He also took the time to meet with me and Bernie ahead to make sure all his needs were understood. It is clear to me that Chen loves pets and treats them with care. He sent me many updates reflecting his attention to Bernie's comfort and sense of feeling at home and with family. He also sent many stellar photos. “Marlene did an excellent job of communicating about MacGuyver's issues while we were away, for which we were very grateful. It was obvious Marlene loved our special needs dog very much (he's blind) and she did her best to walk him twice a day despite him not wanting to walk. (He needed the exercise to get tired and sleep). We will definitely hire Marlene again; her personality is super gentle and kind. Her apartment was impeccably clean every time I visited (3 times). About: With over 25 years of dog experience, ranging from extra-large to toy breeds, and 8 years of cat experience, I bring a lifetime of hands-on animal care to my work. I adopted my dog, Sokka, from the SFSPCA in 2020. He was described as “mouthy, jumpy, rambunctious” and transported from Fresno to SF. Today, he's a well-mannered companion who walks calmly on leash and knows over 20 commands, including ultimate recall. I also raised my tuxedo cat, Suki, at 3 months old when I adopted her in 2017. I’m certified in Red Cross Dog & Cat First Aid. I’m known for being patient, observant, loving, and pragmatic, with a strong instinct for reading animal body language. Your pets are in calm, capable hands. I'm currently funemployed and available to house-sit and drop-ins during weekdays, offering dog-walks anytime, and am flexible for any services on weekends. I go on runs early in the morning and do some weight lifting in the afternoon I crate train my dog, have a command for them to go to their bed, and provide mental stimulation training and feeding programs. I take my dog out for potty breaks at least three times a day. I will commit to showing your animal as much love and care as I do to mine.

“Vanessa was so kind and careful with our pup Gumbo! We were extra nervous because we had to leave him with her for two weeks while he recovered from an injury. Following our vet’s instructions, she gave him his meds, restricted his activity, carried him up and down the stairs, and provided so much loving care. And she sent us lots of updates! Her pup Robin is so sweet too. We’re looking forward to Gumbo’s next stay with them.”
