5-10 miles/day walking/running!
We had been fostering special needs dogs for about 7 years, and due to family circumstances, we have to put a hold on that for a while. In the meantime, we're both part time, medical professionals and have lots of time to help out with your dog-care needs. (Robert works only from home.) There is absolutely nothing like the bond between humans and dogs, and we know how important it is for you to feel like your baby is in good hands. We're super responsive, dependable, and flexible to your needs. We've never met a dog we couldn't love!

If you are looking for a pet sitter that will care for your animal as if they are one of your own, look no further. A selfish part of me wants to not leave a review at all so that we can keep this lovely couple all to ourselves and our dog, but that would not be fair. Robert and Brian- thank you truly for taking such incredible care of Athena and all the updates, especially the photo dumps. We (me, my partner, and Athena for sure) appreciate you both so much!
A day with Robert & Brian is like a day at Disneyland for dogs. It is a near-magical experience. Robert takes her on extraordinary multi-hour outings to beautiful places. When I pick her up, she tries to go back in their house! Robert & Brian are wonderful folks who are obviously very dog-savvy and adore dogs. I book with them every chance I get.
Robert was absolutely wonderful with our girl Phoebe on her first overnight! We were a bit apprehensive as Phoebe has separation anxiety but she was happily occupied with multiple walks and so much love! Robert's level of conscientiousness is unmatched and we completely entrust him with Phoebe's health and safety, including keeping her away from other dogs so her reactiveness isn't triggered. We couldn't ask for more!
So thankful to have found Robert & Brian. Robert was incredibly thoughtful in our pre-visit discussion. He asked so many insightful questions...and sent amazing photos of her adventures. I almost felt bad for picking her up, like her vacation was over! 😂
Robert & Brian did an incredible job caring for my older dog while I was away, treating him like their own and making sure he was comfortable and happy. The regular updates gave me so much peace of mind—I knew he was safe and in great hands the entire time.
Robert was an amazing caregiver for my pup! His attention to detail, focus and prioritization of his pets are superb. He asks many questions about his pets to understand their needs and wants. We received multiple updates with photos every day. He walked my dog for miles, giving her the exercise and stimulation she needed during our absence. And, offered her lots of love and cuddles. I will definitely use Rob again if I can squeeze into his busy schedule. He’s an absolute gem!

Schedule
One or both of us is home every day and we love getting outdoors and being active if that's what your pup craves. Great walking neighborhood and Lake Temescal is just 5 minutes down the road for serious sniffing potential. We average 5-10 miles a day of walking if your dog enjoys long walks, and Brian can run up to 12 miles per day on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
No other animals in our house currently. Single family home with fenced outdoor area. Very dog-friendly and safe neighborhood. Dogs can be crated or uncrated at night (your preference).
A typical day
We're happy to take the lead from your pooch regarding options for spending our time together. Our neighborhood is great for walks, and there are easily accessible parks nearby. And our house and backyard has plenty of room for running, exploring, and just chilling in the sun!
