About: I love all animals big and small. I have volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter and Oakland Zoo. Always had cats and dogs in my life. I am retired and enjoy walking (and playing with) dogs/cats and getting exercise. My time is pretty flexible and can work with your busy schedule. Safety is my main concern when walking a pet — always ensuring harness/collar/leash is secure and avoiding approaching dogs. After a walk I fill their water bowls and ensure the door is locked.

About: Grew up with dogs, in my 20’s adopted a dog of my own and we spent almost 15 years together. About: From two years old and on I have always had at least two dogs in my house. I grew up with two 135lb Shiloh Shepherds and currently have two Belgian Malinois. I learned early on how to take care of my dogs. From puppy to a powdered sugar face, I have experienced it all. They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. When it comes to taking care of any precious animal, this statement has never felt more true. Outside of my own home, I have pet sat a wide variety of animals. Since starting college, I have missed my own dogs, but I would be more than ecstatic to be able to take care of yours. Im a senior at UC Berkeley with lots of time on my hands. My schedule is flexible and can fit with almost any owner or pet. I’m free Monday- Thursday (before 9am, after 11am), and all day Friday-Sunday I live on the bottom floor of a house with a fenced in backyard that includes a grassy area. I also live right next to a big park where many dogs frequent. I’m 20 mins from campus as well as 5 minutes from the Berkeley fire trails.

I’m still a college student, and most of my classes are online, so my schedule is flexible. I’m usually available in the morning and afternoon, and I can also help in the evening if needed. I will always do my best to follow the pet’s routine. When I take care of pets, I always try to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. For my own pets, I feed them in the morning and afternoon. After they eat, I wait about 30 minutes, then take them for a walk. I also give them their own space where they can relax or play by themselves. If I’m at the client’s home, I try to keep the same routine, so the pet doesn’t feel stressed or confused.
