There is a long line of veterinarians in my family therefore I understand the importance of quality care. My goal is to provide peace of mind for you and a second home for your furry friend, where they’ll receive the same level of care and affection they get from you. Fun fact I hope to become a veterinarian after school! As a college student-athlete, my schedule is flexible. I'm available every day aligning pet care around my class and practice times. Any changes or commitments are communicated in advance for seamless planning and reliable pet care. I am a student-athlete at Berkeley and am looking for a part-time job to spend time and help out with your furry friends. I know your pets mean the world to you, which is why safety is my top priority and I am committed to providing the best care for them so you can rest assured that they are taken care of while you are away.

That span taught me to tune in to each dog's needs by age and personality: the gentleness a senior needs, the structure a young dog needs, the patience a puppy needs. I walk, play, and cuddle; I also handle medications, feeding, and even home-cooked meals when needed. It means I tend to click with new dogs fast. These days I don't have animals of my own, which makes the time I get with clients' pets feel like a gift. This is also my full-time work — no day job pulling me away. I feel really lucky. I'd love to chat about what your family needs. When I'm house sitting, your pet is my home base. I may step out for a walk or two with another client during the day, but your baby's routine comes first and they get the bulk of my time, love, and care. When I'm not house sitting, I'm available every day after 11am for walks and drop-ins from Oakland up to the El Cerrito areas. To keep things safe and comfortable, I never walk dogs from different households together. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: Husband and wife team here to help with your pets. We both grew up with pets, and currently have two dogs, a tortoise, and a fish tank. Who are we? Chandlor, UO class of 2025, UC Berkeley class of 2028. Chandlor is also the Race, Equality & LGBTQIA+ reporter for Richmond Confidential, and an freelance journalist for other publications. Originally from the DC metro area. Alison, Dartmouth class of 2014, accountant at UO, part time musician, farm girl at heart. Two for the price of one! (Currently Chandlor is alone in Berkeley, but Alison is joining soon) We’re flexible with our work schedules, but both work full time. Alison at UO, Chandlor remotely. Just ask us and we will see if it’s a good fit. We spend a lot of time with our pets, and they are our lives. All of our animals are elderly, so we’ve spent years making them more comfortable.

We’ll discuss your dog’s routine and the care you’re looking for before confirming a stay or walk. I want your dog to feel comfortable and secure in my care. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep walks leashed, and take time to learn their habits, boundaries, and what helps them feel at ease. When caring for your dog in your home, I’ll respect your space and keep their routine familiar. You’ll also receive photos and updates so you can feel connected while you’re away.

About: Hello! Some things about me and my professional and personal experience with pups: I have had a total of three incredibly sweet, charming dogs. My current dog, Daisy, is a sweet girl and LOVES other dogs so would love a buddy to have around! I have always had a love for dogs and have always wanted to work with them and take care of them as a job. I have been caring for, boarding, sitting, and walking dogs professionally on Rover and Wag for about two years now, and have dog sat and house sat for a couple of my family members' dogs on multiple occasions. I also have worked at dog daycares and dog boarding facilities in Seattle and Poulsbo, WA for the past two years so I have hours and hours of training under my belt. Your dog will be in very good hands! I recently moved to San Francisco from Washington and am currently in the job search process. I am available every day of the week for walks and drop-ins! I live close to McLaren Park, as well as a few different dog parks that I would be more than happy to take your dog to! I also have one friendly dog, who would love to have a buddy to play with as well. Your pup will be tired and happy by the time they come home.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! At one point, my family had up to four dogs at a time. I also have taken care of other animals (lizards, cats, fish) for neighbors, friends, and random job postings found online! I am capable of bathing, walking, feeding, giving medications/ treatments, socializing, or whatever you need for your pets! I am currently in school online and taking some time off of work! About: I have about 6 years of extensive pet care. Taking care of family friends pets has allowed for a wide range of types of dogs all ages and sizes. From puppies to dogs with lots of medical problems, I love and care for each and every one. Growing up my family always had 2 dogs at once, so I’m able to multitask with multiple dogs. As a college student, I only go to classes one hour at a time and have the rest of the day to go for walks and feed. I’m not there too late or too early, so I’ll always be back for morning/evening walks and time for food. In clients home I make sure to follow their rules depending on each person. Crate if necessary, or making sure doors are closed and locked before I leave.
