About: I grew up with family cats and dogs and adopted my own puppy at 17 and quickly realized how much work a pet of your own is! I’ve been lucky to live with cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now have a charmer of a big orange cat with my fiancé. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life within my family but I’ve also taken my own path on raising puppies from the liter of my own dogs in my parents home having babies. About: I have work with dogs my entire life, but currently I run a small dog daycare/boarding facility at my home with my husband so our sole focus is caring for our pups and we will happily give your pup all our love and attention! I’m responsible, respectful and very organized which allows us to run a safe and stable home environment for each one of our dogs. I’m available daily for dog walks, daycare and/or boarding. My current small daycare group is about 3-5 regular dogs that come on different weekdays. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards for extra safety. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walk or boarding and I currently run a small group dog daycare in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes extremely well socialized dogs of all sizes most of which are between 3 and 6 years old. It’s a great environment for a dog to build social skills and confidence in a calm, well adjusted pack. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

My kids and I moved to Vegas in 2023 from Virginia Beach, Virginia and now we are exploring more of the West Coast to find our more long term home, preferably with water nearby because we miss the beach! I am a huge animal lover, as are both of my kids, and I would love to care for your babies as if they were my own while you are gone! We treat animals with respect, love, and kindness always. I currently help care for our 5 year old Holland Lop bunny named Elliott and our 3 cats, Zarii, Billie and Pluto and have also had many dogs in my life, including our Great Dane and last dog Louie. I have a HUGE soft spot for the big dogs thanks to him. Their hearts are way bigger than ours ♥️ Please know that while you are away, your home and/or animals will be cared for with the upmost love and attention and I will communicate with you as often as you prefer about the status of your babes and of course send cute pics throughout our time together! [Thats my favorite part :)] If I seem like a good match for your family, that’s wonderful and I look forward to connecting with you! At this time my schedule is very flexible and my daily and weekly routines can be adjusted at anytime to fit the needs of a pet I am sitting. I will care for your pet like they are my own. If you have any special requests, please make sure to let me know and I will do my best to look after them just as you would while I am there to take care of them. If they’re used to cuddles on the couch, then bring on the cuddles! I want them to feel as comfortable as they possibly can with me there to take care of them and I will always make sure they do! I love to snap photos to update parents on how we are doing as well.

About: Hiya, I'm Peter! I've cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and have since provided countless hours of pet-care of friends, family, friends of the family, and families of friends! I have years of experience doing walks, play, feeding, bathing, clean-up and more. I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. Our pets are no less than little bundles of feelings and life that we are given the opportunity to cherish. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. I would love to opportunity to provide care to your pet! I work from home in a low-speed position, so I have a flexible schedule for your pets' needs. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.
