I currently work at a cat clinic and building my skills there! I'm currently a full-time student at UC Berkeley and on the pre-veterinary track. I am super flexible and willing to do whatever to take care of clients fur babies. Ensuring pet care is seen is my utmost goal and responsibility I seek! Currently have no pets but I am dog & cat Cpr-certified, very experienced with specific needs of owners and ensure a fear-free environment for everyone!

About: I’ve had my husky mix kuro for 10 years and just recently got my baby cat loki! I absolutely love my babies, my main objective is for you to feel safe, comfortable and worry free while you’re away from your baby! Taking care of a husky mix and cat is a bit of a handful and definitely requires a lot of care and attention daily, luckily my roommate and best friend is there with me to watch and care for my babies when im busy! I’d treat my clients home with respect as if it were my own! I would care for their babies like I would mine! I want my clients to feel safe and comfortable when their babies are in my care!
“I have booked walks and boarding with Nancy quite a few times, and find that she is always communicative, thoughtful, and helpful. My dog can be difficult sometimes when it comes to cooperating with what you want her to do, especially on hot days, and Nancy got creative to help ensure my pup got the most out of their time together. Highly recommended!”

About: I have a flexible schedule and am booking dog walks and drop-ins! I can accommodate for whether your dog likes more activity or needs a quiet and calm environment. I have experience dealing with dogs and other animals with anxiety and other medical or physical needs. I work from home at my own pace so I can accommodate different needs! Ideally, pet guests can be left at home alone for about an hour for errands and other events that come up. Please provide a crate if your dog cannot be left alone for over an hour. My home is responsible and dog safe with gates to prevent access to the kitchen. My yard is not fenced but I always keep dogs leashed.
“Esteban is the best! I was very afraid I would not find anyone to walk Piper as she is strong and slightly dog selective. Also certain dog folks do not want to walk her with a muzzle which is confusing to me, he has no issues with it. Esteban came for a meet and greet and it was a great fit! Piper has come home happy and exhausted! Can’t wait to grow our relationship with him! He’s the best!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life within my family but I’ve also taken my own path on raising puppies from the liter of my own dogs in my parents home having babies. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve taken in two dogs from the streets and have been raising them since one month old. I work for myself so any time I’d need to accommodate for your pups needs I can do that ! I just want to be of convenience for the dog parents because I know how hard it can be managing your life with your fur baby. I have crates if preferred to be used but I also have my own babies that I can bring over to spend time with your fur baby so they don’t feel alone or left out. My babies love other dogs, they are so playful and fun !

I love to take pictures throughout the visits to keep you updated on what your fur baby is up to. Based in Alameda County with an open and flexible schedule for dog sitting and pet care! I currently have a fully open and flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, check-ins, dog sitting, and regular pet care. I’m also happy to set up a consistent schedule if you’re looking for ongoing care! I’m currently renting, so I’m unable to offer in-home boarding or house pets in my own space, but I’m happy to provide care in the comfort of your pet’s home.
About: I provide calm, attentive care with a focus on routine and safety. I understand that every dog is different, and I aim to keep their environment steady and comfortable while you’re away. I’m organized, communicative, and reliable, and I take pride in making pet parents feel comfortable and informed. You can expect clear updates, thoughtful communication, and plenty of photos so you can feel at ease while your dog is in my care.

“John has now walked our dog several times and he has been great! He has taken very good care of our dog, is always very punctual for walks and gives good reports afterwards so we know how it went. Our dog seems to be very content with his midday walk! Thanks John!”

About: I have a 9 year old fur-baby. I've grown up around lot's of dogs; pedigrees, mutts, goof balls and guard dogs. I've experienced them all. My mom currently has 5 dogs! Dogs are treated like family members in my household. Your dog will be loved, pampered, and have company while you are away. For those dogs staying over, my dog Tumbleweed is super friendly and an old sould who will sit quietly and shy away in the corner. I have also trained a lot of my dogs so happy to help with training as needed. I've fostered dogs, and am comfortable working with your dogs personality to build confidence in our dynamic. Also, I am happy to brus your dogs and give any needed medicines etc. I say let's meet up (with your dog for dogs staying over) and we can see how your dog and I get along. We can take it from there! I am working part-time at present, mostly mornings and then too for myself. So I have plenty of flexibility to keep your fur-baby company. I have a fully fenced house. I've also had dogs that are escape artists so I am extra watchful. Happy to follow instructions based on your dogs needs.
“Jazminn is excellent! She is very thorough and communicative, and my pup loves spending time with her. My dog has some behavioral quirks and she’s been very helpful with tips/advice on how to work through them. Your pets will be in great hands with Jazminn!”

Oak Center dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’re repeat clients of John’s and continue to work with him because he’s fantastic with our dog and an all-around great human. He cares for our pet as if he was his own, and that has led to developing a level of trust that’s hard to come by. As always, we highly recommend John if you’re considering contacting him.

It was wonderful to be able to count on Natalie to help us with three walks over the holiday weekend! Our dog, Grover, is anxious around new people and dog reactive. Natalie was happy to take things very slowly with him until he was comfortable and gave me lots of updates. She definitely went the extra mile (sometimes literally) to make sure he got out on a nice walk and was well taken care of. It was a huge relief to find someone we could trust, which allowed me to relax while away. We will definitely be reaching out to Natalie soon to book more walks!

Enzo is a gem! I appreciated their flexibility to arrange a meet and greet since my dog is selective about the dogs she likes. One thing that struck me on Enzo's profile was that they understand the importance of mental enrichment and positive reinforcement for dogs; Enzo's pup Arlo seems super smart and engaged and I'm excited for Naya to be cared for by someone so invested in dog behavior and science. Naya's first walk with Enzo and Arlo reassured me that Enzo would be an excellent, attentive caregiver for Naya. I look forward to working with Enzo more!

Stephanie is a gem! She's an incredibly thoughtful dog guardian and caregiver. I appreciated her warmth, flexibility, and attention to detail. My dog Naya has reactive tendencies and it was such a relief to meet a sitter who already spoke the language of fear-free, positive reinforcement training and whose questions anticipated our needs. I look forward to having her walk Naya.

Andrew is a phenomenal walker! He’s responsible, a great communicator, and he is very thoughtful about my pup’s care. Having volunteered in some similar settings to Andrew, I would trust him to handle all sorts of dog temperaments and scenarios - there really is no training like city shelter experience. I am very happy working with Andrew and would recommend him heartily to anyone!

Chewy can be very shy and takes time to warm up to new people so unfortunately they weren’t able to complete the walk this time. However, she was very patient, calm, and really tried her best the entire hour. I truly appreciated her kindness and understanding with him.
