About: Mom & Daughter Pet Care Team 🐾 Hi! I’m Cindy, a reliable and caring mom who has teamed up with my animal-loving daughter to provide loving, attentive care for your pets. We treat every animal like part of our family and understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone you trust. I am the primary caregiver and fully responsible for all services, scheduling, communication, and safety. My daughter joins me for walks and visits when appropriate, under my supervision, and absolutely adores spending time with animals. She has grown up around pets and is gentle, patient, and respectful of their needs. We’re especially great with dogs who enjoy extra attention, calm companionship, and consistency. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m happy to answer any questions and always offer a meet-and-greet so you can feel completely comfortable. Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around dog walks and drop-in visits after school and work so that pets receive reliable, on-time care and unhurried attention. Anytime after 5pm M-F and Saturday and Sundays we are pretty open, just send a request and we will do our best to accommodate you and your fur baby. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I accept to ensure each pet (including our own fur babies) gets the time, patience, and care they deserve. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care while maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I am the primary caregiver and personally handle all walks, visits, communication, and safety. My daughter may accompany me at times under my supervision and helps provide extra love and companionship, but all care decisions and responsibilities are mine. During walks, I prioritize safety first by using secure leashes, following your preferred routes, and adjusting pace and distance to your dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Walks include positive reinforcement, sniff time, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for by providing fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection. I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and always leave things tidy. I provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Every pet is treated like a member of our family, with patience, kindness, and consistency.
About: What sets me apart is my deep understanding of pets' unique needs, gained through years of hands-on experience with animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Whether I'm caring for playful puppies, energetic adults, or senior pets with special requirements, I tailor my approach to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and understood. There is a long line of veterinarians in my family therefore I understand the importance of quality care. My goal is to provide peace of mind for you and a second home for your furry friend, where they’ll receive the same level of care and affection they get from you. Fun fact I hope to become a veterinarian after school! As a college student-athlete, my schedule is flexible. I'm available every day aligning pet care around my class and practice times. Any changes or commitments are communicated in advance for seamless planning and reliable pet care. I am a student-athlete at Berkeley and am looking for a part-time job to spend time and help out with your furry friends. I know your pets mean the world to you, which is why safety is my top priority and I am committed to providing the best care for them so you can rest assured that they are taken care of while you are away.

“Vivian was wonderful with Honey. They knew just what to do and gave me great tips to help with her issues of separation anxiety and crate training. They took a walk during the 3 hrs I worked and I never heard any barking as I had in the past. I really appreciated that they made themselves available at late notice and the thoughtful care they used in dealing with Honey.”

About: I grew up with a dog that I was responsible for from a young age until my late teens. Today, I am the go-to dog care person for family and friends. I love animals but especially dogs so I decided to try expanding my skills here on Rover. I have experience helping dogs who are injured and need medicine, active, semi-active, and mellow dogs too! My current schedule offers flexibility throughout the weekdays and most weekends, which helps me balance and accommodate dog owners' various schedules/needs throughout the entire week. At your home, I am a responsible and conscientous person, who treats someone's home with care. I am adaptable to different home environments. The main thing for me is feeling safe in the home and cleanliness -:) and that the dog is comfortable.
“Cara did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away! I really appreciated her thoughtful updates about how he was doing, and she made me feel better knowing that he was under her care. She was a consistent and reliable caretaker.”

“Natalie was a great cat sitter for my 16 year old hairless cat. She was thoughtful, reliable, punctual, and followed instructions perfectly. The photos of him licking his chops or emerging from his blankets were so cute! Thank you so much Natalie! I plan to call you again.”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve looked after pets of all ages, including high-energy puppies and kittens, as well as senior pets who need a calmer, more attentive approach. I’m reliable, patient, and very detail-oriented when it comes to routines, feeding, walks, medications, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I know every animal has a different personality, and I always try to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. Whether your pet loves lots of playtime or prefers a quieter environment, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for them. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley and currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m available early mornings and later evenings Monday through Wednesday, and I have pretty open availability Thursday through Sunday for drop-ins, walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m reliable with timing and happy to work around each pet’s usual routine to make sure they stay comfortable and consistent while you’re away. I care for pets in the client’s home by sticking closely to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I follow all instructions carefully for feeding, walks, litter boxes, medications, and any specific habits or preferences each pet has. I also make sure to give them attention and playtime based on their personality whether that is active engagement or a more calm, hands-off presence for shy or independent pets. I am very respectful of the home as well, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. My goal is always to make the experience as low-stress as possible for both the pet and the owner so everything feels consistent while you are away.

