About: Hi! I’m Courtney, and I love dogs and have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds from Chihuahuas to Pit bull terriers to Great Danes. I have worked for humane societies for years walking shelter dogs and helping with basic training and grooming, so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes including strong, highly active dogs that require an experienced controlled dog walker/sitter. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. I work from home part time and have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! I’m responsible and respectful, as well as, punctual, and will happily give your pup all my love and attention! I’m available daily for dog walks and boarding and I currently have a small group of regular dogs that come on different weekdays for doggie daycare. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walks but I do run a doggie daycare (max 5 dogs per day) in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes dogs ranging from 15 - 85 pounds and almost all the dogs are between 3 and 5 years old. I also offer boarding for up to 2 dogs per night but usually I am booked out 4-6 weeks ahead of time. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

“John is consistent, communicative, and shares great photos and status updates, including on the training work that he consistently provides for our pup. We love him!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! Ranging from a lab mix, to a terrier, to a chin-pin mix I adopted from Muttville. Family and friends rely on me to provide personal and attentive care to their pets. I love walking dogs and finding parks with engaging walking paths. I’m extremely flexible and open as I work part time as a personal trainer in the mornings and work from home the rest of the day. I’m able to set my own schedule for flexibility I live in a condo community that has many friendly dog neighbors and my partner and I love making a comfortable environment. I have doggie stairs for the little/old dogs, as well as 2 crates, 2 cots, and plenty of soft blankets. I strive to provide boundaries and structure with affection

About: My entire life I have had pets and cared for other peoples pets. I currently volunteer and foster for an animal rescue and have been doing so for nearly a decade. I have pets of my own and treat everyone else’s pet as if they were mine. I understand positive reinforcement training methods and only use positivity in my practice. I currently work with pets full time. I’m happy to see how I can best accommodate you and your fur baby. Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile! Every single pet is important to me and treated as family. I ask that I’m given emergency contact info and at least one person to reach in the event that your pet needs care and I am unable to reach you.

“Devyn is absolutely amazing. She is great with dogs and always goes the extra mile. We really appreciate her expertise and care when taking care of our pup.”

About: I’ve always had pets in my life, from two large dogs who lived long, happy lives to the two cats currently running the house (don’t worry—they keep to themselves). I’m great at matching energy, so pets tend to love hanging out with me whether they’re zoomie machines or couch loungers. I’m solid with routines, meds. and totally fine with couch or bed snuggles—I’m a professional at both. Right now, l’m job hunting in a tough market. My schedule is flexible, and pet care gives me purpose—and honestly, better company than most Zoom meetings. I take the time seriously and treat it like the real job it is. I care for pets like they are my own—calm, clean, and respectful of their space and routine. I follow your instructions closely and aim to make them feel safe, seen, and totally at ease.

“Great job! Fen loved her walk. Damian did a fantastic job!”

About: I've been around dogs most of my life and have cared for them for 5+ years. My first dog was a dobermann, second a chihuahua, and now a husky/jindo mix - so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments! My friends and I also have a dog community where we take care of each other's dogs when we are away, so I am used to having multiple dogs in my home at a time. I work from home almost all days of the week so I am available to take your pet out for walks for about 3-4x a day! Nori's walk schedule is at 7am (30 mins), 12pm (20 mins), 5pm (1 hour), and 9pm (20 mins). I live in a 3 story townhome with my wife and have a backyard with turf for the dogs to go potty. The first floor is my office and is gated off with a dog gate leading up to the second. If your dog and mine need to be separated for any reason, I am able to easily do so. If your dog is crate trained, I am also happy to crate them and continue your training as you like!

About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.
