About: I have work with dogs my entire life, but currently I run a small dog daycare/boarding facility at my home with my husband so our sole focus is caring for our pups and we will happily give your pup all our love and attention! I’m responsible, respectful and very organized which allows us to run a safe and stable home environment for each one of our dogs. I’m available daily for dog walks, daycare and/or boarding. My current small daycare group is about 3-5 regular dogs that come on different weekdays. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards for extra safety. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walk or boarding and I currently run a small group dog daycare in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes extremely well socialized dogs of all sizes most of which are between 3 and 6 years old. It’s a great environment for a dog to build social skills and confidence in a calm, well adjusted pack. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

About: Ive lived with dogs for 20 years and know well their needs and how they act. I dogsit and walk dogs and cats from family and friends. Currently ive gotten interested in pursuing working with animals, so im very motivated to learn to handle and care for animals the best way possible. The times i would be able to walk and care for your pets are: Tuesday after 12, Wednesday morning before 1, and all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. When taking care of dogs, i will be home most of the time and take them on walks suiting their energy levels. I have a good sized fenced backyard and front yard for dogs to roam in. I've been around pups my whole life: walks, sits, feedings, bath time, you name it. Friends, family, neighbors have all trusted me with their fur babies, and I take that seriously. But also I make it really fun. Here's what makes me a little different: I follow the dog's lead. Some pups want a big adventure. Others want a slow sniff-everything kind of walk (honestly iconic). On our walks, they pick the route. I'm just happy to be invited. I also put together little enrichment activities because a stimulated dog is a happy dog, and yes, I talk to them like they understand everything I'm saying, because they do. I'm a big dog park person too, but I'm picky about it in the best way. I stick to parks where I already know the people and the dogs, so I know exactly what kind of environment your pup is walking into. No surprises, just good socialization with faces I trust. When your dog stays with me, they get a whole day tailored to their vibe: cozy, active, or somewhere in between. And you? You'll get so many photo and video updates you might actually forget you miss them. Might. At home I live with Totó, my shichihuahua who is fully convinced he runs this household (he does). He's taught me everything about big personality in a small body, and he's an excellent host. I have a special soft spot for senior dogs. I know how to give them the patience, gentleness, and extra love they deserve. My clients always say the same two things: they got way more updates than they expected, and they finally felt okay leaving their dog with someone. That's the whole goal. 🐶 I work remotely, which means I'm home most of the day and genuinely available, no scrambling, no rushing. Midday walk? Morning sit? Last-minute check-in? I can make it work. Pet care isn't something I squeeze into my routine, it basically IS my routine. Your dog will never feel like an afterthought. Safety is everything to me, and so is making sure your pet actually enjoys their time. In your home, I follow your instructions closely, keep things clean and consistent, and make sure your pup always has water, food, and lots of love. On walks, I stick to routes and parks I know well, with dogs and people I already trust. No random off-leash situations, no surprises. At my place, it's calm, cozy, and very much a dog household (my Wi-Fi is literally called "House of Dogs"). Totó, my shichihuahua, is a great host as long as you respect that he's in charge.

About: Through my family, I have cared for a diverse range of pets. Small, medium, and large dogs, with ranging ages between 6 months old to 14 years old. I am happy to do any basic care for dogs, such as feeding, bathing, and playing. I am happy with taking most dogs out for walks, with the exception of highly energetic large dogs. About: I’ve had my husky mix kuro for 10 years and just recently got my baby cat loki! I absolutely love my babies, my main objective is for you to feel safe, comfortable and worry free while you’re away from your baby! Taking care of a husky mix and cat is a bit of a handful and definitely requires a lot of care and attention daily, luckily my roommate and best friend is there with me to watch and care for my babies when im busy! About: I have two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is a big part of my daily life. About: Hey there! I'm Matt. pleasure to make your acquaintance. I love taking care of and making dogs feel extra special. I’ve had plenty of experience with special needs dogs, senior dogs, and disabled dogs. I weight about 220lbs and I lift regularly so pullers don’t usually faze me much. I have my two husky mix girls, and I’ve always had dogs. I love taking care of dogs. My girls seem to especially love boy dogs. Of course I love taking care of peoples dogs. I prefer if you give me your guidance on how you’d like me to care for your baby. Dogs usually like routines. Some dogs only pee four times a day and other needs five or six times, so you tell me.

About: I’ve taken care of family’s and friends’ pets anywhere from puppies to older dogs, and also larger dogs like huskies. I respect every household’s rules for caring for their pets, and ensure the pets are safe, healthy, and happy! Currently at home full-time, so very flexible and open to caring for your pets when you need a break or have travel / social engagements! I can keep a crate in my home and live right on Lake Merritt with a large grass pasture just across the street by the lake where I would take dogs to. Walking around the lake/grass is a fan favorite!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a young child, my family always had at least one dog. I am comfortable with spending time with dogs, walking them, playing with them, and anything special care they may need! I’m currently a part time college student (I’m starting college later in life) so I have plenty of time to be able to visit and hang out with pets. I always make sure the cats’ needs come first, checking all doors and windows are secured, and that there are no hazards. I’m very calm and patient, whatever energy and mood the cat is in, that is what goes!