About: Hi, I'm Jules — a recent Cal grad based in Berkeley this summer! While I'm new to Rover, I am absolutely not new to dogs. I've been walking, sitting, and caring for dogs for 6+ years across a wide range of needs and breeds, and I take every animal's individual personality and care requirements seriously. What sets me apart: Puppies — I have hands-on experience raising and caring for puppies, including crate training support, socialization, high-energy play, and building trust with young dogs still learning the world around them. Cats — I'm just as comfortable with cats and can handle drop-ins, feeding, litter, and playtime for feline family members too. Medication administration — I am experienced with administering oral medications, pills hidden in treats, and following vet-prescribed care routines carefully and consistently. Senior dogs — I have a gentle, patient approach with older dogs who need a slower pace, more frequent potty breaks, joint-friendly movement, and extra TLC. Dogs with disabilities — I have experience with dogs that have mobility challenges, anxiety, or other special needs, and I'm comfortable adapting care plans to meet their unique requirements. I own an English Cream Golden Retriever named Phoebe, so I know firsthand just how much love, attention, and patience dogs deserve. I'm active, energetic, and genuinely passionate about animals — your pet won't just be looked after, they'll be truly cared for. As a recent post-grad with a fully open summer, my schedule is extremely flexible and available around yours. I am available full-time, including: Early morning walks (before 8am) Midday and lunch-hour drop-ins Afternoon and evening walks Weekdays and weekends I keep my bookings manageable so that every pet receives my complete, undivided attention — you'll never feel like your dog is just another appointment on a packed list. When I'm in a client's home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want someone to show mine. I stick closely to each pet's existing routine, since familiar schedules help dogs feel calm and secure. Doors, gates, and latches are always double-checked. I never let dogs off-leash in unsecured areas, and I stay fully attentive — phone down, eyes on your pup. For dogs on medication or with special care needs, I follow instructions exactly as given and will always communicate any concerns promptly.
About: I’ve taken care of 2 dogs and 5 cats since I was young and have pet sat on multiple occasions for friends and family. I currently take care of my family’s elderly cat. I am completely free after 2pm most of the week and available on weekends depending on availability. Please let me know what works best for you, thank you :) I will stay close to your pet(s) and make sure that they are comfortable and well taken care of. Pets mean so much to me and this feeling extends to others’ pets.
About: I’ve spent most of my animal care time over my life with all kinds and sizes of dogs. I love every pup’s different personality! I’ve been pet and house sitting since I was a teen with a reputation for care and cleanliness. My weeks are fairly regular. I bartend for work so I will be absent from around 6-8 pm to 12-3am a few days a week. Otherwise I have my day time free with plenty of time for fun outdoor expeditions. Your comfort and trust are of upmost important to me! Pets are family and they need to be properly taken care of. I prefer caring for them in your home so their environment is familiar and I am a support coming to their home to make them safe.
“Rong is fantastic! She’s taken care of my kitty a couple of times now and always does a great job. She’s been super accommodating to last minute schedule changes, and is always kind and thorough. My cat loves her and I feel so much better leaving knowing Rong is watching her!”

“I highly recommend John and plan on hiring him again. I have 2 difficult, previously feral cats and he was ready to accept their anxiety, indifference, and their rudeness. We had to change our schedule 3 times because of other family members catching Covid, but John rolled with the changes, showing an accepting and professional attitude. He totally gets animals and the flaky humans who have to change plans. Thank you, John!”

“Wenjie did a great job taking care of Brody. Brody usually shies away from new people, but he became friends with Wenjie quickly! Wenjie treated both our dog & our home respectfully and I will definitely seek him out again when the need arises. We were kept fully informed after every visit. It made us feel like Brody was in very capable care, leaving us able to relax and not worry at all while we were away. Definitely a 5 star experience! Thanks again, Wenjie!”

“Vlad is hands down the best dog walker we’ve ever worked with! His communication is top-tier; he is incredibly responsive and always keeps me updated, which gives me total peace of mind throughout the day. More importantly, he is completely responsible and reliable. It’s clear he truly cares about the dogs he works with, and my dog, Patron, absolutely loves him. Seeing how excited Patron gets for his walks speaks volumes. If you’re looking for someone professional who you can trust implicitly with your pet, Vlad is the one!”

