About: I’ve loved dogs for most of my life. About 16 years ago, I rescued a stray mother dog and brought her into my home, where she safely gave birth to her puppies. I cared for the little family until every puppy found a loving forever home. That experience deepened my love for dogs and showed me how rewarding it is to help them feel safe, loved, and happy. After moving to the United States, I began caring for dogs through Rover. I am working full time at Rover to help care for doggies, so I am always there for them. Since I am working full time for this, I can closely follow the doggie’s routines and note any special care they may need. In Irvine, I was grateful to earn five-star reviews and the trust of many wonderful families, with several becoming repeat clients. Now our family has moved to Berkeley because my daughter will be attending UC Berkeley. Hence, I’m accepting new clients in Berkeley!! I’m excited to continue caring for dogs in our new community. When choosing our new home, one of my top priorities was finding a place with a fully fenced private backyard so visiting dogs would have a safe, secure space to play, explore, and relax. Our new home has a lovely private backyard where doggies can walk in and out of our house freely and enjoy their time in the backyard as well. We also have a huge park (San Pablo Park) near our home, with an huge dog-friendly grass field, and I usually take doggies there for a walk. With 16 years of hands-on dog care experience, I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, recovering from surgery, or simply needs extra love and attention, I’ll care for them with patience, kindness, and the same love I’d give my own family. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want you to have complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and loved like a member of the family. I also share daily photos and updates so you always know how your dog is doing while you’re away. I’m currently not working and can spend time with doggies all day long. I am able to provide well-rounded care to them and could spare lots of energy and love to them. I provide calm, structured, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s routine. In my home, pets are cared for in a clean, safe, and quiet environment with plenty of supervision. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walking, and rest, and I keep daily routines as consistent as possible to help pets feel secure. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, fresh water, timely meals, and lots of gentle attention. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and energy levels, and I communicate promptly with owners if anything seems off. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s familiar routine, providing reliable care, companionship, and updates so owners can feel at ease.

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

About: I’ve been a pet caregiver since I was 15 and have been an owner of dogs of all breeds since I was 3! In home, overnight, periodical experience included. I have experience administering medication, dog walking and surgery aftercare as well. *Important* To the fellow pet parents & animal lovers alike, I’d just like to step in and thank you for considering me as your pet caregiver! I’m honored & grateful for the opportunity to care for your 4 legged family member. If I become your final choice and plans are arranged for a meet & greet, dates have been booked & both parties have confirmed your booking via the app, I just wanted to kindly & respectfully request that ALL of you wonderful parents, be mindful of cancellations. I completely understand that life happens, things change that are out of our control that allow cancellations to be of the utmost necessity; given said occurrences and situations. However, if you have a back up caregiver in mind outside of the app, a family member, a friend or just something that cause for you to feel any amount of uncertainty towards your booking, I strongly encourage you to please exhaust any of your other potential caregiving options prior to booking with me. I do have various different gigs and this one is my highest paying one. When a client cancels, it becomes quite difficult, overwhelming and frustrating to have a booking default to void after being reassured that my services are required. I genuinely enjoy my Rover clients and do hope to care for as many fuzzy friends as I can but financially & emotionally, I can’t afford to have clients that dangle confirmed bookings & then rescind them. Please be 100% sure that if you’re booking with me, you will keep your scheduled appointments if you’re absolutely capable in doing so. This constantly reoccurring issue is becoming far too frequent & this is my best effort & attempt at getting a handle on things. Once again I appreciate every single one of you & thank you all so very much for your consideration! I can’t take care of your little fuzzy one in my home but I can guarantee the trust and safety to be able to do so in yours. I have references to verify that as well, upon request.

About: I've spent many years dog sitting and have a special place in my heart for reactive pups, seniors, and dogs with sensitive diets. I'm calm, patient, and attentive to each dog's unique needs. I'm happy to prepare special meals if your pup has dietary restrictions! While I do not have a large yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of outdoor fun walks, enrichment, and lots of love and attention. Your dog will be treated como familia while you're away. I currently work a hybrid schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks and activities throughout the day. If left alone, it is for no more than 4 hours. I'm available for weekend boarding and offer free pickup and drop-off. Your dog will be cared for in a calm, cozy one-bedroom apartment where they will be closely supervised and given plenty of attention. I intentionally keep a low-stress environment, and there are currently no other pets in the home, which can be especially helpful for reactive or older dogs who do best with quiet spaces. We're also located near green spaces, so your pup will enjoy regular outdoor walks, fresh air, and enrichment while staying safe and comfortable indoors.
