About: I have been around and taking care of animals since I was a kid! Growing up on my grandmas farm with 7 dogs, 5 horses, 9 cats and about 50 llamas taught me how to properly care for animals of all kinds, and how they can also take care of you! I had a pug named Fergus growing up and have lived with a pitbull mix for about 6 years, who I love to care for. I have also always had cats and have raised 3 rabbits! I love animals of all kinds, I can’t wait to meet yours ! I am an art student, and would love to care for your pet in my free time ! I’m available weekends and afternoons mon-friday ! I am not currently available available to host pets in my home but would love to visit your pet in your home to feed, give love and attention and let them out to run around and play games !

About: Hi! We are two animal lovers who have had pets of all kinds throughout our lives. Chrystal has raised dogs, cats, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, and other small furry creatures. Daniel was raised on many acres with many furry and farm animals as pets. Our family consists of ourselves, 2 kids, and 2 adorable cats. Our sweet, large goof of a dog recently passed and we miss him dearly. We both work from home with a flexible schedule, so have plenty of opportunity to support your family's needs. We both have years of experience dog and cat sitting. We are comfortable and experienced with all breeds and ages and can provide medication as needed. Daniel is also uniquely skilled with larger dogs who need extra support, confidence, or attention when walking or near others. If your pet is not comfortable with kids and/or cats we can easily accommodate with scheduling and separation. Reach out with any questions and we look forward to meeting your furry family! We work from home with a flexible schedule and so can easily schedule time away during the day. One of us is available evenings as well. In the winter months we are away for the weekend, so only available weekdays (Sun eve - Fri midday) We like to know from you what makes your pet the most comfortable in their space. Any guidance is appreciated! We leave a space cleaner than we found it and are natural organizers. If you are traveling, We are particularly thoughtful about how you'd like to leave the house with lights on\off, etc.

About: I am the go to “dog auntie” for my friends and family and am always the first to volunteer to care for friends and families pets. I grew up with dogs for my whole life and truly love spending time with them. I have had experience dog sitting, fostering, walking and doing dog check ins with various types of dogs (from puppies to seniors and small(Chihuahua) to big(German Shepard)). I work remote most days and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. I always aim to go on a daily walk or hike in the neighborhood and would love to be able to bring your dog along! I am more than happy to take your pup out for a walk or to do home check ins to feed them, let them out, provide medication etc. I hope to hear from you and to get the chance to meet your pet! About: Grew up with dogs, in my 20’s adopted a dog of my own and we spent almost 15 years together. Dogs are simple but empathetic and require patience and care just like anything else, I’ve pet sat for many friends and family members and love the opportunity to make new friends. I recently was laid off so my schedule is wide open for pet care, I am hoping to keep myself busy since the job market has been so bleak despite me applying far and wide daily. I am available full time for any pet needs! Walks, play time, feeding or simply being a presence for a shy or hesitant pet. I am well seasoned in all things pets be it clean up or medicine. Aside from caring for my own cats and dogs over the years, I have provided pet care and sitting for many friends and family members. I understand pets are part of the family and require social interaction and love and always make sure to spend time socializing and playing. I am open to check-ins, overnights or a combo of both. I love instruction but also can take the wheel if needed! I think it’s important to follow the pets existing routine as close as possible to ease anxiety.

About: Looooove animals, especially cats. Grew up surrounded by them at my grandma’s little farm, then when my mom and I lived in the city. Didn’t matter where; we always had pets. Recently moved to Oakland to be near my sister, and now working as a personal assistant to one family. Worked as a hotel trainer for many years and this is the first time I have some extra time. And I thought to myself, what better way to have fun with the extra hours than to meet the pets in Oakland! I am experienced in taking care of cats and dogs, from feeding to grooming to playtime and walks as well as giving pills and trimming nails. I can do drop-in visits with your furbabies or walk your doggies anytime before 9am or after 330pm on weekdays, and any time at all on weekends. I make them feel special and loved during drop-in visits. Lots of pets and scritches and if allowed, belly rubs and brushing. Maybe a treat or two, some play time. I typically follow the pet parents instructions on feeding, grooming, etc. And making sure their fur baby is well.

About: I was born and raised in Norway. I grew up with dogs and came to love animals from an early age. I think the early connection to animals have stayed with me, and I light up when I get to spend time with pets. Ever since coming to California in my early twenties it became clear that because I traveled quite a bit I couldn't have pets myself. So I have taken care of dogs and cats and other pets when my friends have gone traveling, either at my house or at their house. Caring for animals for periods of time was something I really enjoyed. I took them with me when I went places and they became part of my life. I am an independent researcher who works with gathering practices and women’s livelihoods and how it pertains to conservation, mainly in Africa. I work remotely and will either be writing articles or grant applications. I adjust well to new places and situations, I am organized and a good communicator. Also, I genuinely care for animals and pets and I selfishly think they give more to me than I give to them. I work part time remotely, so I can schedule my time around pet sits and taking care of animals. I have time on weekdays as well as weekends, mornings or evenings. Being in your home I would follow the instructions you give me, whether that’s feeding or walking times. I work from home, and enjoy having pets around. I ensure the pet is feeling safe and tended to, and show care for them (as they may wonder who the stranger is). I am clean and organized, and take care of your home in the way I would care for my own home. I’m also a good communicator and will send you photos of us!

About: I’ve had pets for 14 years ranging from small dogs, to cats, to rats and hamsters. In the last year, my family has dog sat for friends on vacation and foster puppies. My daughters (age 10 and 12) are particularly obsessed with small dogs, and regularly walk several of our neighbors dogs. We would love to welcome yours into our home. I work from home M-W-F and someone is usually home most weekends. We all love snuggling up with dogs as we work, watch movies, as well as taking them on walks or jogs in our neighborhood. I have a big fenced in yard, lots of space inside where the dogs can roam freely and safely without getting into trouble. They would also have my two daughters to play with, who are old enough to understand how to engage with dogs playfully but also know when to give them space. And are young enough to be home most of the time on weekends and evenings!
