Since I specialize in making natural pet treats, your pup or kitty will have endless treats during their stay! We have a separate, private room specifically available for pets who prefer their own space or need a quiet environment away from our friendly resident Maltipoo. We are cat-friendly and highly experienced with large breeds (up to 80lbs). That span taught me to tune in to each dog's needs by age and personality: the gentleness a senior needs, the structure a young dog needs, the patience a puppy needs. I walk, play, and cuddle; I also handle medications, feeding, and even home-cooked meals when needed. It means I tend to click with new dogs fast. These days I don't have animals of my own, which makes the time I get with clients' pets feel like a gift. This is also my full-time work — no day job pulling me away. I feel really lucky. I'd love to chat about what your family needs. When I'm house sitting, your pet is my home base. I may step out for a walk or two with another client during the day, but your baby's routine comes first and they get the bulk of my time, love, and care. When I'm not house sitting, I'm available every day after 11am for walks and drop-ins from Oakland up to the El Cerrito areas. To keep things safe and comfortable, I never walk dogs from different households together. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: I’ve had pets for 14 years ranging from small dogs, to cats, to rats and hamsters. In the last year, my family has dog sat for friends on vacation and foster puppies. My daughters (age 10 and 12) are particularly obsessed with small dogs, and regularly walk several of our neighbors dogs. We would love to welcome yours into our home. I work from home M-W-F and someone is usually home most weekends. We all love snuggling up with dogs as we work, watch movies, as well as taking them on walks or jogs in our neighborhood. I have a big fenced in yard, lots of space inside where the dogs can roam freely and safely without getting into trouble. They would also have my two daughters to play with, who are old enough to understand how to engage with dogs playfully but also know when to give them space. And are young enough to be home most of the time on weekends and evenings!

I am on a hybrid work schedule and am home a majority of the week. I am an outdoors enthusiast and spend a majority of my time on hikes and long walks with my dog. Otherwise I am a home body and can easily adapt to your pet’s needs! I live in an apartment with quick and easy access to dog parks, hiking trails, and safe walking routes. Although I cannot provide an immediate fenced yard, I am capable of giving your dog adequate excercise, potty breaks, and enriching activities so that they go home happy and exhausted!

About: Ciao! My name is Matt and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to meet you and some of the amazing pets we have here in the city. I currently live near the rose garden/Piedmont. I live close to several other parks, and I always enjoy meeting new pet friends that come my way. I really don't have many restrictions, but all I ask is that if you are interested in meeting to discuss my services that we have great communication (whether it's email, call/text, etc.) I work from home during the week and actively get outside myself, so I'm sure we could work something out if you need help with your pet! Comfort and exercise go hand-in-hand in my experience. Play time and treats are always possible. Companionship is a must and routine is our next best friend.
