Joel works from home full-time, and I am WFH most of the week, allowing us to provide very consistent, regimented care for your fur baby. We are happy to accommodate dogs that require frequent potty breaks and constant human connection (a.k.a., anxious pups!).

Safety is our top priority, so we do not to take two new dogs on the same day (unless they both come from the same owners) to avoid any mishaps. Your dog will have a very intimate, quiet, tranquil boarding experience. Please note we cannot guarantee that your dog will be the only dog boarded while here as we take up to three dogs a night and two doggy day cares during the day. If it is their first time boarded, they will only be with regulars (who have been temperament tested) as we never take more than one new dog at a time.

Please let us know of any special care we can offer your pup. We are both more than happy to administer medicine or any other necessary treatment your dog may require. Additionally, if your pup is prone to accidents, please notify us. We have diapers available for both female and male dogs in various sizes. This also applies to male dogs who tend to mark inside. We no longer offer pick up and drop off for daycare; however, we may be able to accommodate boarding.

A typical day for your dog in our care will include a morning walk, morning playtime, breakfast, a midday walk, an evening walk, dinner, and ample outdoor time. Joel loves to play with dogs and will most likely run around with your pup if they’re up for it.

We are out of service Friday (2/6) night to Sunday (2/8) mid morning ish - we will respond to messages then! Hello there! We’re Danielle and Joel, a fun-loving couple with a passion for pups and over 5 years of extensive dog care experience. Nestled in a cozy single-family home in vibrant South Berkeley, we offer a fully fenced-in yard where your furry friend can roam safely and freely. Luckily, we both work from home, which means around-the-clock cuddles, playtime, and care for your dog! As proud pet parents ourselves, we have two adorable dogs—Nala, our lively 2-year-old, and Simba, the wise 5-year-old. Both are well-socialized and love making new friends, though they might bark a bit during those first introductions, but only momentarily. Our home is always buzzing with tail wags and happy barks! To ensure the best experience for every pup, we typically board only small to medium dogs and never more than two new dogs at a time. The first stay is a temperament test to ensure a good fit and compatibility with our furry family. Rest assured, your pet's safety and happiness are our top priorities! Your dog will enjoy daily walks at 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 9:00 PM, and they’ll have plenty of access to our backyard for all the free play they desire. While we offer a nurturing environment, we don’t provide house-sitting or pet care in clients' homes, as we prefer to have everyone stay with us for a more personal touch. We believe in being prepared for anything and are proud to share that we are certified in pet CPR, with extensive knowledge in first aid. We’ve cared for energetic puppies and senior pups needing extra attention, so no matter your pet's stage in life, they’ll receive love and care from us. We also keep a watchful eye with Furbo cameras placed around our home, ensuring everyone is safe and happy while in our care. We can’t wait to meet your pup for a meet and greet to ensure they feel just as at home with us as they do with you! Let’s give your furry friend an enjoyable stay! 🐶❤️

Will definitely be a repeat client! We left our 1-year-old dog Stevie with Danielle for 11 nights. It was our first time using Rover. Couldn't be happier with how she was cared for. Having multiple dogs around really helped Stevie's separation anxiety and Danielle helped with OUR separation anxiety by sending loads of photos and videos. Danielle is flexible, always responsive, and thinks ahead of time about possible conflicts with other dogs. Really appreciate having her as a resource. Will definitely book Stevie here again!
