âKelly took such wonderful care of our pup!! At 4 months old, Moose needs a LOT of play and attention (our training seems to go out the window when he's in a new place), but Kelly did an amazing job keeping him happy, loved, and up to speed with his commands. We could tell from the second we dropped him off that she knew exactly how to handle his puppy energy, and she sent us pictures and updates throughout the day to let us know how things were going. She even sent him home with his favorite snacks!! We will definitely rebook with Kelly in the future :)â

About: As a dedicated and experienced pet sitter, I am passionate about providing the best care possible for all types of pups. As a specialized pet sitter for bully breeds and small dogs, I understand the unique needs and quirks of these adorable dogs. With years of experience and a deep love for all things pup, I am committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to your furry friend. Everything from numerous short walks and playtime (temperature permitting) to feeding and medication administration, you can trust me to provide reliable and compassionate care for your dog. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. My home has ramps to access all furniture and gates to prevent pups from running up and down stairs to protect their spines and potential IVDD flare ups. Our morning starts off with a walk around the neighborhood, then itâs breakfast time which means training and play with positive reinforcement! Your pup then has playtime with toys and with my dog Penelope if they are up for it or can snooze away. We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rockyâs. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge đ. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

About: Trusted dog sitter for all of my friends and family! We call our house âCamp Rollinsâ (married name) because all of the dogs we sit for love to explore our wooded hills, absorb the sounds of nature from our large back deck, and snuggle on the couch with their Auntie Caitlin & Uncle Chris! We have no kids and currently no pets of our own so our dog visitors get lots of attention!! (Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and cannot care for them). I work from home and can plan for walk and play breaks as needed! I do spend most of my time at my desk and will use enrichment toys to entertain dog visitors when I need to concentrate. Because we have an unfenced yard, we will take dogs on walks for potty breaks. Our house and yard do have a lot of stairs, but are happy to carry dogs under 20 pounds up and down them. Our decks have cable wire fences that are tightly securedâeven very small dogs cannot fit underneath. Dogs are allowed on the furniture but not in our bed.

âJeff and Beth did a great job with my gentle giant Great Pyrenees. They even let him enjoy being a lapdog, and sent me tons of pictures of his adventures.â

âMeagan was wonderful! We had a last-minute need for care on Thanksgiving for Rory, our 6-month-old Husky mix, and Meagan really helped us out. We scheduled a meet and greet for the prior Sunday so that Rory could meet the other doggo friends she'd be spending the day with. Rory loved sniffing around the backyard and eating plants (sorry!!). Meagan watched her all day on Thanksgiving, and based on the photos she shared, Rory clearly had a blast! We're really grateful for the care that day, and to have such a great option for future care. Thanks, Meagan!â

âOur dog Zella took to Bobby right away. When we dropped her off for daycare she barely looked back before heading off with Bobby and she came home from her adventures exhausted and happy. Bobby has been so communicative and on top of things. Really appreciate that he reviewed our care notes before our meet and greet. This has been an awesome experience, we will definitely book with Bobby again!!â

âKrishna and her partner provided excellent care, attention and affection for my husky during my stay in S.F. They brought their sweet dog Milo out for meet and greet, all went well and my dog had a great stay. Highly recommended!â

âI feel so lucky to have found Daniela! My dog is almost 13 and he loves seeing her and is always calm and well taken care of when I pick him up. Daniela communicates clearly, sends updates and pictures, and I feel her sincere care for my pup.â

About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.

âMaya is a wonderful dog sitter & human! She took such good care of my senior dog, especially after I told her about some recent health issues heâs experiencing. She kept a close eye on him, keeping him super safe & keeping me updated throughout the day. Thank you so much Maya, for loving my baby and keeping him safe!â

âCassandra is the best! Sheâs my go to sitter for my very nervous and needy pup. Cassandra is so understanding and calm with her, sends photos and videos, and my dog is always happy with her time there.â

About: Im on the hill or at the creek at least three hours a day - I work remotely so I don't have to leave anyone without companionship. Pet care IS MY LIFE..... I finally decided to share myself - It takes a village and animals should be shared and socialized. My dog is my shadow and he does well with a companion. I am a super hiker and choose trails that are off the beaten path so as not to deal with crazy dog walker crowds - I only want one dog beside my Duda.
âChad took excellent care of my young and energetic greyhound with a lot of separation anxiety. When I picked her up she was happy and excited, but she didnât show any signs of distress. Prior to my dogâs stay at his home Chad had invited us over for a meet&greet and he took a lot of time to inquire about my dogâs character and behaviors, which made me very confident that things would be alright. Chad was also willing to accommodated my travel schedule. I am happy with the experience and hope he will be available next time I have to go out of town.â

