“Hy and Arlo were great sitters for our pup during a long vacation. It was his first time staying for a long period of time somewhere unfamiliar and Hy put us right at ease. Right off the bat, they seemed very comfortable with our pup and very confident around dogs generally, and pup took right to exploring their spacious home with a nice, fenced in backyard. Our dog is dog-reactive and they had ideas for best routes to walk him in their neighborhood. During our trip, they were able to use their intuitiveness to troubleshoot some barking at night. When we picked him up, we could tell he took a real liking to Hy while we were gone. Thanks Hy and Arlo for taking such good care of our guy while!”

“Melina was our first Rover experience and she made the process so welcoming. We'd never left our dog overnight with someone he didn't know – he's anxious, reactive and has separation anxiety, so it was important to us that we worked with with someone who understands and is patient with him. Melina was all of that and more! Within hours she had him snuggling up to her, and by the evening he was sleeping curled up next to her head. We got regular updates throughout the stay (including pictures) and felt so at-ease knowing he was well cared for. We would absolutely recommend Melina as a Rover, and especially for anyone with a special needs dog or a shy pup. She was amazing!”

“Alex took very great care of our dog while my partner and I have to both be away for a week. My dog has rarely been with sitters and is very nervous around new people. Alex has been great at accommodating all of my dog’s needs, and have a great environment to make my dog feels as comfortable as she can. “Chad was great with our pups. It's such a relief to find a good sitter and Chad is one of those people! He has a great place with a big backyard and nice house for the dogs to romp around in. He was very communicative both during our meet and greet as well as during their first stay with him. “Baxter had a great first stay with Kristen and Ryan! He took advantage of various comfy lounging spots in their home as well as sunbathing in their backyard. Baxter was in great shape when I returned. Kristin and Ryan are very friendly and kind, and their communications were clear throughout. I received updates with pictures at least once a day, as requested. I greatly appreciated their flexibility to extend Baxter's stay a bit and coordinate a different pickup arrangement when my trip plans changed. I would certainly book with them again!”

About: We are a dog loving family with 4 enthusiastic sitters. We are comfortable caring for senior dogs and have trail access for pups who love to hike. Cat friendly dogs of all sizes welcome! Chris works from home full time and is able to do walks and potty breaks as needed. We do daily hikes on Redwoods Regional trails. We have a large fenced in yard and access to Redwood Regional trail system- we love to be outdoors and will include your pup as much as they like. We have a senior dog friendly cat so visitors must be cat tolerant.

Chawntea was so flexible with our ever-changing travel plans. Shout out to Southwest. She sent updates and pics while we were away, which brought smiles to our faces.
