About: I grew up with a dog that I was responsible for from a young age until my late teens. Today, I am the go-to dog care person for family and friends. I love animals but especially dogs so I decided to try expanding my skills here on Rover. I have experience helping dogs who are injured and need medicine, active, semi-active, and mellow dogs too! My current schedule offers flexibility throughout the weekdays and most weekends, which helps me balance and accommodate dog owners' various schedules/needs throughout the entire week. At your home, I am a responsible and conscientous person, who treats someone's home with care. I am adaptable to different home environments. The main thing for me is feeling safe in the home and cleanliness -:) and that the dog is comfortable.

I bring patience, affection, and thoughtful attention to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs. I recently relocated to Berkeley, and my own dog, Kona, will be joining me in early December. I’m missing her so much and would love to spend time with your pup while getting to know my new neighborhood! Along with walks, I’m available to care for your dog while you’re away, offering companionship and keeping their familiar routines so they feel comfortable in your absence. About: I had two very pompous cats growing up. I now have a very lazy pitbull I rescued when he was a puppy and had the privilege of loving a beautiful and patient senior terrier. Safe to say I have experienced it all and it’s one of the greatest gifts :) I’m a recent graduate and I suppose one can say the job market is tough. However, because of this I have loads of free time!! Best way to spend free time is around lovely pets! I will treat you fur best friend as if they were my own. I’m very protective of my own and will be the same towards yours as well as shower them with tons of love!

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I’ve been around animals my whole life and feel passionate about pet care and wellbeing. I’m a work-from-home dog mom of two, and I want to bring my enthusiasm for animal care to others! I provide dog walking, drop-in and housesitting services, with an emphasis on exploration and nurture. I offer a personalized experience for each pet, and aim to ensure that during my time with them, their normal routine is maintained and by the time I leave they’re as happy as can be. Note: When I housesit, my lovely husband cares for our dogs, and I typically pop home for ~2 hours a day to see them. This can be adjusted based on the needs of your pets! I work from home full-time and am available for walks during the day. I mostly work an east coast schedule so am always down to go on a mid-afternoon hiking/trail adventure with your pup! I value creating a calm but clear environment for all the animals I work with. I have experience training dogs in easy commands (sit, stay etc) and always communicate with the client about how to best communicate with their dogs, as well as any stickier behaviors that I should be aware of while caring for their pet.

About: I’ve been caring for pets ever since I was a kid, as we’ve owned them my whole life! I sat my parents down and presented them a handwritten PowerPoint explaining why I would be the absolute best and most responsible care giver! My 13 year old self was very persuasive, because we got 3 cats, which I still care for today! While I was only raised with cats in my home, I do have a lot of experience with dogs as well! Throughout college, I had numerous friends who had dogs, who would come to me to help care for their pets when their schedules got to busy. I would feed them, walk them, play with them, bathe them, clip their nails, and even stay in their homes to pet sit if their parent had a vacation scheduled. On top of that, I fostered a handful of new born kittens who I had to bottle feed. I would love the opportunity to treat your fur baby as my own! I’m currently working on my masters at UC Berkeley, which leaves me with some extra time on my hands. I would love to use this spare time to play with and care for your pet! I will care for your fur baby in your home by first ensuring I follow any guidelines set by you as the owner. Whether that be walking them on their favorite street at their favorite time, or feeding them the fantastic 4 course meal you’ve laid out. I will ensure your home is left as clean, if not cleaner, as when I arrived. I will ensure that your pet will have gotten all their zoomies out, and will be happy to see you once you arrive home and be ready to get cuddled up!

About: I’ve taken care of and been around dogs as long as I can remember! Just graciously helped get my 2yo goldendoodle, Gino, out of his puppy phase; potty trained, knows basic commands, still knows how to get what he wants with just one look though.. My other doodle, Cannoli, is 12 and still going strong. I love to walk dogs and am flexible to any of their unique needs, activity levels, and charming quirks. I’m a college student currently on a 3mo summer break so I’m just looking to spend my time with animals before I go to the depths of dorm life again. I’m free most days of the week with notice and can work to make our schedules work together. My dogs have free range of the lower level of my home and they sleep in their crates at night. I’m comfortable with whatever situation you’ve got with your dog, every pet is different so I don’t think there’s one correct answer with how to keep your home.

About: As a family we have fostered, trained and rehomed over 30 rescue dogs. We currently live in the Oakland hills with our three dogs. I’m comfortable with any size or breed I’m a stay at home dad and artist. My kids need me less as they’re teenagers now so I have the time and availability for pet care. We have fostered a range of breeds over the years. I have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. We also have a fenced in backyard for any visiting dogs.

About: I have about 6 years of extensive pet care. Taking care of family friends pets has allowed for a wide range of types of dogs all ages and sizes. From puppies to dogs with lots of medical problems, I love and care for each and every one. Growing up my family always had 2 dogs at once, so I’m able to multitask with multiple dogs. As a college student, I only go to classes one hour at a time and have the rest of the day to go for walks and feed. I’m not there too late or too early, so I’ll always be back for morning/evening walks and time for food. In clients home I make sure to follow their rules depending on each person. Crate if necessary, or making sure doors are closed and locked before I leave.

About: Growing up, I have helped raise 2 cats and 2 dogs. My first dog had 7 offspring, so I have experience with puppies. Additionally, my second dog, which happens to be one of the 7 puppies, grew to be 140 lbs, so I am also experienced with big dogs. I understand the attention puppies and dogs need, so I will be there to care for your dogs the same way I would care for my own. I’ve spent years picking up dog dropping’s and cleaning after them, know how to feed dogs on specific eating schedules, and understand the proper playtime needed to satisfy a dog’s needs. I also grew up with two cats. One of my cats was blind and deaf, so I know what caring for a disabled animal entails and am fully prepared to provide for that animal given instruction. I currently have two cats who are everything to me! I love being a cat mom! To me, pets are creatures that are extremely loyal and faithful, and they deserve nothing but the same treatment in return. I work full-time, but am often available in the mornings before 11am and on weekends. I can also be available in the evenings, but my work schedule tends to go until 7-7:30pm There are many different ways I’ll care for your pet. Just the basics: I’ll give your animal lots of love, play with them, and of course feed them and give them water. If they are in need of more care (ie disabled), I’ll give them the medication or and if he special treatments they need to help keep them happy and healthy.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! At one point, my family had up to four dogs at a time. I also have taken care of other animals (lizards, cats, fish) for neighbors, friends, and random job postings found online! I am capable of bathing, walking, feeding, giving medications/ treatments, socializing, or whatever you need for your pets! I am currently in school online and taking some time off of work! This leaves me with extreme flexibility to take care of your animals. Every pet and pet parent is unique! As long as you give me the gist of what your pet needs, I am happy to provide that.

About: I’m a cat mom and lifelong pet sitter who treats every cat and dog like my own! I live in Rockridge, working remotely, so my schedule is flexible. I know how it feels to leave your pets behind when you go on vacation, and my job as a sitter is to make sure you’ll get regular updates, cute photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands ❤️ I work in tech and have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to stop by for drop-ins or overnight sitting. I’m usually available early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and can adjust based on your pets feeding or medication routine. I love pets because every one of them is so different! I take the time to learn your pets preferences, how they like to be greeted, their energy level, and what feels safe to them.
