About: I’ve spent much of my life caring for animals and genuinely love earning their trust. In high school, I worked in dog and cat boarding at a local veterinary practice, where I gained hands on experience caring for pets with different personalities, temperaments, and needs. Since then, I’ve continued pet and house sitting for friends, family, and clients, volunteered with shelter dogs and cats through the PSPCA, and cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, iguanas, ducks, quail, chickens, and fish. After spending the past eight months traveling and pet sitting, I’ve recently made the Bay Area my home. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets like family, communicate thoughtfully, and leave your home just as clean and cared for as you left it. My schedule is currently very flexible! I am especially interested in connecting with those in need of in home sitters while I am traveling, but open to day time walks and visits as well. I am a former real estate broker, used to have my own small business. I am taking some time out to work on my art, learn some tech skills, and travel. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time as my apartment would require a hefty deposit. I am looking forward to working and traveling while using this app!

About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! At one point, my family had up to four dogs at a time. I also have taken care of other animals (lizards, cats, fish) for neighbors, friends, and random job postings found online! I am capable of bathing, walking, feeding, giving medications/ treatments, socializing, or whatever you need for your pets! I am currently in school online and taking some time off of work! This leaves me with extreme flexibility to take care of your animals. Every pet and pet parent is unique! As long as you give me the gist of what your pet needs, I am happy to provide that.

About: I grew up with cats, at one point having three in the family house. Later, I became a dog lover after rescuing a very high-energy Terrier mix. I have availability Tues and Thurs morning to midday and Mon, Wed, and Fri afternoons. I am also available weekends (flexible timing/open availability). About: I've been taking care of pups and kitties since I was about 8 yrs old! I've learned how to identify triggers and/or warning signs with this experience. Hello ☺️ I just moved to the Bay Area and I'm a pawrent to one pup and two kitties! I just got my degree in Video Production/Film and will be freelancing when I can, which means my schedule is very open!! My current availability for drop-in visits and pup walking is Monday- Sunday 6am-10pm, unless it's a blocked out date. I would prefer to have a meet & greet before any booking. This helps me understand how to properly care for each pet. I always want to make sure that each furry friend, fur parent, and myself feels comfortable before hand. Whenever I drop in to visit, I make sure to do what ever is asked in regards to caring for your furry babies! Potty breaks. Making sure they are fed. Cuddle sessions! And of course making sure that I leave everything how it was before I arrived.

About: Hi! We are two animal lovers who have had pets of all kinds throughout our lives. Chrystal has raised dogs, cats, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, and other small furry creatures. Daniel was raised on many acres with many furry and farm animals as pets. Our family consists of ourselves, 2 kids, and 2 adorable cats. Our sweet, large goof of a dog recently passed and we miss him dearly. We both work from home with a flexible schedule, so have plenty of opportunity to support your family's needs. We both have years of experience dog and cat sitting. We are comfortable and experienced with all breeds and ages and can provide medication as needed. Daniel is also uniquely skilled with larger dogs who need extra support, confidence, or attention when walking or near others. If your pet is not comfortable with kids and/or cats we can easily accommodate with scheduling and separation. Reach out with any questions and we look forward to meeting your furry family! We work from home with a flexible schedule and so can easily schedule time away during the day. One of us is available evenings as well. In the winter months we are away for the weekend, so only available weekdays (Sun eve - Fri midday) We like to know from you what makes your pet the most comfortable in their space. Any guidance is appreciated! We leave a space cleaner than we found it and are natural organizers. If you are traveling, We are particularly thoughtful about how you'd like to leave the house with lights on\off, etc.

About: I’ve always loved animals, for their big hearts and one of a kind personality traits. My family had a Rottweiler when I was a child and she always felt like the little sister I never had. My hours are flexible so I’m open to meeting your requirements to watch over your pet. I currently don’t have any pets at the moment, so having the opportunity to cuddle up & spend some time making a new furry friend would be a treat. Overall, I’m very passionate when it comes to the safety & well-being of your pets, so I look forward to providing I am currently a freelance filmmaker, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m available for boarding on the weekdays, Saturdays from 10am-4pm and Sundays after 3pm it's important for me to understand the type of pet I'm caring for so that i can gauge what type of activities they're into. I love being outdoors, so if your pet is active then i can take them to some of my favorite hiking trails that are near your home. If they're homebodies then I'll typically play some tug-o-war, or fetch with their favorite toys until they're tired. Then i'll feed them and chill out.

About: Apart from owning and taken care of (and training) my own dogs for over 15 years, I am also a go to dog walker/sitter for many of my friends and family. I have taken care of dogs with various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I love to hike and go on runs with my dogs, so I know how to make a fun, tiring activity while still maintaining safety and care. I currently work part-time from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am able to always have eyes on your pup. I am usually available for last minute requests on weekdays and weekends. My apartment has various grassy areas for dogs to run around and sniff in! While I can take the dogs on hikes, I always keep them on leash and on the built path. I also try my best to avoid other dogs unless stated clearly that their interactions are okay

About: We are a family of dog lovers who love going on walks in our local redwoods. Our fur baby Rollo has been with us for over 7 years since he was a puppy, from Switzerland to California. I work from home occasionally and have lots of space in our bed for Rollos friends to sleep over in! I hybrid work, so I’ve flexibility to be at home with your pups. Our family typically goes on hikes at the weekend and would love to bring your fur-babies out with us. I am available for boarding both weekdays and weekends I have an open back yard, but bring Rollo for leashed walks at least 2x per day and can bring your fur baby with us. We have a big open field across the street for fetch. I have experience with crate trained dogs (rollo was until we moved to California) but also have lots of couches and beds for your pup to lie on. About: Since 2011, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds...puppies to seniors, from Pomeranians to Labradors, to Siamese cats. I truly enjoy being around animals and offer dog daycare, pet sitting and dog boarding. I share my home with Lola, a large, goofy, and very friendly pup who gets along with everyone—humans and dogs alike. As a result, I’m only able to board dogs who are also dog-friendly. I am also available for drop in visits (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more...no snakes tho. I work from home so I am available for boarding and drop-in visits any day as long as I received advance notice, otherwise I am pretty flexible. My home is your dog home while you are away. It is dog proof, with no sharp corners, many rugs, and use of gates to limit room access when needed, I live in the neighborhood of Montclair in Oakland, a house with a garden and surrounded by nature.

About: Available for Drop-in, Pet Sitting & walks for your dogs and cats. Experienced with large dogs. I have a +60lb pit/staffy rescue. He has anxiety around other dogs so I am accustomed to managing that in public, working to decrease associated behaviors, and highly cognizant of the space/surrounding I have the dog in. I am also experienced with cats. I have 2 currently from a rehoming/divorce situation a couple years ago. I have open availability Sunday-Wednesday, limited availability Thursday and Friday. Please inquire. With 3+ weeks notice, I can have open availability. I am able to housesit and do drop-ins as well in Oakland and surrounding cities. Caring for your pet is extremely important to me. I understand they are your baby/family and treat them as such. With standard care, I also provide enrichment and basic treating to ensure the best bonding and care.
