About: I’m a full time artist and WFH sitter with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages including Puppies, seniors, special needs pets, and sensitive personalities. I live a calm and quiet lifestyle with my senior corgi, Mochi, and my sweet, dog friendly cat, Mumu. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will get steady attention, a peaceful environment, and care that never feels rushed. My dog Mochi is 10 and has had many health issues, including back leg mobility problems. Caring for her has given me strong experience with senior dogs, medication schedules, mobility support, slow routines, anxious pets and even stroller walks. I grew up with many pets, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve experienced a negligent sitter in the past whose carelessness sent my dog to the hospital. Because of that I take this work extremely seriously. I’m attentive, detail oriented, cautious and I never take shortcuts especially with older or delicate pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Because I’m an artist I’ll sometimes doodle a small portrait of your pet if time allows, just a little gift for you. A little about why I joined Rover: I recently moved into a larger space which has allowed me to comfortably host more pets. I also decided to start pet sitting as a way to help offset the rising costs of my senior dog’s insurance. It’s important to me that I can continue providing the best care for her and Rover lets me do that while offering attentive, reliable care to other pets as well. I WFH so I’m home most of the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine I already have a senior dog with daily feeding, meds so I’m used to gentle and structured care throughout the day. I take breaks to give pets attention, walks, playtime and lots of calm company. Your pet would be part of my daily rhythm not an afterthought I maintain a calm and supervised home where safety comes first. Pets get slow introductions and secure spaces and constant oversight since I work from home. My corgi is crate-trained and my cat has high-ground access so everyone has their own safe zones. I follow your schedule exactly : feeding, walks, meds, and activities so your pet stays on their normal routine. They’ll have a safe comfortable place to play or nap all day and can sleep with me at night if they'd like to. Diet & Feeding I follow your pet’s exact feeding schedule and portion sizes to keep everything consistent. I always make sure pets stay hydrated, especially in warmer weather. I feed my dog and guest dogs separately to avoid any food guarding or stress during mealtimes. Hygiene & Cleanliness I keep pets clean and comfortable throughout the day : wiping paws if needed, cleaning eye discharge and keeping their space tidy. I’m very detailoriented about maintaining a clean safe environment. Walk Safety All dogs are leashed outdoors at all times. I stay alert around other dogs separate pets immediately if there are signs of stress or tension and prevent ground eating or unsafe sniffing areas. I’m always attentive and I clean up after them every time. Sleeping Arrangements My own dog prefers her own bed and doesn’t sleep with me but your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they feel comfortable whether that’s in their own bed, the crate or in the bed with me for extra comfort. I make sure every pet has a safe cozy sleeping setup.

About: I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) My work schedule is flexible, so I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). My schedule is pretty flexible overall! Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!
Northgate dog parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn’t have asked for a better first sitter for our 5 months old puppy. Mary understands the works and care that needs to put into taking care for a puppy. She keeps us updated with pictures and logged all activities in an app for us. We are so grateful that Bailey came home happy, and well taking care of!

Our girl pearly has some medical complications and requires daily oral medication - Alexis made sure to ask clarifying questions to understand her condition and met all of her needs. She sends plenty of pictures and was able to tolerate Pearlys urinary incontinence related to her condition. She’s a great dog sitter and we will definitely be reaching out to her again if we need dog care!

Nasreddine has been a really great sitter for Rosco. Her place is like his home away from home where she hangs out with him, takes him on walks and even lets him snuggle with blankets. Even when Rosco began anxiety marking around her home, she was reassuring and understanding while being very communicative. Highly recommend.

Anchisa was absolutely wonderful with Lola for the week! She kept me well informed daily regarding Lola’s wellbeing and sent beautiful pictures that gave me complete peace of mind. Lola came home happy, healthy, and completely relaxed. I highly recommended Anchisa and will definitely book her again!

Christopher took amazing care of my dog while we were away. He kept us updated, took him on walks, and even bought him treats and a little lamb toy which was so thoughtful. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals. I’m very happy with the service and would definitely trust him to watch my dog again 😊
Mariola has watched my senior dog several times and she takes such great care of her. On one of her stays, my dog had an upset stomach and Mariola kept me up to date and gave her care until I was home. She has a fenced yard that gives the dogs some extra outdoor time, and my dog clearly enjoys her stays when I go out of town. I highly recommend, especially if you have an small older dog like I do

Albina was such a good dog sitter for our rat terrier Frannie! Frannie can be a shy girl and has a hard time eating in new places but Albina encouraged her and got her to eat with no issues! She sent frequent updates and took Frannie on some fun adventures. 10/10, we’ll be booking with Albina every time.
