“Evan did an excellent job of persuading my reticent, recently adopted two-year-old to take walks with him and return her to me looking happy. She has separation anxiety so it's quite an accomplishment. He's been a real help as I am laid up from a minor medical event. Evan is a gentle, dog-smart, dog-caring handler. I'm glad to have him on my team.”

“We feel like we hit the jackpot finding John to be our regular walker. He treats our dog just like we do (and talks to our dog just like we do too, which if you’re a pet owner, you know is the sign of a good caretaker). Our dog absolutely loves him and even though we unfortunately don’t need a daily walker right now, we are still asking John to keep walking our dog every week because we don’t want to lose him!”

About: I offer more than just pet sitting—I bring experience in basic obedience training and dog grooming, so your pup gets both love and structure while you’re away. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and needs, and I make sure to stick closely to your routine to keep them happy and comfortable. Whether it’s reinforcing good behavior, helping with leash manners, or giving a quick brush-out after playtime, I go the extra mile to provide top-quality, personalized care. I’m a full-time online student, so I’m home and available throughout the week. That makes it easy for me to give dogs plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I love fitting pet care into my daily routine, and your pup will always have company and care while they’re with me! In my home, I have my fur baby who will keep your fur baby company, I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe by giving them a cozy space, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I keep their routine as close to what they’re used to as possible, including feeding times and any special needs. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care—I follow their instructions closely, make sure pets have everything they need, and give them lots of love and company while their owner is away.
About: Hi! I’m Courtney, and I love dogs and have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds from Chihuahuas to Pit bull terriers to Great Danes. I have worked for humane societies for years walking shelter dogs and helping with basic training and grooming, so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes including strong, highly active dogs that require an experienced controlled dog walker/sitter. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. I currently run a small daycare at my home with my husband so we work from home and have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! I’m responsible and respectful, as well as, punctual, and will happily give your pup all my love and attention! I’m available daily for dog walks and boarding and My current small group is about 3-5 regular dogs that come on different weekdays for doggie daycare. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards for extra safety. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walks but I do run a doggie daycare (max 5 dogs per day) in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes dogs ranging from 15 - 85 pounds and almost all the dogs are between 4 and 6 years old. I also offer boarding for up to 2 dogs per night. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.
“Priscilla has been walking my pup for about two months now. She has some anxiety issues and hasn’t beeen warming up to dog walkers as she’s getting older. But this has changed with Priscilla. Sunny just adores her and it really gives me peace of mind while I’m at work. We’re so lucky to have her 🐾💕”

I have a flexible schedule and can usually accommodate your needs, stopping by to feed, play with, and care for your pets. I’m also available on weekends and holidays. I’m happy to care for your pets at your home, but I’m currently unable to host pets at mine due to having my own pets.
“Jazminn is great! Rilo has so much fun on her walks. I really appreciate how well Jazminn communicates. Her updates are helpful in that she lets me know if she and Rilo need anything for the walks. I really appreciate that. I feel very secure in knowing that my senior pup Rilo is in experienced hands.”

“Excellent service ! My pup came back super excited and tired out which is what I was expecting back, he did not potty for awhile which means he did all his business Through her walks, super excited that he found a new caring companion ! Can't wait to book with her again - I'm pretty sure he's more excited to see her than me at this point !!”
About: Growing up in a family that always had dogs, I’ve spent over seven years caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I raised my own corgi from puppyhood, which gave me a solid foundation in training, grooming, and understanding canine behavior. Over time, I’ve also cared for senior dogs who required medication, gentle exercise, and extra patience, as well as energetic puppies who needed structured play and consistent guidance. Clients often describe me as reliable, communicative, and attentive to every pet’s comfort. I regularly provide updates with photos and videos to help owners feel connected while they’re away. I’m also experienced with multi-pet households, including both dogs and cats, and I take pride in maintaining a calm and caring environment for all animals under my care. As a remote work with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.
About: I believe dogs and cats have a way of communicating, and I’ve learned to understand them deeply, creating a truly rewarding connection. I can read their subtle cues and know exactly what they need. I’m partially retired, and because I love dogs, caring for them fits perfectly into my daily routine. This opportunity allows me to spend quality time with your four-legged family member while helping you with their care on a temporary basis. I have owned my home for the last 20 years and have been an active member of my HOA board, even leading the security committee for several years—demonstrating my commitment to a safe, secure environment. Additionally, I rescued and cared for a 10-pound Pomeranian in my condo for six wonderful years, ensuring his well-being daily. These experiences reflect my dedication to responsible care and vigilance—qualities I bring to any dog walking service.
About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.
“Professional & good communication! Devyn asked lots of good questions on our meet-and-greet which set my mind at ease. Happy to have someone reliable for dog walking needs.”

