About: I am a dog walker and trainer based in Emeryville. I am currently working towards my CTC to improve my training skills. I have experience training dogs big and small in single and multi dog homes. I use positive reinforcement (usually food) in my training and do not use aversive tools for training. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I took care of my aunt’s dog named Batman for 8 years until my aunt moved away. Ever since I have always enjoyed taking care of animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and chickens! My dogs were dead tired from all the amazing hikes they were taking. :) We received lots of pictures and communication during their stay so we were sure that they were safe and sound while we were gone. Lots of happy smiles and tail wags when we came back. Would definitely book again!”

It was the first time leaving Milo since he was rescued and Olivia was very kind and patient and answered all my questions.”