About: I've had dogs and pets in some capacity or another throughout my life and have loved being Sister-2-Legs to each of my four-legged siblings. I have cared for a variety of animals from young to old, mostly cats and dogs, a bird, and a few rabbits. More recently, it's been a mix of senior dogs and puppies. I'm used to balancing puppy training versus the possible complex needs of senior dogs. My own sweet spaniel passed last year, and he lost both his sight and his hearing as he aged, which presented a few challenges but was a very valuable learning experience. I'm comfortable with all ages and stages of life and love spoiling every single furred family member I care for. I adapt my schedule around your pet's needs and routines. Please message me for schedule details. I may be able to offer drop-ins, walks, or daycare either in your home or at my doggy daycare outside of the time slots listed. Daycare: My yard is fully fenced with a grass area for all kinds of running and toy play time. Everyone is welcome to sprawl out on the furniture both indoors and outside. Your dog is given as much attention and love as if they were my own. I look forward to welcoming new furry friends! Housesitting: My preference for my animals has always been to keep them in their home environment where they feel the most safe and secure. I will follow all their daily routines and any other directions provided and treat their space as if it were my own. Depending on your preference, hikes, beach trips, and other special activities can be added to the daily standards of belly rubs, walkies, and cuddles. As I also have a doggy daycare, it would be great if your pets are dog-friendly and able to participate in daycare during our stay!
âSydney was very happy with Kit. She has two friendly dogs and a beautiful home with tons of outdoor space perfectly suited for sunbathing and sniffing. Will definitely bring my pup back for a repeat visit!â

âAnother great stay with Sophia! My dog can sometimes be too nervous to eat when she's away from home even ate her dinner at Sophia's place - a good sign that she's relaxed.â

Montclair Business dog parents share their Rover experiences
We have a really shy/sensitive mini-Aussie doodle whoâs nervous around new people. Anchisa and her partner Michael were so so kind to let us visit with them before booking to âtest the watersâ. We were so genuinely surprised at how quickly our pup settled in! Weâve already booked for a second sitting session! Thanks so much â¤ď¸

Nasreddine and her bf were friendly and efficient with the drop off and return! Both dogs only stayed a couple hours but seemed to enjoy their time with their hosts! Above all, Nasreddine was SO understanding, flexible, and accommodating. My dogs escaped that morning and it was a flurry of whether I needed to cancel or not. Luckily, they came back after their little adventure and Nasreddine was happy to watch them even after all the chaos. Thank yooou!!

Jason and his wife are some of the nicest people. They took good care of my pups during their stay. Kept me updated and very accommodating. I ran into some last minute work situations on the day of my pups' stay and was going to be late to our agreed and planned pick up time. Jason accommodated to my late arrival request and assured me the pups will be well taken care of in the extra hour. Will definitely come back should I ever need a sitter again!

Autumn was an amazing sitter for our pup over the holidays. We arranged a meet and greet ahead of time so Miso had a chance to meet her dog and see the space. She was a great communicator and very responsive. We needed her sitting a little past the typical rover evening cutoff and she was happy to accommodate. Our pup was a little sad when we left him but Autumn took a bunch of steps to make him feel comfortable and he soon settled in. We highly recommend Autumn if you want personalized service and care for your pup!

Sophia is wonderful. My dog clearly felt safe & comfortable around her. She is a gem & I would definitely use her again. She provided clear descriptions of how my senior goldendoodle behaved during the sit. I am grateful for her outstanding care. She is a genuine pet lover.
I boarded RaKi with Anand for about a week, and I would definitely recommend him as an amazing caretaker. He was very communicative, responsive, and upfront about any concerns he noticed, while still handling everything calmly and confidently which was incredibly reassuring, especially with RaKi being just 4 months old and me being a new pup parent. Anand showed genuine care and love toward RaKi, and he kept me updated regularly with photos and behavior notes. I truly appreciated the attention, transparency, and kindness he put into caring for my puppy. He even sent RaKi home with a couple of toys he enjoyed during his stay, such a thoughtful gesture! Highly recommend Anand!

Robert did a great job caring for my dog - his communication was excellent and he kindly shared updates and pictures throughout the day. He was willing to let us book a day visit in advance of a longer stay to help our dog get more comfortable, which I really appreciated. Thank you!

Camille is truly a dog lover. After our dog Hazel came back from her care, she was eating well and acting just like her normal selfâwhich tells me Camille showered her with lots of love and attention. It gave us so much peace of mind to know Hazel was in such good hands. Next time weâre in Berkeley, weâd be more than happy to trust Hazel with Camille again! Thank you!
