Your fur friend is my priority!
Greetings from a fellow animal lover! I have at least nine years of dog experience and have grown up with/ cared for a variety of dog breeds (mini Poodle, Pekingese, Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, Corgi, Pomeranian, just to name a few!) I currently own a 6 pound Yorkie and he’s a ball of love. He gets along with everyone! I dedicate so much love and energy to my own pet’s well- being and will do the same for yours. Your pet’s health and happiness is my priority and I look forward to welcoming your fur friend into my home! Good communication with owners is key for me. My home is fairly spacious with a fenced in backyard for the pups to run and play in. I also lead a pretty active lifestyle so boarding at mine can include a lot of fun neighborhood walks, toy play, park play, and hikes (if that is something your pet likes)! But if your pet wants a more relaxed, calm environment that definitely works too.

Josephine took amazing care of Paco! She kept me updated throughout his stay, and it was clear he was happy, comfortable, and so well loved. Having that peace of mind made it so much easier to enjoy my trip. I’m so grateful to have found her and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Josephine is a dream come true! I am so thankful to her for taking my two pups (very very last minute) for 4 nights. They had an incredible time with her, and her little cutie dog, Bruce Lee. When we arrived at their house for drop off, I couldn’t believe how incredibly lucky we were about the situation. She came out to greet us with Bruce - she was so warm and kind and inviting, I instantly felt so much relief about leaving them with her. Bruce was also super welcoming and a great little side kick 🥹 Her house is so cute, nestled in a sweet part of Oakland, I received so many cute pics of them walking around the hood everyday. It’s always been a little difficult finding care for my dogs as they can be anxious and a little handling sensitive (maybe it’s me who’s more anxious than anything), but Josephine is an absolute pro and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away, I felt like I didn’t have a care in the world. I really can’t thank her and Bruce enough. My boys haven’t stopped raving about their time with them, they cant wait to go back! Thank you Josephine + Bruce!!

Josephine was super friendly and not afraid to do Reno’s eye medication.
Josephine took such great care of our dog, Eto’o! We were traveling on a long trip to see family and Josephine always sent great daily pictures and updates of our dog, allowing us to miss him a little less. I could tell Eto’o had such a good time and we would definitely have him stay with Josephine again. We highly recommend!

Schedule
I have a pretty flexible schedule and there are at least three walks daily. Of course walks can be adjusted to your dog’s needs! I definitely try to adhere to the owner’s home schedule as much as possible!

I have a fenced in small backyard for the fur friends to run around. I also live a spacious apartment and my own pup roams freely around my space.

A typical day
My dog and I live a pretty active lifestyle so fun activities include a lot of parks play, hikes and neighborhood walks! I am close to a lot of neighborhood parks and don’t mind driving to trails or even the beach for additional walks/ hikes. But if your pet prefers to be at home and couch cuddles, that’s great too!
