We treat every animal like part of our family and understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone you trust. I am the primary caregiver and fully responsible for all services, scheduling, communication, and safety. My daughter joins me for walks and visits when appropriate, under my supervision, and absolutely adores spending time with animals. She has grown up around pets and is gentle, patient, and respectful of their needs. We’re especially great with dogs who enjoy extra attention, calm companionship, and consistency. I plan my schedule around dog walks and drop-in visits after school and work so that pets receive reliable, on-time care and unhurried attention. Anytime after 5pm M-F and Saturday and Sundays we are pretty open, just send a request and we will do our best to accommodate you and your fur baby. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I accept to ensure each pet (including our own fur babies) gets the time, patience, and care they deserve. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care while maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I am the primary caregiver and personally handle all walks, visits, communication, and safety. My daughter may accompany me at times under my supervision and helps provide extra love and companionship, but all care decisions and responsibilities are mine. During walks, I prioritize safety first by using secure leashes, following your preferred routes, and adjusting pace and distance to your dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Walks include positive reinforcement, sniff time, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for by providing fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection. I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and always leave things tidy. I provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Every pet is treated like a member of our family, with patience, kindness, and consistency.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. About: Hi! We are two animal lovers who have had pets of all kinds throughout our lives. Chrystal has raised dogs, cats, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, and other small furry creatures. Daniel was raised on many acres with many furry and farm animals as pets. Our family consists of ourselves, 2 kids, and 2 adorable cats. Our sweet, large goof of a dog recently passed and we miss him dearly. We both work from home with a flexible schedule, so have plenty of opportunity to support your family's needs. We both have years of experience dog and cat sitting. We are comfortable and experienced with all breeds and ages and can provide medication as needed. Daniel is also uniquely skilled with larger dogs who need extra support, confidence, or attention when walking or near others. We specialized in smaller breeds (20 lbs & under) with separation anxiety & definitely have a soft spot for doodles as well.😅 We are proud to say that we’re experienced, loving and extremely responsible animal lovers who believe pets are our kids……so much so that our vets said we are one of the best pet owners they’ve encountered and love to be our “kids” in their next lives.🤣 We are not the type of sitters who host excessive number of dogs at once. As a matter of fact, we intentionally keep our guest list small so we may focus constant supervision and individualized love to each little ones coming across our hands. We focus heavily on safety, trust, love & positive energy over anything else. As loving pet parents, we understand it’s a huge decision when you have to leave your fur babies in strangers' hands. Rest assured we hold up to our words, we’ll love and care for them just like our own! Our goal is to always put ourselves in your shoes and their paws😆 and provide the best-pampered care for your babies and peace of mind while you’re away. Since we're home all day, we’re generally flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We firmly believe that communication and mutual respect are the foundation of any great relationships. To keep our schedule open for committed clients, non-responsive owners (no reply within 2 hours of initial contact) will be archived and blocked from future bookings. Daycare is capped at 9 hours, If you need a longer time frame, please use overnight boarding option. (you're still able to pick up your pup on the same day, of course). Hourly care is also available at $25/hour (2 hour minimum). We’re usually flexible with schedules as long as clear communication is maintained! 😃 On a typical day, we enjoy countless cuddles and safe play in our super secure yard. Unlike some daycares that leave dogs out in the hot sun all day, we spend most of our time inside a cool, matted play space. We also enjoy visiting local parks when time permits. For safety precaution, we NEVER visit any public off-leash dog parks. Therefore, we might not be the best fit for your pup if they’re accustomed to off-leash outings or long walks. There is always someone home 24/7. Our yard is securely fenced, with ample lawn and play area. There are plenty of outdoor opportunities with IN PERSON supervised playtime at ALL TIMES to keep your little ones safe, active & happy. The interior is padded with floor mats for safe playing, slip & fall prevention (great for senior pups). We also have a separate ground floor guest quarter that’s perfect for cats, rabbits and caged babies who do not wish to interact with dogs as we do have the sweetest senior Shih Tzu rescue, Augustina🐶. She likes all new friends but minds her own business most of the time. Given that said, your babies must be human friendly.😅
