Pet care experience
Paradise in Panoramic Hill!
I’m a grad student at UC Berkeley excited to hang out with your pets! I’ve previously worked as a pet care professional for a Boston-based company, and I grew up around cats and dogs. I have the experience and patience to care for pets with unique needs (I have a blind cat named Polo). Throughout much of my life, I worked as a volunteer at my local shelter, where I fed and cared for cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I’ll be sure to treat all of your pets like family! You’ll also get as many daily updates and photographs as you’d like. I’m familiar with subcutaneous medication administration, including injections for diabetic dogs. I hold experience working with senior pets as well as young, energetic pups.

Grim had a great time staying with Angela for several days. Lots of hiking, fetching, and playing.
Angela was wonderful with our dog, Luna. She was taken out for multiple walks per day, and sent pictures and messages to keep me posted on how Luna was doing. I felt at ease knowing Luna was in good hands. I would not hesitate to book Angela again next time we need to board Luna!
Angela was very friendly and kind to our Lab. Luna seemed comfortable with her right away. We look forward to having Luna stay with Angela soon!

Angela was so great. She was fast to communicate while booking and provided the perfect amount of updates while we were away. Even when we needed to book an extra day at the last minute, she was gracious enough to accommodate and assisted with modifying the reservation. My dog seems like she had an awesome time and was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Angela and plan to book with her again in the future. Thanks for a great experience Angela!!
Angela was awesome with Maple. She gave daily updates and made sure that my very active dog was able to get her energy out every day. Would highly recommend/rebook in the future!

Schedule
As a grad student, my hours are flexible. I’m available to care for your pet most weekdays and weekends. For boarding and doggy daycare services, my partner (who also has years of animal care and shelter volunteering experience!) assists in the care of your pet. Much of the time, there will be an available adult home, and your pet will receive around the clock attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Providing your pet with a safe, enriching, and comfortable environment is my highest priority! With every client, I make sure to take my time establishing trust and rapport with your dog or cat to give them the most individualized and secure experience. I’ll always read all care instructions with the highest level of care and attention. If you’re looking for boarding, we’ll welcome your pet into a single-family cottage with a spacious, fully-fenced in yard. We also have two extremely friendly cats and no kids. Your pet will have open access to the entire pet-proofed home. If they need alone time or space away from people and cats, we have a room separate from the rest of the home filled with toys and cozy spots! Your pet will get regular exercise (typically at least 3-4 walks/day), play, and enrichment on top of your specified care instructions.
Pets
A typical day
For both cats and dogs, I’ll be sure to give them lots of individualized love and attention (in the form of pets, rubs, praise, etc.). I can adjust to their activity level by providing multiple walks, games of fetch, or simply just hanging out together throughout the day. If you choose a doggy daycare or boarding service, I’ll happily take your dog on multiple walks daily. Our neighborhood is full of scenic routes and lots of greenery for your dog to sniff. There’s a nature-filled hiking trail right across the street if your pup is adventurous! When they’re ready to settle down for a nap, they’ll have an array of cozy spots to choose from! Alongside a comfy couch, we have clean dog beds of all sizes. Though we also keep a collection of toys, be sure to bring your pet’s favorite toys/things to enhance their stay!
