About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. Calm, trust and safety are my top priorities. I hope you give me the chance to connect with you and your fur baby/ babies. I work from home. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. I have a fenced yard, Herita is spayed and loves to play with other dogs. Her bff is a 3 y/o Doberman. Which I take care of a couple of times a week (take her out on walks and feed her)
About: We have welcomed both young puppies and senior dogs into our family over the past couple of years and are well-versed in dog care of all ages, including medication, potty/leash/crate training, etc. We own a brand new condo in a gated, dog-friendly community. We look forward to welcoming your fur baby into our safe space. I work predominantly at home and my husband works full-time from home so there will always be a guardian to take care of your pets needs. We care for our own dogs with patience, kindness, and attention; we will do the same for any dog entering our home. We do not believe in negative reinforcement or punishment. We train with positive reinforcement, repetition, and treats. We take our own dogs out every few hours for walks and potty breaks. Since we both work from home, we have plenty of time to care for and play with your dogs! We have a daily routine which includes feeding, potty breaks, walks, play time, and cuddles. There is an off leash dog park 5 mins away from our house for doggy socialization.
About: Growing up in a family that always had dogs, I’ve spent over seven years caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I raised my own corgi from puppyhood, which gave me a solid foundation in training, grooming, and understanding canine behavior. Over time, I’ve also cared for senior dogs who required medication, gentle exercise, and extra patience, as well as energetic puppies who needed structured play and consistent guidance. Clients often describe me as reliable, communicative, and attentive to every pet’s comfort. I regularly provide updates with photos and videos to help owners feel connected while they’re away. I’m also experienced with multi-pet households, including both dogs and cats, and I take pride in maintaining a calm and caring environment for all animals under my care. As a remote work with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.
About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience. I am able to give medicine, groom and wash, I am respectful when taking dogs out and make sure I clean up after them. I take direction well. If you have certain habits you'd like to reinforce I will do the same. I am not afraid to ask questions to ensure you have a stress free time away from your little family member. Their safety is just as important to me and it is to you and I hope to ease their tension while you are away. I work as a freelance set designer and audiovisual technician a few times a month. I have a rather flexible schedule and often work from home planning and designing varying projects throughout the year. I often go on walks and runs in the oakland hills and marinas so I know some great places to take dogs on walks and will often accompany friends with their pet family on mini adventures to the great outdoors. I worked with animals for over 4 years as an educator in Lawrence Hall of science as lead animal caregiver. I really enjoy animals of all types and have much experience with working in Wag hotels where I had to feed multiple dogs with special diets and medications. Walking and handling many breeds at the same time along with safe practices is not new to me. I'd love to cultivate a regular relationship with an owner and make this a regular gig. I like to make sure I know the house rules of each owner. Consistency in boundaries set by the owner is important to me. I always ask to meet the owner and the pets I will be house sitting for or talking on daily walks before committing to the job as it's important the pet and owner both feel safe with me. I ask about territory needs as the home relationship versus outside endeavors can be very different for each pet.
“Laura was a reliable, kind, and communicative. She provided detailed updates which were especially important because our dog had some health issues. She also sent the best photos! We will definitely be re-booking Laura!”

I currently have open availability, allowing me to create a schedule around current and future clients. I walk my own dog at least twice a day. “Esteban quickly became my puppy's very best friend (I hope my kids don't see this). My puppy returns from walks and passes out for hours. Esteban is reliable and my puppy is always excited to go on their walks. He also communicates well and gives great updates on any activity from the walk.”

“Priscilla has been walking my pup for about two months now. She has some anxiety issues and hasn’t beeen warming up to dog walkers as she’s getting older. But this has changed with Priscilla. Sunny just adores her and it really gives me peace of mind while I’m at work. We’re so lucky to have her 🐾💕”

“Thank you, Nancy, for trying to walk Viggo. Even though he didn’t feel like walking and laid down on the sidewalk, Nancy did her best to get him moving. And she sent cute pics of his protest;)”

I am new to Rover but experienced with pet/housesitting for friends, neighbors, and more recently pet parents from different platforms. I enjoy caring for animals as I’m not able to have my own where I live. Communication throughout the pet-sitting process is key and I’m happy to send pictures and keep updated on longer sits. Overall I enjoy being able to assist in pet care while you’re away and getting to know the animals is always a fun part of my time! I have a somewhat flexible schedule and work part time in SF. On longer sits, I have often shared responsibility with my partner who is able to cover me when I am at work. I don’t offer boarding at my home but I make sure to follow and respect any guidelines in your home to ensure everyone’s safety and a consistent environment for the animals.

About: I love animals and have been around fur pets since I was a child. I have experience with big dogs, puppies, senior dogs, and kittens. My previous neighbor used to foster kittens while I dog sat for my friends, family, landlords, neighbors, etc. Dogs and cats are my therapy and love some cuddles and jogs. I have my own 7 month old female puppy who absolutely loves all dogs. She’s shy towards people but dogs are her favorite. I have a hybrid schedule with flexibility during the week and weekends. I’m flexible and open to sitting, walking, runs, or just check-in’s. I’m typically busiest on Tuesdays and likely only available in the late afternoon. We love communication so I’m always happy to send updates and have experience with dogs who need extra attention and/or healing pets. For my puppies/kittens they’re learning so a little patience and attention to fostering their schedule/training is important. These animals are like my children so showing them the same love and care is important to me.
“Jay is the best with my two pups! super accommodating with my odd schedule, communicative and gets the best photos of them having a good time. Having jay has been a life saver for when I have to be in the office!”

About: I'm a semi-professional athlete and sports administrator with a deep love for dogs and cats. I make a great fetch partner because I have a lot of energy myself, but I'm also happy to be a quiet cuddle buddy. I have two cats of my own at home that I'm obsessed with - one has constant zoomies while the other is the more brooding type. However, I also have plenty of experience caring for dogs of a variety of sizes and ages: -Experience with walking and dogsitting a large senior dog with mobility issues and medical needs, including medication -Experience walking and dogsitting a small, young, high energy pup needing a lot of activity -Experience with walking and dogsitting two large dogs with varying levels of energy, one with reactivity issues -Experience with living with and helping to care for a large, anxious dog While I have practice every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7-9pm, along with games on many Saturdays, my schedule is otherwise extremely flexible. I love a morning walk and am also happy to do a nighttime check-in. While I would love to house your pets myself, one of my cats is quite territorial and would prefer that we don't have guests in the house. However, if you choose to have me care for your pets in your home, I am an incredibly respectful and thoughtful house guest.
