About: I’ve taken care of of dogs since I was about 7, I’ve owned two as a child growing up. As an adult I spent most of my years as a single soldier as a mechanic and many of my coworkers need it sitters for a variety of dogs that I was always happy to assist with. Currently I’m a full time student working on my degree in audio design. I typically have classes twice a week with one online. On the weekends I dj Saturday nights 9-1am. I’m a very active person I run 2 miles to the gym at 6am 5 times a week and walk back after my workout. I’m a 16 year military veteran and have a lot of past experience with helping raise, walk and watch a variety of different animals while I was single and on active duty so now that I have more time on my hands it would be a great way to stay active throughout the week! I typically don’t keep animals at my home, but in other people’s home I always like to be introduced to the pet by the owner and have a very in depth overview of the things their animals absolutely do not like. After that I really like to know the owners worries and what things they need in terms of communication to keep them comfortable. As for the interaction I definitely want to be slow with the pet has any sort of anxiety but I love to give them lots of attention weather that’s to play with them talk to them or let them get comfortable by sitting on my lap or holding them.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure the pet feels comfortable by keeping their routine as normal as possible. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions provided. I enjoy interacting and playing with animals, whether that means walks, trips to the park, or indoor playtime. At the same time, I understand that every pet has different comfort levels, so I make sure to respect their space and let them approach interaction at their own pace. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have work with dogs my entire life, but currently I run a small dog daycare/boarding facility at my home with my husband so our sole focus is caring for our pups and we will happily give your pup all our love and attention! I’m responsible, respectful and very organized which allows us to run a safe and stable home environment for each one of our dogs. I’m available daily for dog walks, daycare and/or boarding. My current small daycare group is about 3-5 regular dogs that come on different weekdays. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards for extra safety. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walk or boarding and I currently run a small group dog daycare in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes extremely well socialized dogs of all sizes most of which are between 3 and 6 years old. It’s a great environment for a dog to build social skills and confidence in a calm, well adjusted pack. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since my teenage years. In the last decade, I have been the go to person in my community to dog sit and walk dogs due to my flexible performer and chef schedule, and in the last couple of years, I have also supported some of my loved ones senior dogs who have since transitioned. About: I‘ve rescued, fostered and placed animals from different species in homes since 11 years ago. It all started with my soul dog who made me get into dog training and ethology. More animals came into my life and continued to taught me how to properly take care for disabled and senior animals who had terminal cancer, seizures, and mobility issues. As well as different species of animals that urgently needed veterinary care and new homes like bearded dragons, turtles, rats, chickens, cows and fish. I‘m surrounded by a community of animal rescuers who have taught me a lot on how to help more animals and educate the public about their needs and challenges. It‘s very important for pet parents to leave their animals at the hands of people who understand that these pets are family members and each of them is unique and deserves to be given the best care and life possible. I‘m currently available most days of the week, and trying to get consistent pups that I can take on adventures with others at least twice a week. I‘m also available for boarding and house sitting. I train tuesdays-fridays at night for an hour. I like to do multiple walks and exercise at selected parks around berkeley and oakland. I live in a 1b-1ba apartment with a big cemented balcony in an apartment building. All my windows and balcony door have a screen. My door goes to a carpeted hallway with other apartments so there‘s no possibility of escaping accidents. I also have a 360 camera at my apartment which I use for monitoring.
