Doggy Day Care In Forestland

About: Trusted dog sitter for all of my friends and family! We call our house “Camp Rollins” (married name) because all of the dogs we sit for love to explore our wooded hills, absorb the sounds of nature from our large back deck, and snuggle on the couch with their Auntie Caitlin & Uncle Chris! We have no kids and currently no pets of our own so our dog visitors get lots of attention!! (Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and cannot care for them). Ask me if you only need pet sitting for a couple of hours. Short visits can be discounted! I work from home and can plan for walk and play breaks as needed! I do spend most of my time at my desk and will use enrichment toys to entertain dog visitors when I need to concentrate. Because we have an unfenced yard, we will take dogs on walks for potty breaks. Our house and yard do have a lot of stairs, but are happy to carry dogs under 20 pounds up and down them. Our decks have cable wire fences that are tightly secured—even very small dogs cannot fit underneath. Dogs are allowed on the furniture but not in our bed.

Your pup then has playtime with toys and with my dog Penelope if they are up for it or can snooze away. We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rocky’s. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge 😎. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

Prior to my dog’s stay at his home Chad had invited us over for a meet&greet and he took a lot of time to inquire about my dog’s character and behaviors, which made me very confident that things would be alright. Chad was also willing to accommodated my travel schedule. I am happy with the experience and hope he will be available next time I have to go out of town.”

About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have an 8 year old that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.

I also understand the importance of clear communication and sending regular updates and photos. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I currently work full time with a work from home schedule 3 days a week, which gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and extended care. I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure pets are happy and comfortable in my care. I work from home 3 days a week (M W F). And I'm home most weekends. My job is flexible so as long as I don't have meetings I can take breaks throughout the day as needed for pets. I've taken my friend's dogs on walks during my work hours and given attention to pets during their stay, treats and cuddles :) I have an open space layout so I will be able to be close to the pet and see what they're doing while I'm home.
