She very much understands how to interact with a fearful dog who needs time to feel trusting. Her experience as the guardian of a rescue dog herself definitely comes into play. She was punctual, cheerful, and generous-minded, and we really appreciate her willingness to work with Penny! We will definitely use her again.”

About: I got my first German Shepherd 5 years ago and another one 3 years ago. I've always loved dogs and after becoming an adult the first thing I did was get me a new bestfriend. I am currently work from home and volume is low so I have plenty of time to take care of your dog! Our current schedule with my dogs are 3-4 walks a day. 1 Long walk in the morning, 2 quick afternoon outside sessions and 1 long evening walk. I have 2 friendly German Shepherds and 4 cats. They all get along and theres no issues in the house. We have a time out room we utilize when there might be too much stimulation so everyone can take a break and we have an outside area with turf where we can all just sit and relax as well.

When I returned from my trip, my cat was calm & happy and I can tell he was taken care of well. Updates were always timely and she has been very easy to contact when needed/planning etc. which is a something I really needed in a pet sitter and value so so much. She also went the extra mile helping out with monitoring some extra things after a recent health issue he had and am so appreciative of that! I have had several rescue dogs with health and trust issues due to the abuse they encountered in their prior life. Julia is extremely empathetic and has such a calm demeaner with them, which helps immensely especially when it comes to grooming and vet visits. I always relied on Julia to help me keep the dogs at ease in stressful situations. I'm sad she can no longer help take care of my babies since she has moved away, but I'm happy for the next person (and fur baby) she can help!”
