I am a full time pet care provider with around the clock availability. I am able to provide overnight supervision of your pet(s) via housesitting bookings or up to three drop-ins/walks per client throughout the day. First time clients, please provide your pet’s vaccination records. I must receive vaccine confirmation prior to any physical contact with your pet. Additionally, all introductions to dogs must take place outside of the home to allow for decompression/emotional regulation time and to gauge comfort/trust levels before entering their home. If you employ aversive methods and/or equipment against your pet I cannot accept your request for pet care services. I kindly ask that you seek services from an alternate care provider, thank you. For the time being I only offer services based in clients’ homes as I have two large dogs in my home. In the future for long term dog care clients, we can explore day care or play dates once trust is established for everyone involved. Until then, I am happy to provide one on one time and undivided attention for your cats and dogs while you are away.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week and travel across the Bay Area for in-home sits. Pets are also welcome to stay with me at my Emeryville loft. I have an 8-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix who is friendly with most animals and mostly keeps to himself. I prioritize regular walks, play, enrichment, and plenty of affection throughout the day. When caring for dogs in their home, I aim for 2–3 walks daily on safe, familiar routes; there is also a dog park directly across from my loft if that’s a good fit for the dog. I follow each client’s care instructions closely, communicate proactively if questions come up, and keep clients updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: From small breeds to large breeds, I've taken care of dogs since adopting our first family dog in 2001. Currently a dog dad to an 11-year-old cattle dog mix named Mia who brings joy to my life! Will treat your dog with the care I give my own. Pet care fits into my routine daily, having my own dog named Mia. We go for walks three times a day and I live plenty of time in my schedule to give her the love she deserves! Will care for your dog within your guidelines and what you establish is the best approach. I'm an experienced dog owner myself and can give your pet the attention they deserve!

About: I’ve had pets since I was young including caring for and owning small, medium, and large dogs. I appreciate the need for exercise and am happy to maintain any rules for your pet to keep consistency. I’m well versed in giving pets medicine, training puppies with voice, treats and eye contact. I currently have a 60lb dog that is strong and unreliable meeting dogs on leash so I am versed in managing larger dogs and boundaries needed in their care so they feel supported. (My dog is with me 50% time and I will only take in sitting jobs when she isn’t here). I also appreciate and care for cats though I have never owned one. I work full-time from home and a two bedroom apartment, and I’m available to board. I walk regularly and have my own dog 50% time. I will only board when I don’t have her. I can do fast walks, slow walks, and I have a car to take dogs to hikes if that is desired. I have an unfenced yard for quick potty breaks if needed, but prefer walking dogs on leash around the Elmwood neighborhood if they are staying with me. It’s good to get exercise! Also happy to walk them in your area if I’m just doing a house visit. I have a laundry room where I can close off any pet food storage if your pet is adventurous and gets into things. I like building trust and boundaries with dogs early so that they can feel secure. I also love playing with toys and keeping them in rotation whether that’s a Kong, pull toys, cat feathers or mice, etc.

About: I’ve had pets for 14 years ranging from small dogs, to cats, to rats and hamsters. In the last year, my family has dog sat for friends on vacation and foster puppies. My daughters (age 10 and 12) are particularly obsessed with small dogs, and regularly walk several of our neighbors dogs. We would love to welcome yours into our home. I work from home M-W-F and someone is usually home most weekends. We all love snuggling up with dogs as we work, watch movies, as well as taking them on walks or jogs in our neighborhood. I have a big fenced in yard, lots of space inside where the dogs can roam freely and safely without getting into trouble. They would also have my two daughters to play with, who are old enough to understand how to engage with dogs playfully but also know when to give them space. And are young enough to be home most of the time on weekends and evenings!
