About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. About: I have had a varierty of pets all of my life from rabbits to dogs and love being out nature. I am very conscious of pets needs and make sure they feel at home in any setting. I am working part-time and have plenty of free time to care for your pets. Weekdays are preferable but I am open to most weekends. About: I've had dogs and cats in my house my whole life, and am a huge animal lover! I recently relocated from the Pacific Northwest back to California, but I have a ton of experience pet and house sitting for friends and family both in Seattle and the Bay Area. “Hy and Arlo were great sitters for our pup during a long vacation. It was his first time staying for a long period of time somewhere unfamiliar and Hy put us right at ease. Right off the bat, they seemed very comfortable with our pup and very confident around dogs generally, and pup took right to exploring their spacious home with a nice, fenced in backyard. Our dog is dog-reactive and they had ideas for best routes to walk him in their neighborhood. During our trip, they were able to use their intuitiveness to troubleshoot some barking at night. She kept me updated and texted me each day before I had a chance to worry about anything (after all, she was caring for my fur baby!). I felt at ease knowing that my pup was in loving and attentive hands, and I could text any time I felt the need. My dog is super friendly and also has some behavior quirks. She can get overexcited, and Alexandra had no problem following all the care instructions. She noticed my dog's comfort or discomfort and ensured she got what she needed. When I picked up my pup, she was quite content and even gave Alexandra a little lick goodbye, which told me even more about the care Alexandra and her family gave my little one.
