About: Hi! I’m Courtney, and I love dogs and have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds from Chihuahuas to Pit bull terriers to Great Danes. I have worked for humane societies for years walking shelter dogs and helping with basic training and grooming, so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes including strong, highly active dogs that require an experienced controlled dog walker/sitter. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. I currently run a small daycare at my home with my husband so we work from home and have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! I’m responsible and respectful, as well as, punctual, and will happily give your pup all my love and attention! I’m available daily for dog walks and boarding and My current small group is about 3-5 regular dogs that come on different weekdays for doggie daycare. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards for extra safety. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walks but I do run a doggie daycare (max 5 dogs per day) in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes dogs ranging from 15 - 85 pounds and almost all the dogs are between 4 and 6 years old. I also offer boarding for up to 2 dogs per night. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

I’m also experienced with taking care of small pets including chinchilla and guinea pig. About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

About: I live in a big house in West Oakland with a backyard and I have a tiny elderly service animal who is usually held in a sling or pouch on my person. :) Will treat your pup/cat/loved one like one of my family! love to exercise and go for runs and walks so I hope your dog loves to enjoy the sun and get some "W's" in :) For the kitties, I love to give them their space and once we build that trust, cuddle or play with them in the ways they like! Plenty of trails nearby to where I live and love to adventure with portable waterbowl and doggy treats/bags for the pups! I love all animals and have watched/cared for so many cats and dogs in my life and each one I’ve loved meeting and learning them. Having my tiny elderly dog for 8 years has taught me so much about being a great and attentive parent to a furry baby. Words can’t describe the bond I feel with my pup and I assume that as I watch/care for your animal, that you cherish them as well. I will pamper your pet/animal and make sure they have everything they need/want that you give permission for them to experience as well :) I have skills in training puppies and senior care. Can’t wait to meet your loved one and care for them like you/family would <3 My weekly routine consists of being active and outside if caring for a dog that is active and needing to be outside as well. For dogs, I make sure that we are getting stimulation outside for what feels appropriate for their needs. Love having fun with them in whatever ways they love! For cats, I like learning about each one as some stay indoors and would want to care for them in how they need and want to be cared for. I can be indoors with them except out for a little for my own outside needs, but otherwise can hang out with them indoors for what they need. I have a fenced yard and can crate your dog if needed and also can allow dogs indoors if potty trained. For cats, they can be indoors if they have a litter box that goes with them. For inside your home, happy to cuddle with them and play with them with the toys they like. Happy to go on walks with your animal if they enjoy walks and always leave areas in parents’ homes cleaner than how I found them.

About: I will care and love for your dog just as much as you do. I've done occasional dog sitting over the last couple of years, and I always have such a great time with the dogs that I care for. I'm often called a dog whisperer because most dogs just gravitate towards me. I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment so having the opportunity to care for yours would be amazing. I love the pureness, and sincerity of a dog's character. I understand that your pet is family, and I will always treat them as such, their care is of the utmost importance to me. (However ,for the time being I can provide part-time care for your loved one )

About: I have taken care of 13 puppies at a time in high school, managed senior pet care with my own pets and those I have boarded for family, and I have taken care of my husband’s hunting dogs who are not neutered or spayed. I am confident I can care for your fur baby!! My schedule is pretty open right now while I am continuing my nursing degree online. I have open availability, so I am confident I can help meet your pet’s needs! I have a guest room available that can be used to board pets as needed. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood with lots of grass and areas for your pet to explore! I am also available to do drop in’s at your home to take care of your babies!
