About: I've taken care of many dogs from chihuahua's, poodle mixes, corgi's and pointers. I have the most experience with small dogs but would love to take care of your large pups too! I have experience caring for and feeding medication to senior dogs from Muttville in San Francisco and lived and cared for a very anxious corgi for two years so have a lot of experience navigating and understanding when a dog needs space. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I'm starting grad school in late august so have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available weekdays and weekends for now and will update my schedule once school is back in session. I have a small fenced in yard if the pup needs a quiet enclosed area to play in. I have experience crating anxious corgis and giving medication and am willing to follow any rules you have to ensure good training and safety for your dog. Ultimately, I just want you and your pet to be comfortable!

About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

About: I’ve loved dogs for most of my life. About 16 years ago, I rescued a stray mother dog and brought her into my home, where she safely gave birth to her puppies. About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

About: Hi! My name is Stephanie and I have been pet sitting for over 15 years. My love of animals has led me to initially start looking after family and friend's critters to wanting to help others as a way to care for their pets when they're busy or unable to. I have cared for both cats, dogs, even a pig, ranging from young to old. Currently, I provide daily check-ins to see how pets are doing. I also provide walks and play time so they get some engagement and aren't lonely while their owners are away on business or vacation or just busy with work. If you are looking for someone to help you with a walk, a check-in, or play time, please don't hesitate to contact me! I'm currently funemployed so my schedule is extremely flexible. For drop-ins, I drop in once in the morning at 8:30am and/or again in the evening at 6:30pm. For walks, they would be during middle of the day at around 1pm. Prior to an service, I try to communicate with pet owners about anything I should know. I prefer to over communicate to make sure everyone is on the same page and that I have everything I need to make every visit, stay, or walk successful. When visiting a client's home, I allow pets to come up to me first so they can get acquainted with me. I don't force interaction since that can break down trust. If any of the pets have soiled or damaged anything on the property, I'd document it, send it to the client, then clean up any mess. Whether I'm staying at someone's house or doing drop-ins, I give each pet lots of love and attention in the form of pets, belly rubs, and playing games with them. If they are skittish, I tend to let them approach me when they feel comfortable.

I completely understand that life happens, things change that are out of our control that allow cancellations to be of the utmost necessity; given said occurrences and situations. However, if you have a back up caregiver in mind outside of the app, a family member, a friend or just something that cause for you to feel any amount of uncertainty towards your booking, I strongly encourage you to please exhaust any of your other potential caregiving options prior to booking with me. I do have various different gigs and this one is my highest paying one. When a client cancels, it becomes quite difficult, overwhelming and frustrating to have a booking default to void after being reassured that my services are required. I genuinely enjoy my Rover clients and do hope to care for as many fuzzy friends as I can but financially & emotionally, I can’t afford to have clients that dangle confirmed bookings & then rescind them. Please be 100% sure that if you’re booking with me, you will keep your scheduled appointments if you’re absolutely capable in doing so. This constantly reoccurring issue is becoming far too frequent & this is my best effort & attempt at getting a handle on things. Once again I appreciate every single one of you & thank you all so very much for your consideration!
