“Christine came to the rescue on short notice to walk our foster dog while we were on vacation. She was patient, understanding and offered great care. Love the rover.com app and the report card feature! Christine clearly followed the protocol, gave informative daily feedback and put our concerns about leaving new foster pet at ease. Thanks Christine!”
3. Abby S.
“Abby is very empathic and caring towards all animals. She has a love of connecting with the animals and enjoys binding with them by playing with them, taking then for walks, belly rubs, and snuggles. She has had experience caring for her own dogs, even when they weren't feeling well. She would be an excellent dog walker and would ensure that the dog is taken care of properly.”

Not only did they do a wonderful job taking care of my house, they also did an outstanding job caring for my dog! I was very happy with the way Rabbit response to my dog and I have also had the experience of being with the two of them and observed their interactions together. My dog love's Rabbit, and I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in Rabbit's care.”

8. Yuan Z.
“Yuan is a loving pet parents with a tender heart for strays. She had raised 2 cats and 1 dog for over 15 years. 20 years ago, she rescued a cat and convinced me to join her to become a cat mom. With her guidance and support, i entered the wonderful world of being a pet owner . I always count on Yuan to help watch my cat whenever I was out of town. She learned a lot about how pets behaves and communicate and is extremely knowledgeable about their habits and languages. My cat once ran away in an apartment complex, I was devastated, but Yuan was my rock and helped me through for 2 weeks and eventually got my cat back after a big storm (she knows cats were eager to come out hunting food). I am truly grateful for Yuan’s help. And won’t hesitate to have her watch my pets anytime.”

About: I've always had an affinity for nature and animals. But growing up, I didn't get the experience of constant family pets or venturing into animal volunteering. My best bet was seeing the latest jungle documentary, bird watching on job breaks, or quick greetings with a house pet whenever I visited someone. However, in my mid 20s I finally got some opportunities to petsit for family and others. After bonding with and caring for puppies, senior dogs, the shyest cats, and even a few reptiles, I realized I have a skill I could expand. So, being fed up with boring dead-end jobs, I've decided to get back in the game of all things fluffy... or scaley or feathery. With that, I'm here to expand my knowledge and meet some cool/cute pets along the way! I'm actually aiming to get into petsitting AND housesitting (even if you don't have pets) as a proper full-time job! My availability is currently Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm. This can expand a bit depending on your needs. However, I can't guarantee weekends past Friday afternoons (~4pm). Like anyone else, I need solid and consistent Me-time in order to function! I due diligence in carrying out any/all instructions given to me by clients. I additionally have experinece in giving pet medication, anything from basic vitamin chews and eye drops to round-the-clock prescriptions. When it comes to Housesitting with your Pets, unless otherwise instructed, I'll even go as far as to bring in daily mail and may just leave your home better than when I came in (yes I clean when I'm bored).
10. Irina B.
“We are so happy to have Irina walk our two corgis now that I’m returning to an office a few days each week. I think I probably had more separation anxiety than the pups, but it’s comforting knowing they get a visit with Irina and burn off some energy. We love the photos and card updates. Looking forward to many more walks!”
11. Michelle T.
“Michelle was amazing! Her communication was superb. She was quick to respond and made me feel really comfortable that my dog was in her hands. 100% using Michelle again!”
12. Haley S.
“I can't recommend Haley enough as a pet caregiver. She goes above and beyond in providing exceptional care for animals. Haley is not just responsible; she's passionate about ensuring the well-being and happiness of each furry friend under her care. What sets Haley apart is her genuine love for animals. She takes the time to understand their unique personalities, preferences, and needs. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or just some comforting company, Haley creates a nurturing environment that makes pets feel right at home. Her attention to detail and commitment to safety are truly commendable. I've entrusted Haley with my dog Murphy multiple times, and each time, she has exceeded my expectations. From administering medication to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, Haley ensures every aspect of pet care is handled with the utmost professionalism and affection. If you're seeking a pet caregiver who treats your furry family members as her own, look no further than Haley. She's not just a reliable choice; she's a dedicated, loving, and responsible caregiver who brings joy to the lives of pets and their owners. Your pets will thank you for choosing Haley.”
13. Elena P.
“Elena is great! We've been working with her for a few months. Our 90lb dog, Hugo, has some territorial issues, so we wanted someone to work with us consistently and slowly work up to entering the house while we're away to take him for a walk. We started with Elena entering the house while our dog was crated, until he was comfortable eating from her hand. We then worked up to Elena entering the house with us, and finally entering the house and taking Hugo out while we were out of the house. Elena was great, very communicative with us, and our dog now loves her! We were away for a week around Thanksgiving, and she took him on daily hour-long walks, something we weren't sure would be possible just a few months ago. We feel totally comfortable hiring her while we're away on vacation, and trust that she'll take care of our dog extremely well. We will certainly continue to hire Elena in the future.”
14. Alberto S.
“Alberto is really caring with my pets and my pets loved him! His attention to detail is great and he kept me updated on my babies. I will definitely return for more of his services. Thanks again!”

About: I've taken care of foster dogs and cats off and on since college 20 years ago in addition to pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I have extra experience with senior and under-socialized cats. I primarily work as a personal trainer in San Francisco a few mornings a week and often have extra free time in the afternoons, evenings and when clients travel. I can't think of a better use of free time than spending it with dogs and cats while making sure they get the care they need. I love to travel so I know what a huge relief it is to have my pets well taken care of when I'm away. I know routines are very important and comforting to most animals and therefore I will always strive to follow given instructions as closely as possible. I will provide a recap of each visit including photos unless owners opt out.

About: We've loved dogs our whole lives and joined Rover with the dream of opening our own doggy daycare someday. We bring hands-on experience, having raised our two dogs—a beagle and a basset hound—from tiny pups to well-behaved adults. Our apartment building has a dog park, that provides an ideal space for quick potty breaks and playdates with other pups. Having two pups of our own, pet care is already integrated into our daily routine. We have flexible work home jobs, ensuring your pup gets enough attention & potty breaks throughout the day. We’ll always be keeping an eye on your pup. Since there’s two of us, there will always ways be someone there with them, and they’ll never be left alone.
