I care deeply about animals and treat every pet as I would my own. Along with fostering dogs, I share my home with my gentle 5 year-old dog, which has taught me how important patience, kindness, and thoughtful caregiving is. I’m very attentive to routines, emotional cues, and what helps each dog feel secure. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, and I aim to create a calm, loving environment where dogs feel relaxed, understood, and truly secure. I had a dog growing up so I’m extremely comfortable with and around dogs. In fact, I think I communicate with them better than humans :) I'm usually available most days since I work from home. And sometimes on weekends as well. If you’re looking for someone last minute, feel free to ping me and I will try responding within the hour. Looking forward to long playtimes and walks with your pups and dogs! And maybe some basic commands as well, if desired :) PS I could potentially do overnight house sitting as well, but would have to consider it on a case by case basis. Sorry about that!

I care for pets in a calm, loving, and closely supervised environment. In my home, dogs have access to a secure yard for safe outdoor time and a sunny deck where they can relax and enjoy fresh air. Pets are never left alone - there’s always companionship, either from me or my friendly 5-year-old resident dog who genuinely enjoys the company of all animals. I’m very thoughtful about safety, routines, and comfort, and I pay close attention to how each pet is feeling throughout the day. My resident dog does have mild separation anxiety and is currently in training, which means I’m especially mindful about creating a steady, reassuring environment and managing transitions gently and responsibly. In your home, I follow all instructions closely and focus on maintaining familiar routines, minimizing stress, and keeping pets safe and comfortable in their own space.

Having known Arti as a colleague, a friend, and as a loving dog caregiver, I would recommend her to anyone for her reliability, competence, compassion, and her sense of responsibility. Arti commits herself fully to the tasks she has at hand and I have never see her shy away from assuming full responsibility for anything she has committed herself to. You can expect her to be reliable, punctual, thorough, responsible, compassionate, and loving. I have always known her to love dogs and she tends to have great chemistry with most dogs. A large mixed-breed dog that my roommate had that was anxious around most strangers and would growl at them took an instant liking to Arti and would happily follow her around. Arti makes an effort to let dogs warm up to her and treats them with respect and empathy. Lastly, I have known Arti to care deeply for the animals that she takes care of and she would do her best to ensure their safety and comfort.

Pet care fits very naturally into my day. I work from home and set my own schedule, so I’m around throughout the day for walks, meals, playtime, cuddles, and check-ins. Pets are never left alone if they are at my place, and I enjoy building my day around their routines so they feel comfortable and cared for.