About: I love meeting each pet exactly where they are. I love a long walk (or run) as much as a chill cuddle bug who just wants cuddles. Experience with giving medication to cats and dogs I am currently working part-time and I always have time for late afternoon/evening walks. For mornings/day, I usually have a 1 week lead time with my schedule so I am a great last minute sitter/walker because if I am available I would love to help out! I take safety very seriously and will follow your directions to the letter. I know how much it takes to trust someone else with your fur baby and I want you to know your pet is in good hands. I also have experience with diabetic animals, as well as giving medication for other ailments.

About: I’m currently in graduate school studying psychology and spend a lot of time outdoors walking, hiking, and regulating my own nervous system through movement and nature. Caring for dogs feels like a natural extension of that rhythm. I’m especially good with anxious, fearful, sensitive, or highly attuned dogs who benefit from calm, grounded, patient care. I understand how much animals communicate through energy, pacing, and nervous system cues, and I aim to create an experience that feels safe and steady for both pets and owners. Whether your dog needs a peaceful walk, overnight care, playtime, or simply a reliable and attentive presence while you’re away, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs. I’m happy to provide thoughtful updates and photos so you can feel at ease while your pet is in my care. I’m currently in graduate school and have a flexible schedule during the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. Spending time outdoors with dogs is one of the ways I stay grounded and connected during long days of studying. I take my own dog to Point Isabel every day and especially enjoy relaxed neighborhood walks, outdoor time, and providing calm companionship and consistent care for pets while their owners are away. I approach pet care with patience, attentiveness, and respect for each animal’s unique temperament and nervous system. I’m especially comfortable with anxious, fearful, sensitive, or highly attuned dogs and aim to create an environment that feels calm, safe, and predictable. I pay close attention to body language, pacing, routines, and comfort levels, and I communicate clearly with owners so everyone feels at ease.
“Anny is a great communicator and problem solver. My bulldog can be stubborn and she was patient and loving to him when he didn’t want to walk. She was honest and clear about what she tried and how he responded. I trust her and appreciate her being kind to my Poppy.”

“Lia is the best! She takes such good care of my dog and always goes above and beyond. You can tell she really loves what she does, my pup is always so happy to see her. She gives great updates and sends the cutest pics too. Would recommend her to anyone!”

Panoramic Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
I had a wonderful experience with Amelia, who took care of my cat for three weeks! She is incredibly attentive and patient. When she first arrived, my cat was very scared and hid away. However, Amelia didn't rush things at all. With her gentle approach and great patience, my cat slowly warmed up to her, and they eventually started interacting and playing together. Having her around for three weeks gave me total peace of mind, knowing my shy cat was in such loving and reliable hands. I am so glad I found Amelia on Rover, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional long-term or short-term pet sitter! Thank you so much Amelia ❤️

Thank you Cassandra! Very professional and she got Kate’s confidence very easily. She is not a shy cat but she needs to warm up to strangers, and during the 30mn visits, she provided our cat the care she needed, mostly pets 🥰 and Kate loved her (our last sitter had one visit without seeing Kate, who stayed hidden…) We were able to leave for the weekend without being worried :) I recommend her warmly!

Aleja is an amazing pet sitter! Barnaby loves her - she is super responsive and keeps me posted about how he’s doing. She often goes beyond what is required of her to make sure he is comfortable. For example - she cut his nails for him though I never asked her to. She also builds a connection and is really well suited to care for pets! Could not recommend her enough.

Before Beatrice, I wouldn’t even dare imagine a cat-sitter so responsible and caring, and I feel so grateful that I found Beatrice! She is super friendly and kind, and very attentive to details during her visits for my cats. It’s very obvious that Beatrice truly prioritizes the needs of my cat babies, and she makes real efforts to ensure that both of my cats can have a great time. I strooooongly recommend anyone who needs a cat-sitter to consider Beatrice, and she’s simply the best ❤️

DENNIS WAS AMAZING!!! He was incredibly helpful when things went wrong (offering to buy food when it ran out) and even bringing toys to play with my cats. my cats were left happy and extremely well cared for while i was away. Would absolutely love to have Dennis cat sit again <3

Natalie was a great cat sitter for my 16 year old hairless cat. She was thoughtful, reliable, punctual, and followed instructions perfectly. The photos of him licking his chops or emerging from his blankets were so cute! Thank you so much Natalie! I plan to call you again.

Went above and beyond taking care of my two cats! I felt so comfortable (and happy!) with the care she gave them between lots of extra love, fixing the litter robot (thanks again! lol), and great reports that let me know everything going on with them. Will definitely have her help watch them again for me!
