V was quick to respond to my inquires and Ernest really seemed to like them. I highly recommend V for big dogs like Ernest (and likely any dog smaller than 90 lbs, which I know is many!). About: Hello, my name is Candance and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I have been working with animals of all kinds for 10+ years. I have done long term sitting, walking, and special needs care for dogs and cats. I also have two rescue cats myself Hira who has impaired vision and epilepsy and Nisha who is blind. I work from home full time and this allows me a lot of freedom to go for walks during the day or work from someone else’s home and be there all day. About: I am an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley studying Political Science. I have several years of experience cat and dog sitting for various friends and family members. Most recently, I attended to a family friend's two cats, spending quality time with them each day, feeding them, playing with them, and clearing out their litter boxes. In the past, I have also walked dogs and dog-sitted while owners were on vacation. As a pet owner myself, I enjoy spending time with cats and dogs and am extremely attentive to their needs. Additionally, I have experience following multi-step instructions regarding pet care that are suited to the owners' preferences. I have lots of free time given that my class schedule is going to be light this year. When I'm at school, I don't get to be with my family pet, so I would love to bring cats and dogs into my daily/weekly routine. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner's routine as closely as possible. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable, so I make sure they receive their meals on schedule, get plenty of fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's home. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. If pets are staying in my home, they'll have a clean, safe, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision. I'll make sure they get exercise, enrichment, and a calm place to rest, while monitoring them closely for any changes in behavior or health. About: I’ve had pets for 14 years ranging from small dogs, to cats, to rats and hamsters. In the last year, my family has dog sat for friends on vacation and foster puppies. My daughters (age 10 and 12) are particularly obsessed with small dogs, and regularly walk several of our neighbors dogs. We would love to welcome yours into our home. I work from home M-W-F and someone is usually home most weekends. We all love snuggling up with dogs as we work, watch movies, as well as taking them on walks or jogs in our neighborhood. I have a big fenced in yard, lots of space inside where the dogs can roam freely and safely without getting into trouble. They would also have my two daughters to play with, who are old enough to understand how to engage with dogs playfully but also know when to give them space. And are young enough to be home most of the time on weekends and evenings!

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! At one point, my family had up to four dogs at a time. I also have taken care of other animals (lizards, cats, fish) for neighbors, friends, and random job postings found online! I am capable of bathing, walking, feeding, giving medications/ treatments, socializing, or whatever you need for your pets! I am currently in school online and taking some time off of work! This leaves me with extreme flexibility to take care of your animals. Every pet and pet parent is unique! As long as you give me the gist of what your pet needs, I am happy to provide that.

While I was living in Beaverton, I dog-sat and house-sat over the course of the lat six years for several different families whose animals ranged from puppies, dogs (large, medium and/or small), cats, guinea pigs and more. About: Hi, I'm Wyatt! I grew up in a house that felt more like a small farm — two dogs (Jackie and Kylie), two cats (Stevie and Spicoli), plus bunnies, chickens, and frogs running around. My grandfather was a veterinarian, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me: feeding, walking, bathing, giving medications, and picking up on when something's just a little off. I'm comfortable with high-energy puppies, anxious rescues, and senior pets who need a slower pace and a bit of extra patience. Honestly, I miss my own pets back home, and getting to hang out with yours is the best part of this. I'll send photo updates whether you ask for them or not. I’m a senior at Berkeley with a light course load, so my week has a lot of open space in it. Weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings are all workable, and I’m wide open on weekends. Because I’m not commuting to an office, I can do multiple drop-ins a day, long midday walks, or stay overnight at your place. I’ll always confirm timing in advance and let you know right away if anything shifts on my end. I work in your home, so your pet stays on their own turf and their own routine. I'll follow whatever you already do :) feeding times and amounts, medications, crate or no crate, which rooms are off-limits, the walking route they like, how they are around other dogs. Leash goes on before the door opens, and I check gates and doors twice on my way out. No off-leash time unless you tell me it's fine. I'll get your vet's info before the first visit, and if anything seems off you'll hear from me right away. Your place gets left how I found it, and you'll get a text with photos after every visit.

About: I grew up with a dog that I was responsible for from a young age until my late teens. Today, I am the go-to dog care person for family and friends. I love animals but especially dogs so I decided to try expanding my skills here on Rover. I have experience helping dogs who are injured and need medicine, active, semi-active, and mellow dogs too! My current schedule offers flexibility throughout the weekdays and most weekends, which helps me balance and accommodate dog owners' various schedules/needs throughout the entire week.
