About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. My resident dog is a small French Bulldog who is very timid and antisocial, he prefers to keep his distance and is never aggressive, making him a perfect, low-pressure "roommate" for pets who also enjoy their personal space. Whether we are hanging out in the yard or going for a neighborhood walk, I treat your furbaby with the same high standards of safety and love that I give my own "baby" every single day. I love making sure parents feel completely at ease, so I prioritize keeping you in the loop with frequent updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing!
About: I've had dogs and cats in my house my whole life, and am a huge animal lover! I recently relocated from the Pacific Northwest back to California, but I have a ton of experience pet and house sitting for friends and family both in Seattle and the Bay Area. What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents. My dog just went through major hip surgery, and is on a strict medication schedule along with PT range of motion exercises and a strict bed rest. Beatryx took the time to meet me and ask exactly what I wanted during Pepe’s boarding. They asked all the right questions and assured me that Pepe would be in great care. The day when I had to leave Pepe, I ran into some complications at work and had to reschedule the drop off time. Beatryx was so understanding and flexible about everything.