About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. Calm, trust and safety are my top priorities. I hope you give me the chance to connect with you and your fur baby/ babies. I work from home. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. I have a fenced yard, Herita is spayed and loves to play with other dogs. Her bff is a 3 y/o Doberman. Which I take care of a couple of times a week (take her out on walks and feed her)
About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.
About: I live in a big house in West Oakland with a backyard and I have a tiny elderly service animal who is usually held in a sling or pouch on my person. :) Will treat your pup/cat/loved one like one of my family! love to exercise and go for runs and walks so I hope your dog loves to enjoy the sun and get some "W's" in :) For the kitties, I love to give them their space and once we build that trust, cuddle or play with them in the ways they like! Plenty of trails nearby to where I live and love to adventure with portable waterbowl and doggy treats/bags for the pups! I love all animals and have watched/cared for so many cats and dogs in my life and each one I’ve loved meeting and learning them. Having my tiny elderly dog for 8 years has taught me so much about being a great and attentive parent to a furry baby. Words can’t describe the bond I feel with my pup and I assume that as I watch/care for your animal, that you cherish them as well. I will pamper your pet/animal and make sure they have everything they need/want that you give permission for them to experience as well :) I have skills in training puppies and senior care. Can’t wait to meet your loved one and care for them like you/family would <3 My weekly routine consists of being active and outside if caring for a dog that is active and needing to be outside as well. For dogs, I make sure that we are getting stimulation outside for what feels appropriate for their needs. Love having fun with them in whatever ways they love! For cats, I like learning about each one as some stay indoors and would want to care for them in how they need and want to be cared for. I can be indoors with them except out for a little for my own outside needs, but otherwise can hang out with them indoors for what they need. I have a fenced yard and can crate your dog if needed and also can allow dogs indoors if potty trained. For cats, they can be indoors if they have a litter box that goes with them. For inside your home, happy to cuddle with them and play with them with the toys they like. Happy to go on walks with your animal if they enjoy walks and always leave areas in parents’ homes cleaner than how I found them.
About: I will care and love for your dog just as much as you do. I've done occasional dog sitting over the last couple of years, and I always have such a great time with the dogs that I care for. I'm often called a dog whisperer because most dogs just gravitate towards me. I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment so having the opportunity to care for yours would be amazing. I love the pureness, and sincerity of a dog's character. I understand that your pet is family, and I will always treat them as such, their care is of the utmost importance to me. (However ,for the time being I can provide part-time care for your loved one )

About: I have taken care of 13 puppies at a time in high school, managed senior pet care with my own pets and those I have boarded for family, and I have taken care of my husband’s hunting dogs who are not neutered or spayed. I am confident I can care for your fur baby!! My schedule is pretty open right now while I am continuing my nursing degree online. I have open availability, so I am confident I can help meet your pet’s needs! I have a guest room available that can be used to board pets as needed. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood with lots of grass and areas for your pet to explore! I am also available to do drop in’s at your home to take care of your babies! I have done this before for friends and family, so I feel confident being able to meet any specific needs your pet may have.
Prescott dog parents share their Rover experiences
Talissa is a great dog walker! Walking my Koa for the past month or so for a couple of days a week and Koa loves going on walks with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better person so caring and timely. Communication is absolutely amazing and I love the daily updates. Definitely recommended!

My favorite walker. Has come through for us time and time again. Even after long hiatuses of using Rover, we’ve been able to reach out to Jesse and get a timely response. And even if not available when we ask last second sometimes, he is responsible/reliable and we are usually able to work out future dates. Highly recommend.

Padraic is an exceptional dog walker—responsible, patient, dedicated, flexible, and completely trustworthy. Our almost 3-year-old dog is a rescued and very skittish pup who is incredibly sweet and affectionate but needs a lot of time to feel comfortable with new people and new surroundings. In the beginning, she barked at him constantly and hesitated during the first several walks, but Padraic never rushed her. With his calm, gentle, and friendly manner, he gradually earned her trust and helped her relax. Padraic consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our dog feels safe and comfortable, and he has always been accommodating to our needs. We feel very lucky to have found him. I highly recommend Padraic without hesitation, and we will absolutely be asking for his walking services again and again!

Zoe was flexible and despite a hiccup in our initial meet and greet plan, made a second trip out to meet Scout. She has a special touch as she was able to get our very shy dog to get in the harness to be walked on day 3 which is very rare! Zoe was understanding of our many rules for picking up Scout which was so appreciated!

Jazminn is great! Rilo has so much fun on her walks. I really appreciate how well Jazminn communicates. Her updates are helpful in that she lets me know if she and Rilo need anything for the walks. I really appreciate that. I feel very secure in knowing that my senior pup Rilo is in experienced hands.

Jasmine is awesome! She was so understanding and flexible about some changes to my booking and was super easy to communicate with about Cassidy's schedule & being apart of my Cassidy Care Crew ™️. She consistently sent little updates and great photos, and my Care Crew was able to flow so smoothly while I had to be away from the pup. Jasmine was 10/10, I'll be checking with her first the next time I need some extra support with Cassidy!

Jyne came to my rescue when I needed a very last minute dog walker due to an injury. She was an absolute life saver and my dog absolutely adored her. Honey practically bounced off the walls whenever she came over to walk her. 10000/10 would definitely book her again! Thanks so much Jyne!!!
