He also took the time to meet with me and Bernie ahead to make sure all his needs were understood. It is clear to me that Chen loves pets and treats them with care. He sent me many updates reflecting his attention to Bernie's comfort and sense of feeling at home and with family. He also sent many stellar photos. Niko and Hiro had such a great experience with Jakree! We initially booked them for an 8-day stay while we were away on a cruise, and they came home so happy and well cared for. I really appreciated their whole process—from the initial meet-and-greet and spending time getting to know our dogs, to being thoughtful about which dogs will mesh well together. Niko and Hiro have very different personalities, and it really felt like they understood that and accommodated each of them with so much love and care. We also had a last-minute work situation come up and needed someone to watch them for the day, and Jakree was incredibly responsive and accommodating in taking them on short notice. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing we have someone we trust with our pups, whether it’s for a longer trip or just a day. We’ll definitely be using Jakree again!
Maia was wonderful with Mishka. I can tell she is very thorough and took great care of him. She also sent me updates and lots of pics everyday without me asking for them first. I know Mishka was in good hands with her and will def use her again. She’s also very flexible with drop off and pick up and has great communication.
Joshua was absolutely wonderful with my 7-year-old cockapoo, Appa. Appa and I recently moved to the Bay Area from New Jersey, and I was looking for a reliable dog sitter who lived nearby. Joshua was incredibly flexible with my schedule and even took a last-minute request to dog sit. Joshua kept me in the loop with photos and video updates, and he also took Appa for extra walks. Appa is naturally anxious, but he quickly warmed up to Joshua. Sehoon is my go to dog sitter in Oakland/Berkeley area! He always goes above and beyond for Rocky- feeding him his favorite treats, taking him out on fun walks and adventures, and even giving him a bath. I know Rocky loves it every time he gets to go to Sehoon’s and looks forward to being back next time :)
Rob was amazing with our bulldog Choux! He treated him to lots of park visits, treats, and snuggles, gave him all the appropriate meds and even kept him from scratching. We are fostering Giselle, an incredibly sweet but very reactive pit bull from the Alameda animal shelter, and finding someone we trust to handle her is no easy task. Stephanie is one of those rare people who not only has the confidence and experience to manage challenging behaviors, but also takes the time to understand *why* a dog is behaving the way they are and figure out what works best for that individual dog. She doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Stephanie pays attention, experiments with different techniques, reads the dog in front of her, and adapts each walk or visit to exactly what that dog needs. She is patient, curious, compassionate, and incredibly skilled at working with dogs across all types of behaviors and temperaments. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We recommend Stephanie to everyone we know, regardless of whether their dog is easygoing, anxious, reactive, or has other behavioral needs, because we’ve experienced firsthand just how thoughtful and capable she truly is.
