About: I have had my own cats for about ten years and had farm cats and dogs as a child. My cat recently passed and I am not quite ready to adopt another but want to help others in the mean time! As of right now I’m boarding a sweet female cat for a friend and have been for about a month but she will be going back home in the next few weeks! I live in a studio apartment so I am able to board small to medium animals. I am off just two days otherwise I am available in afternoons after I am off work! Let me know if you have additional questions about my experience or availability! I work full time in San Francisco so I usually leave pretty early in the morning and get back home early afternoon Wednesday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday I am off but run a few errands. When I had my kitty she would usually feed wet food in the morning and leave some dry food for the day, then when I got home I would leave out some more wet food for the night. I of course have a water fountain and plenty of toys and scratchers for the day and have some play time when I get home. I have a studio apartment so not much room for a big dog but I do have a quiet neighborhood for walks and a gated backyard for play time. Cats should be no issue in the apartment with all the toys and scratchers I have!

About: Through having dogs myself, dog walking, and taking care of friends dogs for the past 9 years I have experience sitting, walking, and playing with dogs. In the past year I have adopted the sweetest dog named Cariño, a 35 pound terrier mix, and have cared for them through their puppy stages and now into adulthood! I primarily have experience with dogs weighing 10-60 pounds and dogs of all ages. I'm good at taking control of a situation and can also understand when a dog is scared, upset, or just needs a break. I have a car so I can come to you and live walking distance from Lake Merritt. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to go on hikes, walks, or check in on your pup! I am flexible during weekdays and am unavailable on weekends currently. I have experience raising my own currently one and a half year dog. I can easily crate your dog and leave them well-rested. I do not let dogs go outside unleashed unless there are specific instructions to do so. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule so I am happy to make things work with your pet needs whether it's morning, middle of the day, or early evenings. I am not accepting pets in my home because we have a dog and a cat who are a bit sensitive to other pet friends.

About: I have experience with cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, & ages! I currently have an extremely cute and well-behaved 10yo black cat, but primarily grew up with dogs as well. My parents have 2 golden doodles in the family and I have trained 3 puppies over the past 7 years. I have experience caring for pups ranging from 150lb English Mastiffs to 6lb Papillons. I’m currently job seeking and new to the area, so I have plenty of time throughout the day to play with your animals! Seeking both regular and flexible opportunities. I care for my own pets by making sure their wants and needs are met. I love spending time outdoors and love going for hikes with my own pets.

About: Leaving your pet with someone new takes trust. My goal is to help you feel informed and reassured while giving your pet patient, attentive care that respects their personality, routine, and boundaries. My hands-on experience includes two and a half years caring for my rescued Chihuahua mix and two cats. I also volunteered socializing cats at a shelter when I was younger and, more recently, volunteered regularly at a farm animal sanctuary from April through October. There, I helped with feeding, fresh water, cleaning, preparing barns, and evening routines. You can expect clear communication, thoughtful updates, and photos while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pets and learn what helps them feel safe, understood, and cared for. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan walks, drop-ins, and house sits around your pet’s routine. For new clients, I prefer at least three days’ notice so we have time to arrange a meet-and-greet and make sure we’re a good fit before confirming a booking. During house sits, I stay overnight but may leave during the day for other pet-care bookings, errands, and personal commitments. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s usual schedule, potty-break needs, and how long they can comfortably be left alone, so you know what to expect. I take a careful, detail-oriented approach to caring for both your pets and your home. At our meet-and-greet, I’ll ask about feeding instructions, walking routines, behavior, triggers, household rules, and emergency contacts. I welcome detailed care notes and will follow the plan we agree on. On walks, I’ll stay aware of our surroundings, keep your dog leashed, and avoid unfamiliar dogs or greetings unless we’ve specifically discussed them. I pay attention to body language and give pets space when they show discomfort rather than pushing them into an interaction. In your home, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, and escape risks, keep feeding and litter areas tidy, and respect your instructions about access to rooms and outdoor spaces. For cats, I’ll offer attention without forcing handling or disturbing them when they need space. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes about how your pet is doing and communicate promptly if I notice a change in their behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits. My aim is to maintain the familiar care they’re used to while giving them patience and support during your time away.
