About: Hi! My name is Stephanie and I have been pet sitting for over 15 years. My love of animals has led me to initially start looking after family and friend's critters to wanting to help others as a way to care for their pets when they're busy or unable to. I have cared for both cats, dogs, even a pig, ranging from young to old. Currently, I provide daily check-ins to see how pets are doing. I also provide walks and play time so they get some engagement and aren't lonely while their owners are away on business or vacation or just busy with work. If you are looking for someone to help you with a walk, a check-in, or play time, please don't hesitate to contact me! I'm currently funemployed so my schedule is extremely flexible. For drop-ins, I drop in once in the morning at 8:30am and/or again in the evening at 6:30pm. For walks, they would be during middle of the day at around 1pm. Prior to an service, I try to communicate with pet owners about anything I should know. I prefer to over communicate to make sure everyone is on the same page and that I have everything I need to make every visit, stay, or walk successful. When visiting a client's home, I allow pets to come up to me first so they can get acquainted with me. I don't force interaction since that can break down trust. If any of the pets have soiled or damaged anything on the property, I'd document it, send it to the client, then clean up any mess. Whether I'm staying at someone's house or doing drop-ins, I give each pet lots of love and attention in the form of pets, belly rubs, and playing games with them. If they are skittish, I tend to let them approach me when they feel comfortable.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a young child, my family always had at least one dog. I am comfortable with spending time with dogs, walking them, playing with them, and anything special care they may need! I’m currently a part time college student (I’m starting college later in life) so I have plenty of time to be able to visit and hang out with pets. I always make sure the cats’ needs come first, checking all doors and windows are secured, and that there are no hazards. I’m very calm and patient, whatever energy and mood the cat is in, that is what goes!

I have experience administering medication, dog walking and surgery aftercare as well. *Important* To the fellow pet parents & animal lovers alike, I’d just like to step in and thank you for considering me as your pet caregiver! I’m honored & grateful for the opportunity to care for your 4 legged family member. If I become your final choice and plans are arranged for a meet & greet, dates have been booked & both parties have confirmed your booking via the app, I just wanted to kindly & respectfully request that ALL of you wonderful parents, be mindful of cancellations. I completely understand that life happens, things change that are out of our control that allow cancellations to be of the utmost necessity; given said occurrences and situations. However, if you have a back up caregiver in mind outside of the app, a family member, a friend or just something that cause for you to feel any amount of uncertainty towards your booking, I strongly encourage you to please exhaust any of your other potential caregiving options prior to booking with me. I do have various different gigs and this one is my highest paying one. When a client cancels, it becomes quite difficult, overwhelming and frustrating to have a booking default to void after being reassured that my services are required. I genuinely enjoy my Rover clients and do hope to care for as many fuzzy friends as I can but financially & emotionally, I can’t afford to have clients that dangle confirmed bookings & then rescind them. Please be 100% sure that if you’re booking with me, you will keep your scheduled appointments if you’re absolutely capable in doing so. This constantly reoccurring issue is becoming far too frequent & this is my best effort & attempt at getting a handle on things. Once again I appreciate every single one of you & thank you all so very much for your consideration! I can’t take care of your little fuzzy one in my home but I can guarantee the trust and safety to be able to do so in yours. I have references to verify that as well, upon request.

About: I’ve raised and trained two dogs throughout my life, in addition to taking care of cats, lizards and snakes, an axolotl, chickens, and bunnies. Going for jogs, making sure each pet takes their meds, and/or taking care of older animals that may have bowel issues is all part of it! I’m delighted in being a pet caretaker, and would be happy to chat about dog training as well. I mostly work from home, but may have to make 1-2 (at most) ~2 hour trips to San Francisco in a week. I have a fairly routine schedule, and even take myself for walks! If I’m going out of town, I’ll just block off that part of my schedule. If taking care of a pooch in my apartment, I’ll make sure each meal (and meds if needed) plan is adhered to and that water is always available, that at least three walks happen per day and, if we agree on it, that other needs be met. If I’m coming to your house, I’m mindful that some dogs have stranger anxiety, and will approach calmly in order for them to be walked and fed. I’ll respect your, and the dog’s, space.

About: I have tons of experience sitting small, medium, and large sized dogs, and absolutely love them. I have boarded dogs in my own home, in the pet sitters home, love dog walking, and going to the dog park. My rates reflect over 15 years of experience, I can be 100% attentive to your dogs since I work remotely from home and have a safe and clean home to board your dog. I work from home as a graphic designer, so my schedule is really flexible, which also means that I can be attentive to your dog more so than others who may have a normal work schedule. About: I’ve loved dogs for most of my life. About 16 years ago, I rescued a stray mother dog and brought her into my home, where she safely gave birth to her puppies. I cared for the little family until every puppy found a loving forever home. That experience deepened my love for dogs and showed me how rewarding it is to help them feel safe, loved, and happy.
