to both cats and dogs of friends, family members, neighbors and colleagues. I can provide boarding, house sitting, or drop ins for cats. For dogs, I can provide house sitting and drop ins, but no boarding. I work from home, so I’m home all day most of the day. My workload is light enough that I can be present for fur babies under my care throughout the day. I like to chat with pet parents to learn about their personality and behaviors. I can provide feedings, changing water and litter boxes, playing with and entertaining, and giving lots of rubs and cuddles to your fur baby when they’re under my care.

About: *Lady K's Doggie Lounge* I'm a fulltime doggie daycare and boarding provider. *I never leave pups unattended* Animals have always been a part of my family and lifestyle. In addition to dogs, cats, and birds, I've been a parent to rabbits, hamsters, livestock and reptiles. I'm also a mother of two over the age of 35. I'm the go-to person for the care of their dogs, as well for other members of my family's pets when they are in town. I have a 13 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix, (Sir Prince) that loves meeting new friends. So while in my care, your baby will have my constant attention, and personalized detailed care, as if he or she were my own. I also believe in providing my clients a peace of mind while away from their bundles of joy. I know how stressful it can sometimes be. You are welcome to bring a Kennel for your furbaby if they are use to using one. In my experience, they are helpful during feeding times and when personal space is needed. Sometimes they provide a bit more comfort to them when in an unfamiliar place. But for the most part, all pups have the freedom to roam as they wish. My specialty is in-house pet care, but taking the babies for walks is always possible. I provide homestyle daycare and boarding 24/7. Pups will never be left unattended. Lady K's Doggie Lounge and my clients are top priority for me. I offer a calm, free to roam environment. Kennels are only used for feedings and sleeping if needed. I can and will maintain your pets current schedule/ routine if necessary.

About: I've grown up with multiple dogs and am now happy to have my own little corgi-terrier named Karl and a black cat named Billie. I'm my friend's go-to pet sitter and have been loving getting to know the other dogs in the neighborhood. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, large dogs, and reactive dogs. I am available in the evenings on week days and anytime weekends. Please do not book recurring walks if they need to occur earlier on weekdays. I also work as a para educator, so my schedule is flexible, but I will be unavailable for up to 9 hours at a time. Pet care and safety is very important to me. My own dog has very high needs and requires a lot of attention and care, especially on walks, so I completely understand all the peculiar needs of all pets and their individual personalities.

love Cindy. We always book with her and her partner. I have three big, crazy dogs haha so I am always nervous to leave them with people but Cindy puts me at ease:) They are quick to respond and send lots of updates with photos, I never have to worry when I’m traveling which is such a great feeling!!

Sheralynn was great! She arrived early/on time and followed all the directions to go inside and leave the house. She let me know when she arrived and send updates and pictures throughout her visit with Titus and Max. Max, who has a little nervous energy with even me at times, was fully engaged the whole visit and gave Sheralynn leg rubs when she was leaving. Both cats had a great time! When I got home I could tell they were more relaxed having had a nice engagement and play sesh with Sheralynn. I couldn't be more happy and appreciative. Thank you!

Alienna is fantastic! She feeds my cats three days a week and is incredibly consistent and dependable. She’s always on time, sends photos every visit, and does exactly what I ask. She’s also very flexible and genuinely caring with my pets. I feel completely at ease knowing she’s taking care of them. I couldn’t ask for a better Rover sitter!

I’ve used Ashley twice now to care for my lil boy when I’ve been away from home and she’s phenomenal! Knowing someone cares for my boy and loves him like I would helps my anxiety leaving him for a week. I can’t recommend her enough to check in on your fur baby. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future when I need to leave my boy with someone I can trust. ❤️
