I am a work from home data engineer working out of my home in peaceful North Berkeley. My workday schedule is very flexible with ample opportunity for several short walks around the neighborhood throughout the day.

I live in a 6 bedroom home in North Berkeley, an established grouphouse with 4 other folks in their late 20s. We have a peaceful, fun and stress free home. I have a fenced front hard with enough room for zoomies and easy access for potty breaks. I have a large sunny back deck for dog sunbathing. I also have a working fireplace for warming up the paws during the cold/rainy season. My housemates are great with animals and provide additional attention, pets and socialization (2 work from home, 2 work out of the home).

Let me know anything about your dogs behavior or dispositions I should be mindful of. Large male breeds need to be introduced to my dog with care, my dog sometimes mounts large males and does not fixate on mounting but there have been a handful of times that this caused escalation.
A typical day
I love being super attentive to the doggos. I love to drill tricks for treats to keep them focused, I am down to clown around and rough house with toys and provide comforting pets and "good boy/girl"s when the dog is feeling unsure or simply give them a chew treat and some space to adjust. I live in peaceful north berkeley with a few parks within walking distance that milkshake and I walk to daily. We also are a 15 minute walk or short drive to ohlone dog park, I usually take my dog there at least once per week (he goes to both the big dog and the little dog park).

I am a long time caregiver for human adults with disabilities and animals in the bay area. I am reliable, attentive and adaptive to the needs of animals and people in my care. I am comfortable caring for pets in need of extra hygiene or medical/wound care. I am a foster through Berkeley humane. I provide doggy day care for people in my social network. I have raised a few batches of kittens. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. My counterpart and dog, Milkshake, is a great host and adapts well to the personality and boundaries of visiting pups. He is also great at bringing out visiting dogs' playful sides, and your pup will likely return home having been expelled all of their zoomies. I understand how important our pets are to all of us, one thing I love to do while caring for someones pet is to send them multiple photos/videos per day to show what their fur baby is getting up to. I get anxious when I am away from my dog too long and worry about him so I know how it goes, your pet will be well taken care of with me.

Madison has been watching our dog Jelly Bean for us for the last year whenever we go on vacation or when I need day care for him on busy weeks. She is very flexible with scheduling, her prices are fair, and most importantly she does an exceptional job caring for our dog. JB absolutely loves playing with Madison’s dog (milkshake) they wrestle, play tug, and bound around the house. Madison takes them on long walks and always makes sure he’s tired when he comes home. I never have to worry about Bean when he’s with Madison and I love the videos and photos she sends of him living it up in Berkeley. I highly recommend Madison for any dog sitting activities!
