About: Hi! We are two animal lovers who have had pets of all kinds throughout our lives. Chrystal has raised dogs, cats, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, and other small furry creatures. Daniel was raised on many acres with many furry and farm animals as pets. Our family consists of ourselves, 2 kids, and 2 adorable cats. Our sweet, large goof of a dog recently passed and we miss him dearly. We both work from home with a flexible schedule, so have plenty of opportunity to support your family's needs. We both have years of experience dog and cat sitting. We are comfortable and experienced with all breeds and ages and can provide medication as needed. Daniel is also uniquely skilled with larger dogs who need extra support, confidence, or attention when walking or near others. If your pet is not comfortable with kids and/or cats we can easily accommodate with scheduling and separation. Reach out with any questions and we look forward to meeting your furry family! We work from home with a flexible schedule and so can easily schedule time away during the day. One of us is available evenings as well. In the winter months we are away for the weekend, so only available weekdays (Sun eve - Fri midday) We like to know from you what makes your pet the most comfortable in their space. Any guidance is appreciated! We leave a space cleaner than we found it and are natural organizers. If you are traveling, We are particularly thoughtful about how you'd like to leave the house with lights on\off, etc.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: I’ve fostered and volunteered with a wide variety of animals over the last 10 years including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and farm animals. I’ve worked with a variety of ages (neonatal to senior), treated a variety of medical conditions (requiring medications, injections, and inhalers), and cared for animals of all temperaments (dog reactive, anxious, etc.) I’m currently a full time student at Berkeley Law but I’m usually on campus for only 5 or so hours a day. During the summer, I will be working remotely. On weekends, I am available all day. I will ensure that your pet stays in their usual routine while providing them plenty of love and attention. I will respect the animals boundaries in your home and build trust by creating a safe environment while you are gone.

I’m very attentive to pets’ routines and comfort levels, and I always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I also understand the importance of clear communication and sending regular updates and photos. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I currently work full time with a work from home schedule 3 days a week, which gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and extended care. I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure pets are happy and comfortable in my care. I work from home 3 days a week (M W F). And I'm home most weekends. My job is flexible so as long as I don't have meetings I can take breaks throughout the day as needed for pets. I've taken my friend's dogs on walks during my work hours and given attention to pets during their stay, treats and cuddles :) I have an open space layout so I will be able to be close to the pet and see what they're doing while I'm home.

Our house stays very clean and free of hazardous clutter for foragey pups. We have a gated side yard for pups to play in. I have a well behaved small dog who loves to have play mates! He’s neutered and vaxxed.

About: Howdy! My name's Rachel, I'm new to the area. I am a lover of all animals, but especially dogs. I grew up with a lovable and energetic Akita, so I have a big love for larger dogs. During walks, I prioritize safety first by using secure leashes, following your preferred routes, and adjusting pace and distance to your dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Walks include positive reinforcement, sniff time, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for by providing fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection. I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and always leave things tidy. I provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
