About: I’ve spent much of my life caring for cats and genuinely love earning their trust. I’ve had cats of my own, from raising a kitten to caring for an adult cat, and I’ve looked after cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats with extra needs. Over the years I’ve cared for as many as four cats at once and completed cat sits lasting up to eight weeks, so I’m comfortable settling into each cat’s routine. Whether your cat is social and wants constant company, shy and prefers their space, or even enjoys leash walks (yes, I’ve happily walked a cat before!), I’m happy to meet them where they are. I have experience with indoor-only and indoor/outdoor cats, and I know how important consistency is for their comfort. I’ll make sure litter boxes stay clean, meals are on schedule, medications and special instructions are followed carefully, and you’ll receive thoughtful updates while you’re away. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have kids that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.

About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!

About: I have had and cared for pets since childhood, rescuing (literally from the streets) a lovely pitbull named Olive when I lived in Philadelphia. Moved to CA in May 2026 from East Coast. I recently moved to CA to support my wife’s new job in SF. About: My pug mix Lulu will LOVE to go on walks with your dog in the Oakland hills. Lulu loves all friends and has made so many furry friends in the neighborhood in Piedmont Pines. We are very active together and go on lots of walks, hikes and I take Lulu to Joaquin Miller dog park and Fairy Land dog meet up. I'd love to take your dog along on our adventures and host your dog at my house, or go for a drop in visit with Lulu at your house. We'll have so much fun together, especially with Lulu wanting to play constantly! Your dog's comfort and safety is my priority, and I also give them so many hugs and snuggles. Since I have my 2 year old Pug mix Lulu, we have a great routine together that includes morning and afternoon walks and taking her to dog parks in the evening. She also has her best friends up the street on Ascot and we go play with them a bunch of times in the week. About: I attended veterinary technician school at Carrington College and have 9 years of experience working with a wide variety of animals. I do this because I truly love it! I’m happy to take your babies on walks, down to the beach, and care for them as if they were my own during their time with me. I’m a part-time student and work from home, which means I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! Whether it’s a midday walk, a trip to the beach, or just some cozy companionship, I love taking breaks throughout the day to care for furry friends. For cats, I know that the best way to earn their trust is to respect their space—and I’d be honored to be their work-from-home buddy (or, let’s be honest, their loyal servant). Whether your kitty wants playtime, lap time, or just someone to admire them from a respectful distance, I’m happy to oblige! I live in an apartment, so I can accommodate small to medium-sized dogs or multiple cats for boarding. I ensure dogs get plenty of walks and exercise throughout the day. For safety, I always use secure leashes on walks and closely supervise all outdoor time. While I don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will get lots of attention, playtime, and care to keep them happy and comfortable!

About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs. That allows me to give them a lot of individual attention and to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a therapist in training, so being reliable and observant is a big part of my professional life. I’m also very conscientious about following your instructions closely. I know how much the little details matter, and I make a point of keeping track of feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and the routines that help your dog feel at home. I have firsthand experience caring for an anxious dog who later developed dementia and physical limitations. Because of that, I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and dogs who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed. I understand how much patience and consistency can matter when a dog needs extra support. I’m especially available on weekends, when I can spend plenty of time with your dog rather than fitting visits around a packed schedule. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might have a quiet day at home, take neighborhood walks, or head out to places like Piedmont Park, the Albany Bulb, or the beach. I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and I want you to feel completely confident that someone is really paying attention to them. Pet care fits best into my schedule on weekends, when I have plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, companionship, and a relaxed home environment. I’m generally available from Friday evening through Sunday and can often accommodate weekend boarding or daytime care. During the week I work a regular professional schedule, so I’m intentional about only accepting bookings when I know I can provide the time and attention a pet needs. When a dog is staying with me, I want them to be part of my routine rather than squeezed into it. I take safety and trust seriously and make a point of following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure dogs have appropriate supervision, regular walks and potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m careful about feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, and any behavioral or health concerns you share with me. I also like to know about a dog’s personality, triggers, routines, and preferences ahead of time so I can help them feel comfortable and settled. If I’m caring for a pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies. I also enjoy the energy of younger dogs and live right near San Pablo park for dogs who like to socialize. I mostly work from home with occasional in person meetings during the week. I am available for pet care throughout the week and can let dogs out to the back yard throughout the day. I live in a quiet but lively neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and sniff. The back yard is fenced in and allows space to lounge in the sun. There are no other pets or humans currently in the house so it is very peaceful and quiet most of the time. I don't take dogs from more than one household at a time. I check in on the pets I care for regularly and track their emotional as well as physical needs, giving pets and butt scratches often!
