It can be very nerve wracking to leave your fur baby somewhere new, especially for an entire week, but immediately, I knew my senior pug Pennie was in excellent hands with Mariola! In fact, so much so, that Pennie was more than content to stick around longer when I came to take her home on day 8. I so appreciate having a loving, caring responsible dog sitter like Mariola so close by to care for my pug while I’m traveling for work. Thank you again so much!”

“Once again Patrick and Sophie were awesome with our fur babies. I like the fact that Patrick pays attention to each dog and gets personal with them. We had our dogs with other sitters before that we thought were nice. However it ended up feeling like we are dropping them off at a kennel since they were sitting multiple dogs at the same time. The reason why we use Rover in the first place is that we want to find a home environment so our dogs would feel at ease. Patrick recognizes that and notes the different habits and needs of each dog. About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies. I also enjoy the energy of younger dogs and live right near San Pablo park for dogs who like to socialize. I mostly work from home with occasional in person meetings during the week. I am available for pet care throughout the week and can let dogs out to the back yard throughout the day. I live in a quiet but lively neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and sniff. The back yard is fenced in and allows space to lounge in the sun. There are no other pets or humans currently in the house so it is very peaceful and quiet most of the time. I don't take dogs from more than one household at a time. I check in on the pets I care for regularly and track their emotional as well as physical needs, giving pets and butt scratches often!

Leaving Nugget with Monica gave me immense peace of mind. From the moment we met for the meet and greet, she was communicative, welcoming, and most importantly, very tuned-in to what Nugget’s needs could be during his stay. Her home was a lovely place for Nugget to stay, and her dog and cat are wonderful companions and very well behaved. The walks in Tilden Park were an added privilege. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation.
Bryce took perfect care of Yoshi, I couldn’t be more satisfied. We first did a meeting date with nebula (his dog) and they seemed to do well together so I booked him. Bryce’s communication was great and I felt that Yoshi was in really good hands the whole time. Yoshi is still recovering from an injury and has to take medication and supplements and Bryce was very patient, caring, and attentive to my baby girl. A dog with an injury can be a complex thing but Bryce really gave me the reassurance I needed to enjoy my vacation. Bryce sent updates the whole time and I can tell he puts a lot of thought and care into our animals. It was a perfect sitter experience for me. My flight coming back home from my 10 day trip was delayed a bit and Bryce was incredibly flexible with the mishap. I’m hoping to book Bryce again and I highly recommend him to anyone that’s looking for help with their fur babies. Thanks again Bryce! Yoshi looks very healthy and happy after her stay, it’s like she had a little vacation too! Don’t hesitate to book this guy!
We feel so lucky that we found Brian and Robert? Within moments of meeting them, our dog was happy and comfortable. Though our dog will sometimes skip a meal due to anxiety when he first meets a new caregiver, not so with Robert! He ate all of his meals! In addition to the many great walks and outings, Robert provided us with many videos and photos of their adventures together. So appreciate all that they did for him!
Boarding my little elder dog with Mary was truly the best experience ever! I was nervous to leave her with a new person, but the stay was flawless. Mary (and murphy) immediately welcomed and settled my pup in to her home & sent many sweet photos and updates. I was immediately relaxed -and so appreciative. Mary is communicative and was so warm and gentle with my pup. Drop and pick up were organized and efficient, and my dog was completely unfazed and relaxed a week later when I returned for her. Could not recommend Mary enough for a safe, loving, individualized and a homey stay for your pup. I have already re-booked another stay. Thank you Mary (and murphy)!
Josephine was a wonderful guardian for my dog this weekend and her sweet pup was a great companion. Jasper returned to me very relaxed and happy, and I appreciated the photos/videos Josephine sent of him throughout the weekend. She was very responsive, and I’ll definitely use her services again!
Alexandria is amazing! She came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. This was the first time we’ve left our 9 month old puppy with anyone and the experience could not have gone better. Great communication from initial contact through to the time away and our return. We felt very comfortable and confident that we left our girl in great hands. She can back to us happy and ready for a long nap. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Alexandria again.
Taylor and Kevin took great care of our golden, Pemba, over the weekend. She went on many adventures with them—to the park, on walks, even out to eat! Pemba got lots of love, attention, and belly rubs. Taylor is very patient and understanding with Pemba and super communicative. We got lots of updates so we knew exactly what they were up to. Jiaxi did a great job taking care of Laika for a long weekend (3 nights, 4 days). I would have preferred to receive more updates - even if it was just a message/pic a day to let me know things were going well -- so just make sure to communicate those preferences beforehand.
Anchisa and Michael did a fantastic job caring for Willie! From the first communication, I can tell they’re caring dog lovers. They sent me frequent updates with pictures throughout the stay, and made me feel at ease. I can tell how much Willie enjoyed spending time with them, and will definitely use them again!
Sarah was absolutely wonderful! Ewok took to her immediately from the meet and greet. While she took care of Ewok, Sarah sent daily updates and photos. She took wonderful care of Ewok and seemed content when we picked him up. Sarah even printed out a picture of Ewok which was adorable and I can’t wait to frame. So happy that we found Sarah!

Our dog Winston came home super happy from staying a week with Rachel and her family. We got text and photo updates, and she was great about communicating how he was doing. We felt extra good that he got to play with other dogs and kids while he was there. He came home happy and it was really nice to have a great peace of mind that our furry family member was well cared for while the rest of us were vacationing.
