About: I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I have cared for dogs with physical disabilities and who require medications. I am also a nurse so feel very comfortable in the caregiving role. I work from home so have a reasonable amount of flexibility. I take my own dog for a walk twice a day and regularly visit dog parks for socialization. I have a fully enclosed deck/yard. We have lots of toys and balls for the dogs to play. My teen kids also love pets. They would enjoy playing with new pups if the owner's approve.

About: I grew up with two large black labs, and I regularly walked my neighbors’ dogs throughout middle and high school. I have been an unofficial dog and cat sitter for friends and family as an adult, and I currently live with my two cats. I love animals and they seem to love me too. I think my special skill is that I understand how to earn their respect and I take the time to learn how they like to play and be touched, rather than assume. I currently work part-time from home, so I get to set my own schedule and can be very flexible. My cats are very self-sufficient, and I do have a partner and a family network that can step in to take care of them when we are out of town or spending the night elsewhere. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow instructions to the letter. I respect their home, make their pets my priority, and stick to a routine. Since I work from home, I can accommodate requests for pets not to be left alone for more than a certain time.
