About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

In all situations, I lead with compassion for the animal first :) My work schedule is flexible and largely work-from-home with no location requirement, meaning I am easily able to housesit with a pet on most days. However, I am happy to housesit, and can also provide plant care if needed! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks, play, and pets. I am able to accommodate to the dog’s that I’m watching schedule. About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. About: I’ve had pets for 14 years ranging from small dogs, to cats, to rats and hamsters. In the last year, my family has dog sat for friends on vacation and foster puppies. My daughters (age 10 and 12) are particularly obsessed with small dogs, and regularly walk several of our neighbors dogs. We would love to welcome yours into our home. I work from home M-W-F and someone is usually home most weekends. We all love snuggling up with dogs as we work, watch movies, as well as taking them on walks or jogs in our neighborhood. About: Looooove animals, especially cats. Grew up surrounded by them at my grandma’s little farm, then when my mom and I lived in the city. Didn’t matter where; we always had pets. Recently moved to Oakland to be near my sister, and now working as a personal assistant to one family. Worked as a hotel trainer for many years and this is the first time I have some extra time. And I thought to myself, what better way to have fun with the extra hours than to meet the pets in Oakland! I am experienced in taking care of cats and dogs, from feeding to grooming to playtime and walks as well as giving pills and trimming nails. I can do drop-in visits with your furbabies or walk your doggies anytime before 9am or after 330pm on weekdays, and any time at all on weekends. I make them feel special and loved during drop-in visits. Lots of pets and scritches and if allowed, belly rubs and brushing. Maybe a treat or two, some play time. I typically follow the pet parents instructions on feeding, grooming, etc. And making sure their fur baby is well.

As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

We were a bit apprehensive as Phoebe has separation anxiety but she was happily occupied with multiple walks and so much love! Robert's level of conscientiousness is unmatched and we completely entrust him with Phoebe's health and safety, including keeping her away from other dogs so her reactiveness isn't triggered. We couldn't ask for more!”

“Baxter had a great first stay with Kristen and Ryan! He took advantage of various comfy lounging spots in their home as well as sunbathing in their backyard. Baxter was in great shape when I returned. Kristin and Ryan are very friendly and kind, and their communications were clear throughout. I received updates with pictures at least once a day, as requested. I greatly appreciated their flexibility to extend Baxter's stay a bit and coordinate a different pickup arrangement when my trip plans changed. I would certainly book with them again!”

“Maria & Kevan along with their wonderful girls were amazing petsitters for our Labrador Retreiver, Louie. From the moment I dropped off Louie and met them, I could tell he was going to be completely comfortable, well-cared for, and loved for the duration of his 10 day stay with their family. Receiving a photo or two of Louie each day was amazing and it was heartwarming to see Louie so happy getting lots of snuggles, playtime with his toys, neighborhood walks, and peaceful naps at their feet. “Truly such a great experience for my dog. Stephanie was so nice and flexible with my schedule. I needed a last min booking and Stephanie truly went above and beyond to help accommodate and give my dog a great time. She exposed my pup to some new activities, like bike riding, which he loved!! It was also my pups birthday when she took care of him and she even gave him a little homemade peanut butter lick mat to celebrate.
