Whether it be 1:1 walks, positive reinforcement training, or simply providing your animal with a companion while you’re away, I’m here to help out! I am able to work from home most days. In fact, I am only in the office one day each week. So, this allows me to have lots of time to host your pet for boarding OR to do check-ins as needed. So, let me know how I can best help out! I am a huge proponent of safety in and around my home. As such, I always make sure the environment is free of choking hazards or items that could get a pet into trouble. The day I was set to leave for an international trip, one of my cats got sick and my booked cat sitter bailed, as they were uncomfortable giving medication. With just a few hours left before my departure, I hopped on Rover to try to find someone to help. Christine messaged me back right away, came for a meet and greet that same evening, and jumped right in. She visited my cats twice a day, gave my sick older cat her meds, kept me constantly updated with photos and little anecdotes and went over and above to help out with some other unexpected things that came up. Having someone so engaged and communicative gave me peace of mind that my cats were being well cared for as I was traveling. I'm enormously grateful for Christine's help, and I highly recommend working with her!”

About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time and do not own any pets myself!* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

About: I’ve been around dogs since I can remember, and am currently a cat owner! More recently I’ve taken care of puppies over 6 months and am well versed with raw-food diets and feed/walk schedules. I am happy to take a dog on a longer walk if needed, just ask! For cat sitting, I love to get good play out of a cat and am super detail oriented when it comes to litter box cleaning. I’ll treat your cats like I would my own Chani (a sweet 9 year old dilute tortie) and kitty (4 year old tuxedo). I have administered medication to cats before, even the dreaded eye ointment, so I’m comfortable with cat wrangling if needed! I work from home full time for a tech company, so I’m available as much as needed for walking, sitting, or drop in visits! For overnight boarding, most nights work for me, and I’m flexible so my cancellation policy is not strict. Let’s discuss your pet’s needs! I have a yard with a pull-close gate so that your pup can’t run out when we need a quick potty break. On walks with dogs, I can tell signs of aggression in other dogs and I am very diligent about on/off leash area awareness. I have experience with walking dogs up to 100lbs (Bernese mountain dogs!) and you can feel confident that I know all the parks with the best vibes.
