I mostly work from home** and have a very flexible schedule, making it extremely easy to TRULY prioritize the care of your fur baby while you are away! I only board one dog at a time (unless both owners are aware and aligned) and, if needed, I can ensure I’m with your dog 100% of the time during short stays to avoid any additional stress on your pup. I also send updates and photos multiple times a day (unless you request otherwise.) ☺️

Safety, trust & environment

I will ensure their typical routine is followed to make sure the transition is as anxiety-free as possible and they feel right at home! I can guarantee multiple 1:1 walks per day and would love to bring your dog to their favorite places (hikes, parks, etc.) My apartment has a fenced-in backyard for frequent potty breaks and potential play with sweet neighbor dogs (if that’s their thing!) and a balcony so they can sunbathe to their heart’s content. We also have a roof for quiet time and potty breaks if they are on the shy side/not used to busy nighttime streets. For safety, I err on the side of avoiding off-leash, public dog parks, but I’m happy to accommodate upon request. I also live a block away from an animal hospital and am familiar with the nearby emergency pet hospital.

Information Mary C. would like to know about your pet

I would love to understand the following: -Daily routine (e.g. meal time(s), typical walk lengths, potty breaks, any medications or supplements, crate or free roaming, grooming needs, etc.) -Favorite things (e.g. toys, treats, parks, tv shows, etc.) -“No no’s” (fears, scary sounds to avoid, any anxiety triggers, or anything temperament-related that would be helpful to know) -If riding in the car is an issue for them and/or if you have a car seat/harness clip you can provide for safety (I have a booster seat for up to 20 pounds that they can use, if not) -Veterinary contact information -Local emergency contact information -Current flea prevention methods -Proof of rabies vaccine -Anything else you would like to share!! Hope to meet you and your sweetie soon! **Please note, I now need to go into the office on Wednesdays, so I have blocked my calendar on those days. However, I am available for night time drop off and am also willing to board certain return guests (depending on temperament and their individual needs) on Wednesdays since I work less than 8 minutes away and could return to walk them after 3 hours ☺️.

A typical day

I prioritize following your dog’s routine as much as possible, so any info about their typical day is very much welcomed! I would love to explore the nearby neighborhoods with your dog or travel to their favorite hot spots! Throughout the daily agenda, you can count on lots of play, fresh air, exercise/walks and love. Furthermore, I know some coats require consistent maintenance and some short haired dogs just love a curry comb session, so I’m more than happy to provide gentle brushing/combing as part of their boarding care as well as teeth brushing, if requested.

Pet care experience

I have had my own dogs and currently own an 11 year old Pomeranian who requires medication 3 times a day and other accommodations. Because of this, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog, so my goal is to do everything in my power for you and your dog to feel as comfortable and supported as possible. I’m very detail-oriented and pride myself on being incredibly in-tune with the needs of animals. I would love to provide a safe and pampered experience for your “baby!”

I was so nervous about leaving my puppy for the first time with someone new. All of my reservations evaporated when I met with Mary! We did a meet and greet before his first daycare sesh and he remembered her and was so delighted when I dropped him off. He didn’t even look back lol. Mary sent me lots of pics and notes about him throughout the day and I felt so at ease knowing he was with someone safe and nurturing. One of the most stressful parts about having a fur baby is finding quality care and I feel like the luckiest paw parent ever now that I’ve found Mary! I highly recommend her…and her doggo Murphy Brown is the cutest. 🐾

We were so pleased to discover Mary not far our neighborhood. She provided wonderful updates and photos of Snowy, has a very setup that includes a dog park, and clearly enjoys taking care of our animal friends.

Mary is amazing. I ask Coco 9my dog) afterwards about her time with Mary and she leans and cuddles with me after - giving her approval. I would hands down book with Mary in the future.
