Receiving a photo or two of Louie each day was amazing and it was heartwarming to see Louie so happy getting lots of snuggles, playtime with his toys, neighborhood walks, and peaceful naps at their feet. About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

A selfish part of me wants to not leave a review at all so that we can keep this lovely couple all to ourselves and our dog, but that would not be fair. Robert and Brian- thank you truly for taking such incredible care of Athena and all the updates, especially the photo dumps. We (me, my partner, and Athena for sure) appreciate you both so much!
Chester and Lazlo had such a great time visiting Claudio again. I feel so good leaving them with him because he does such a good job keeping them entertained and making sure Chester gets his meds. And i.b fact, when it was time to leave this time, Lazlo didn't want to! 😆
Beth and Jeff were absolutely incredible! My girl Sunday is high energy and sometimes gets a little nervous in new places, but Beth and Jeff made Sunny feel right at home. She ran around in their oasis of a backyard and played with her new best friends (Beth and Jeff’s 2 kids)—she was even allowed to sleep in their room! Sunny came home reluctantly and very tired! Sunny already can’t wait for me to leave town so she can stay with her new pals again!
Josephine is a dream come true! I am so thankful to her for taking my two pups (very very last minute) for 4 nights. They had an incredible time with her, and her little cutie dog, Bruce Lee. When we arrived at their house for drop off, I couldn’t believe how incredibly lucky we were about the situation. She came out to greet us with Bruce - she was so warm and kind and inviting, I instantly felt so much relief about leaving them with her. Bruce was also super welcoming and a great little side kick 🥹 Her house is so cute, nestled in a sweet part of Oakland, I received so many cute pics of them walking around the hood everyday. It’s always been a little difficult finding care for my dogs as they can be anxious and a little handling sensitive (maybe it’s me who’s more anxious than anything), but Josephine is an absolute pro and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away, I felt like I didn’t have a care in the world. I really can’t thank her and Bruce enough. My boys haven’t stopped raving about their time with them, they cant wait to go back! Thank you Josephine + Bruce!!
Sara and Evan were wonderful with our 11mo puppy! We were nervous about leaving her (mostly just afraid of what mischief she might get up to in a new home) but Sara and Evan handled her puppy energy well and she had a blast playing with and learning from their older dogs. I would happily recommend Sara and Evan to anybody looking to board their dogs!
Tosca and Marco are the best! Our energetic and playful 2-year old cavapoo sprints into their house whenever we drop her off for daycare or boarding. She recently stayed with them for just over a week while we were out of town, and it was so clear that they treated her with as much love and attention as their own dogs. We’re so grateful for them!
Anchisa was absolutely wonderful with Lola for the week! She kept me well informed daily regarding Lola’s wellbeing and sent beautiful pictures that gave me complete peace of mind. Lola came home happy, healthy, and completely relaxed. I highly recommended Anchisa and will definitely book her again!
Mariola has watched my senior dog several times and she takes such great care of her. On one of her stays, my dog had an upset stomach and Mariola kept me up to date and gave her care until I was home. She has a fenced yard that gives the dogs some extra outdoor time, and my dog clearly enjoys her stays when I go out of town. I highly recommend, especially if you have an small older dog like I do
Absolutely fantastic experience having Alexis board our dog. From the regular updates with pictures to kind and gentle approach she took until he warmed up to trust her, you can really tell Alexis has the right attitude and experience. The grass area out back is something our dog really enjoyed as it was like being at home able to take some naps in the sun in the grass. We'll definitely be planning in advance to get access to Alexis again.
